Polymers have been extensively studied in the field of flexible sensors for wearable electronics. However, polymer-based flexible sensors still face great challenges in terms of sensitivity, sensing range and stretchable properties. This paper reports a novel self-assembled flexible strain and temperature sensor, constructed from NiO molecular spheres assembled between MXene flakes. This sensor exhibits exceptional temperature sensitivity, with a sensitivity up to -15.11%°C-1. It operates a broad temperature range(-20~60°C) and boasts a high measurement gauge factor(GF) of 6.57, along with a significant elongation at break exceeding 572%. Additionally, the sensor demonstrates an ultrahigh tensile strength of over 45 MPa. The microstructure of the sensor, featuring pyramidal formations, facilitates rapid testing capabilities. Furtherly, breathing cycle test under 0°C was performed, showing robust reliability. Furthermore, an array sensing circuit has been developed and designed to precisely measure spatial temperature distributions, enhancing utility of the sensor in various applications. © 2025 IEEE.

To use an intelligent tutoring system (ITS) in an educational setting effectively, it is necessary to understand the skill status of students and recommend appropriate questions. Existing studies focused on improving the performance of ITS using student modeling to estimate the skill status of students. Knowledge tracing (KT) is the mainstream student modeling method, and deep learning approaches such as deep knowledge tracing and self-attentive knowledge tracing have been studied extensively in recent years. These models take only the questions solved by the student and the correct or incorrect answers to those questions as input;they do not assume the use of other features. In this study, we perform student modeling using DeepFM and FiBiNET that combines factorization machines and deep learning. Our results indicate that these models are more accurate than KT because of their ability to cope with sparse data and consider pairwise feature interactions, and more suited for real-world applications than KT. © 2023 The Authors. TiNb_(2)O_(7)has been emerged as one of the most promising electrode materials for high-energy lithium-ion ***,limited by the slow electron/ion transport kinetics,and insufficient active sites in the bulk structure,the TiNb_(2)O_(7)electrode still suffers from unsatisfactory lithium storage ***,we demonstrate a spatially confined strategy toward a novel TiNb_(2)O_(7)-NMC/MXene composite through a triblock copolymer-directed one-pot solvothermal route,where TiNb_(2)O_(7)quantum dots with a particle size of 2-3 nm are evenly embedded into N-doped mesoporous carbon(NMC)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X)***,the as-prepared TiNb_(2)O_(7)-NMC/MXene anode exhibits a high reversible capacity(486.2 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)after 100 cycles)and long cycle lifespan(363.4 mAh g^(-1)at ss1 A g^(-1)after 500 cycles).Both experimental and theorical results further demonstrate that such a superior lithium storage performance is mainly ascribed to the synergistic effect among 0D TiNb_(2)O_(7)quantum dots,2D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X)MXene nanosheets,and N-doped mesoporous *** strategy presented also opens up new horizon for space-confined preparation of high-performance electrode materials.

Educational Data Mining (EDM) aims to enhance education by analyzing learners' skills and question difficulty levels using machine learning methods. Knowledge Tracing (KT), a subfield of EDM, utilizes Hidden Markov Models to estimate learners' abilities and predict their performance on unseen questions. While deep learning methods, such as bi-directional RNNs, have improved KT's accuracy, they may lack interpretability from an educational psychology perspective. Item Response Theory (IRT), widely used in educational statistics, offers greater explanatory potential. This study proposes a model that integrates the concept of forgetting into IRT for improved accuracy and explainability in Knowledge Tracing using bi-directional RNNs. The forgetting concept is based on Ebbinghaus' forgetting curve theory. Three experiments were conducted using synthetic data to compare a model from a previous study, a model based on the proposed method, and a model that combines the previous study's model with IRT but excludes the forgetting concept. © 2023 The Authors. Quantum circuit simulation is the basic tool for reasoning over quantum programs. Despite the tremendous advance in the simulator technology in the recent years, the performance of simulators is still unsatisfactory on non-trivial circuits, which slows down the development of new quantum systems. In this work, we develop a loop summarizing simulator based on multi-terminal binary decision diagrams (MTBDDs) with efficiently customized quantum gate operations. The simulator is capable of automatic loop summarization using symbolic execution, which saves repetitive computation for circuits with iterative structures. Experimental results show the simulator outperforms state-of-the-art simulators on some standard circuits, such as Grover’s algorithm, by several orders of magnitude. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).

The current High-Speed Railway(HSR)communications increasingly fail to satisfy the massive access services of numerous user equipment brought by the increasing number of people traveling by *** this end,this paper investigates millimeter-Wave(mmWave)extra-large scale(XL)-MIMO-based massive Internet-of-Things(loT)access in near-field HSR communications,and proposes a block simultaneous orthogonal matching pursuit(B-SOMP)-based Active User Detection(AUD)and Channel Estimation(CE)scheme by exploiting the spatial block sparsity of the XLMIMO-based massive access ***,we first model the uplink mmWave XL-MIMO channels,which exhibit the near-field propagation characteristics of electromagnetic signals and the spatial non-stationarity of mmWave XL-MIMO *** exploiting the spatial block sparsity and common frequency-domain sparsity pattern of massive access channels,the joint AUD and CE problem can be then formulated as a Multiple Measurement Vectors Compressive Sensing(MIMV-CS)*** on the designed sensing matrix,a B-SOMP algorithm is proposed to achieve joint AUD and ***,simulation results show that the proposed solution can obtain a better AUD and CE performance than the conventional CS-based scheme for massive IoT access in near-field HSR communications.

In the wet semiconductor process, abrasive nanoparticles are widely used in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process to polish wafer surfaces for high planarization. During polishing, nanoparticles move with a high-speed three-dimensional (3D) position in the solution. In the 3D particles's moving positions, Z is a perpendicular longitudinal distance between the surface to the nanoparticle that plays a significant role in polishing, which could not be measured by general microscopy without longitudinal scanning. To understand nanoparticle phenomena near-surface, we have proposed and developed the apparatus with real-time fastmotion tracking on optical multi-wavelength evanescent fields microscopy to measure the 3D motion of the nanoparticle in water without scanning. In euspen's 2020, we could verify the relative distance ?Z of nanoparticles in water, but the absolute distance Z is unknown yet. In this manuscript, we have therefore developed an invisible nano-step height in water to verify the absolute height Z of an individual nanoparticle. The invisible nano-step height in water is made from an optical resin with a refractive index of 1.35 that is close to a refractive index of water to avoid unnecessary light during experimental verification. The nano-step height was less than 100 nm on a glass surface, fabricated using nanoimprint lithography. Polystyrene f100 nm standard particles in water were used to verify the height Z. The results of height Z of nanoparticles could be measured less than 100 nm with the measurement uncertainty ±10 nm (2s), which is related to the interferometer result of the nano-step height. © European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022.
