Viewer reaction analysis in ad-supported video content focuses on the use of advanced techniques to understand and interpret the emotional responses expressed by viewers during ad viewing experiences. This analysis goes beyond simple positive or negative sentiment and delves into the nuances of viewer reactions, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of the emotional impact of ads. With this information, advertisers can make data-driven decisions to optimize their advertising strategies, create more engaging content, and ultimately enhance the viewer experience. One of the challenges in sentiment analysis for viewer reaction analysis is the inherent subjectivity and variability of human emotions. Emotions can be complex and subjective, making it difficult to accurately capture and interpret them solely based on text or viewer feedback. Different individuals may perceive and express emotions differently, adding another layer of complexity to the analysis process. Addressing these challenges requires a combination of advanced deep learning model refinement. Overcoming these challenges can provide valuable insights into viewer reactions, enabling advertisers and content creators to create more engaging and impactful ad-supported video content. In this paper, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based sentiment analysis is introduced to analyze the viewer's reaction while watching the ad in the video content. Here, an efficient model named Trans-Long Short-Term Memory (Trans-LSTM) is developed to perform the sentiment analysis. The developed Trans-LSTM is helpful in supervising the emotional data in the online video content and identifying the popularity of the corresponding video. The suggested model effectively analyzes the reviewer’s actions while watching all types of video content. Finally, the experimental analysis is performed to find the effectiveness of the developed sentiment analysis model via various metrics.

Objectives/Scope: This study outlines the development and use of a modified dummy gas lift valve designed to obtain subsurface microbiological samples from a defined depth series across a production well. An overview of the initial field pilot is presented wherein microbiological data from the modified valve will be contrasted with topside samples to evaluate the information yielded from sampling downhole biofilm communities in place of planktonic populations from the well head. Methods, Procedures, Process: In this approach, the modified dummy gas lift valve, preloaded topside with carbonate plugs and coupons, is deployed at various depths in the well's completion for downhole incubation. This modification allows production fluids to wet the payloads, enabling in situ biofilm colonization by reservoir communities across depth and temperature gradients. Post retrieval using a slickline tool, sample DNA is extracted for metagenomic sequencing, assessing microbial composition and metabolic capabilities (including souring and MIC-related activities). Concurrent production fluid samples from the wellhead will be analyzed for comparison to evaluate any information gained from biofilm over planktonic population sampling. Results, Observations, Conclusions: Samples from the modified valve are expected to provide sufficient yields of DNA, uncontaminated by non-resident microbes from outside of the producer. Microbial data from downhole biofilms is anticipated to provide a more diverse community makeup than production fluid communities sampled at the wellhead, with a corresponding increase in problematic species associated with MIC and souring. Corrosion coupon analyses will enable conclusions regarding proactive decision-making enablement and extrapolations of 3D projections of microbiological communities between modified valves across the completion column will provide the relationship between in situ conditions, microbial colonization in the context of pore space and risk

A Consensus-Based Generalized Multi-Population Aggregative Game with Application to Charging Coordination of Electric Vehicles

This paper introduces a consensus-based generalized multi-population aggregative game coordination approach with application to electric vehicles charging under transmission line constraints. The algorithm enables agents to seek an equilibrium solution while considering the limited infrastructure capacities that impose coupling constraints among the users. The Nash-seeking algorithm consists of two interrelated iterations. In the upper layer, population coordinators collaborate for a distributed estimation of the coupling aggregate term in the agents’ cost function and the associated Lagrange multiplier of the coupling constraint, transmitting the latest updated values to their population’s agents. In the lower layer, each agent updates its best response based on the most recent information received and communicates it back to its population coordinator. For the case when the agents’ best response mappings are non-expansive, we prove the algorithm’s convergence to the generalized Nash equilibrium point of the game. Simulation results demonstrate the algorithm’s effectiveness in achieving equilibrium in the presence of a coupling constraint. © 2023, CC BY-NC-ND.

With the rapid advances in computer vision, human action recognition has gradually received attention, but the current methods still exhibit some problems in indoor environments. The human skeleton, as the framework of human motion, contains high-quality actional feature information, and the skeleton-based action recognition method effectively avoid the interference of interior background noise and has advantages in indoor action recognition. The outstanding effect of graph convolutional networks on graph structure data processing has led to its rapid development and wide application in skeleton-based action recognition. Second-order skeletal information also contains a large number of actional features but is not effectively utilized. The artificial predefined topology of the human skeleton map has limitations, and cannot reflect the interaction between limbs. To solve the above problems, this article designs an adaptive weighted multi-stream graph convolutional network (AM-GCN) based on skeletal information, using an attention mechanism to enhance the network's ability to extract actional features, and an adaptive layer to make the construction graph more flexible, incorporating second-order skeletal features through a dual-stream architecture. In this article, the NTU-RGB+D dataset has been used for the experiments, the results show that the method in this article has good results. © 2023 IEEE.

In the process of steel plate production, predicting the plate shape is of great significance for producing high-quality and consistently stable plate shapes. This paper presents a model that predicts both the defect types and flatness of the plate, providing theoretical support for setting process parameters in roller quenching production. First, the parameters of the quenching process are analyzed to identify their characteristics. Then, the K-Means clustering algorithm and correlation analysis are employed to process the quenching process parameters. A gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) model is used to predict the defect types and flatness of the steel plates. Finally, industrial production data is utilized for experimental validation. The obtained experimental results verify the reliability of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

We present a tunable repetition rate frequency comb realized by cascaded electro-optical modulators with a high nonlinear AlGaAs-on-isolator waveguide. 18-26.5 GHz comb spacing tunability with broadband spectra was achieved. Recently, there has been a growing interest in utilizing machine learning for accurate classification of power quality events (PQEs). However, most of these studies are performed assuming an ideal situation, while in reality, we can have measurement noise, DC offset, and variations in the voltage signal's amplitude and frequency. Building on the prior PQE classification works using deep learning, this paper proposes a deep-learning framework that leverages attention-enabled Transformers as a tool to accurately classify PQEs under the aforementioned considerations. The proposed framework can operate directly on the voltage signals with no need for a separate feature extraction or calculation phase. Our results show that the proposed framework outperforms recently proposed learning-based techniques. It can accurately classify PQEs under the aforementioned conditions with an accuracy varying between 99.81%-91.43% depending on the signal-to-noise ratio, DC offsets, and variations in the signal amplitude and frequency. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

A Q(t) meter is used to measure electrical properties in insulating materials. Here, Q(t) is the integral value of circuit current with time t. It is possible to measure the Q(t) of the insulation material of a capacitor and a cable by using Q(t) meter. The current through an insulating material is divided into an instantaneous charging current, an absorption current and an equilibrium leakage current. It is considered that the absorption current is related to charge accumulation in the insulating materials. In this paper, an enameled wire (1.6 PEW) is used to prepare a cable sample, the Q(t) of the coated polyester (PEs) is measured, and extraction of absorption current components from measured Q(t) are reported. © 2023 The Institute of electrical Engineers of Japan.
