The current High-Speed Railway(HSR)communications increasingly fail to satisfy the massive access services of numerous user equipment brought by the increasing number of people traveling by *** this end,this paper investigates millimeter-Wave(mmWave)extra-large scale(XL)-MIMO-based massive Internet-of-Things(loT)access in near-field HSR communications,and proposes a block simultaneous orthogonal matching pursuit(B-SOMP)-based Active User Detection(AUD)and Channel Estimation(CE)scheme by exploiting the spatial block sparsity of the XLMIMO-based massive access ***,we first model the uplink mmWave XL-MIMO channels,which exhibit the near-field propagation characteristics of electromagnetic signals and the spatial non-stationarity of mmWave XL-MIMO *** exploiting the spatial block sparsity and common frequency-domain sparsity pattern of massive access channels,the joint AUD and CE problem can be then formulated as a Multiple Measurement Vectors Compressive Sensing(MIMV-CS)*** on the designed sensing matrix,a B-SOMP algorithm is proposed to achieve joint AUD and ***,simulation results show that the proposed solution can obtain a better AUD and CE performance than the conventional CS-based scheme for massive IoT access in near-field HSR communications.

The linear motor has characteristics of simple structure, high positioning accuracy and fast response. Now it is widely used in machinery manufacturing, aerospace industry and many linear motion occasions. In this paper, in order to realize accuracy tracking of two-axis linear motor gantry system, modified model free adaptive control is proposed and used to realize the position control. The controller design is just based on the input and output data of linear motor instead of motor mathematical model. For the gantry system, an experimental setup is built. In the designed experimental *** use Visual C++ to realize the control algorithm, PMAC Clipper to control the input and output data with, and D1 driver to drive the motor. At last, experiment results show that the method guarantees strong robustness for desired trajactory and satisfactory control performance.

Smart agriculture is used by many farmers and its effects, which decrease the workload on farms and increase crop yield, have been confirmed. However, it has not yet become popular with medium- or small-scale farmers in Japan, many of whom are quite elderly, because of its high cost and uncertainties about its effect. Therefore, we proposed an agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) system using low power wide area (LPWA) wireless technology. The IoT system consists of a sensor network, remote control devices, and a smartphone application. Our LPWA communication system covers all fields in a large farm;therefore, farmers can use our system at a low cost by sharing the communication system. Furthermore, because the smartphone application allows farmers share farm information with privacy they can control, they can use the application to support each other. We began experiments using this IoT system with farmers;this paper presents the results of those experiments and discusses the availability of this system.

This paper proposes a reduced-size and tunable 3dB branch-line hybrid. The proposed hybrid consists of short transmission lines with equal characteristic impedance and shunt lumped tuning capacitors. The authors fabricated the proposed hybrid on PTFE substrates at 2GHz. In the measurements, while tuning capacitance changes from 1.3pF to 2.7pF, center frequency shifted 1.8GHz to 2.4GHz, with -19.5dB return loss, ±0.3dB outputs amplitude difference, and 90±3° phase difference. These measurement results agree with analytical calculation accurately. In general, these hybrids are particularly useful for power dividers or power combiners in microwave circuit as balanced mixers, image-rejection mixers, and balanced amplifiers.

While thinprep cytologic test is the most commonly applied diagnosis approaches for cervical cancer, current detection results highly depend on specific category of cervical cells screened by cytotechnicians on the slides using optical microscopes, which lack robustness. In this paper, we proposed a time series based two-stage quantitative detection framework in whole slide cervical images that could be applied by pathologists to generate lesion grades on smear-level effectively. We designed a You Only Look Once network combined with attention module and integrated it with the multi-scale feature fusion to refine the representations and classify the cervical cells more accurately (precision of 0.8647 and true positive rate of 95.8%). We presented a quantitative description of DNA contents and combined it with Matthew effect to rectify their contributions to final diagnosis, which provides a clearer quantitative standard for the degree of cell proliferation. We extracted the time series features and generated the final grading results, and explained how we benefit from this framework to obtain a model which fully utilizes the global smear information, enhances the detection robustness, supplies the existing cervical screening system and is not easily influenced by the false classification of cervical cells (accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of 0.9193, 0.9285, 0.9234 on smear-level). We clearly presented and expatiated the concepts of time series features in cervical cancer detection, and ensured that global information of each smear will be efficiently mined for final screening. Finally, we evaluated our solution on two real clinical slide datasets, highlighting the inner relationship between time series features and physiological states of patients, adapting it to be as easily integrated in current diagnosis system as possible, enriching existing detection principles and achieving a comparable cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grading accuracy to that of a pro
