The application of helicopter emergency rescue is becoming increasingly widespread,but the flight crew training in this area is still difficult due to high cost and ***,with the development of Virtual Reality(VR)technology,virtual simulation has become a significant role in crew training of helicopter *** the implementation of VR-based training,how to transform complex real tasks into VR scenarios and how to evaluate the performance of crew are of great *** address these issues,a novel VR-based R-E-A-D(Report,Evaluate,Agree,Do)evaluation model for training is proposed,which is suitable for complex missions with multiple tasks,multiple scenarios,and multiple ***,a mapping method of VR scenarios is put forward,which can transform the real tasks into virtual scenarios to serve the virtual simulation ***,an experiment is carried out to verify the feasibility of the evaluation method and virtual scenario mapping method.

In this paper, the preassigned-time synchronization (PTS) problem for a fifth-order memristive chaotic circuit (MCC) is investigated by designing a time-dependent intermittent controller. First, the dynamic characteristics of the MCC, especially the existence and occurrence of chaos, are investigated by simulation experiments. Besides, the stability of the equilibrium points is discussed by using Routh-Hurwitz criterion. Then, a time-dependent intermittent controller is designed and the PTS of MCC is realized via the presented controller. Finally, the effectiveness of theoretical results is verified by means of numerical simulations.

Rotor blades fault of aeroengine compressor is mostly caused by mechanical and aerodynamic *** the excitation factor of high intensity sound wave to rotor blades should not be *** researches are conducted on a multistage high pressure *** high level vibration occurs on the first stage of rotor blades, the noise spectrum presents typical characteristic for discrete multi-tone in the *** amplitude of blade vibration displacement and the sound pressure level of characteristic frequency noise increases and decreases simultaneously and reaches the maximum value at the same *** frequency merely occur on a certain speed range and is locked in a specific range which presents no variation with the rotating *** high level vibration occurs on the first stage of rotor blades, the noise spectrum presents a sharp peak and the propagation state of the characteristic frequency is a helix structure in the *** can be confirmed that acoustic resonance occurs in the multistage *** acoustic resonance frequency and its side band frequencies are generated by modulation of a rotating noise source at the rotor speed which is the excitation source of the rotor blades vibration.

Binary multi-scale CdS/ZnO heterogeneous architectures comprised of zero-dimensional (0D) CdS nanoparticles depositing onto 3D flower-like architectures self-aggregated by 2D ZnO nanoflakes have been successfully fabricated by a facile aqueous chemical process. The H2-generation rate of the optimized CZ-3 is calculated to be 15.682 mmol·g-1·h-1 under simulated solar irradiation, which is 15.25, 101.17 and 39.70 times higher than that of pristine ZnO, bare CdS, and the physical mixture, respectively. The photocatalytic oxidation kinetics rate constant over the optimal CZ-3 in degradation of Congo red is measured to be 0.05686 min-1 under simulated sunlight, which reaches 7.21, 9.07, 5.82 folds higher than that of pristine ZnO, pure CdS, and the physical mixture, respectively. The dual boosted photocatalytic performance of CdS/ZnO composite is assigned to the synergetic multi-scale heteroarchitecture with the interfacial heterojunction. The photocatalytic electron transfer mechanism is proposed based on the perfect band matching and the free radical experiments. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Personalization is crucial for the widespread adoption of advanced driver assistance system. To match up with each user's preference, the online evolution capability is a must. However, conventional evolution methods learn from naturalistic driving data, which requires a lot computing power and cannot be applied online. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a lesson learning approach: learning from driver's takeover interventions. By leveraging online takeover data, the driving zone is generated to ensure perceived safety using Gaussian discriminant analysis. Real-time corrections to trajectory planning rewards are enacted through apprenticeship learning. Guided by the objective of optimizing rewards within the constraints of the driving zone, this approach employs model predictive control for trajectory planning. This lesson learning framework is highlighted for its faster evolution capability, adeptness at experience accumulating, assurance of perceived safety, and computational efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system consistently achieves a successful customization without further takeover interventions. Accumulated experience yields a 24% enhancement in evolution efficiency. The average number of learning iterations is only 13.8. The average computation time is 0.08 seconds. © 2024, The Authors. Based on the background of photovoltaic development in the whole county and the demand for energy storage on the user-side, this paper establishes an economic evaluation model of user-side photovoltaic energy storage system considering shared energy storage. Firstly, three schemes of no energy storage, independent energy storage and shared energy storage are proposed, and the influence of photovoltaic energy storage system loss on annual power generation is considered. Secondly, based on the whole life cycle theory, the cost and benefit model of the user-side photovoltaic energy storage system is established, and the unit electricity cost of the user is used as the evaluation index. Finally, the relevant data of user in Hubei area are analyzed as an example to verify the effectiveness of the model and provide reference for the investment of related projects.

We investigate the nonlinear vibrations of a functionally graded dielectric elastomer plate subjected to electromechanical loads. We focus on local and global dynamics in the system. We employ the Gent strain energy function to model the dielectric elastomer. The functionally graded parameters are the shear modulus, mass density, and permittivity of the elastomer, which are formulated by a common through-thickness power-law scheme. We derive the equation of motion using the Euler-Lagrange equations and solve it numerically with the Runge-Kutta method and a continuation-based method. We investigate the influence of the functionally graded parameters on equilibrium points, natural frequencies, and static/dynamic instability. We also establish a Hamiltonian energy method to detect safe regions of operating gradient parameters. Furthermore, we explore the effect of the functionally graded parameters on chaos and resonance by plotting several numerical diagrams, including time histories, phase portraits, Poincaré maps, largest Lyapunov exponent criteria, bifurcation diagram of Poincaré maps, and frequency-stretch curves. The results provide a benchmark for developing functionally graded soft smart materials. © 2024, CC BY.

Domain Adversarial Spatial-Temporal Network: A Transferable Framework for Short-term Traffic Forecasting across Cities

Accurate real-time traffic forecast is critical for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and it serves as the cornerstone of various smart mobility applications. Though this research area is dominated by deep learning, recent studies indicate that the accuracy improvement by developing new model structures is becoming marginal. Instead, we envision that the improvement can be achieved by transferring the "forecasting-related knowledge" across cities with different data distributions and network topologies. To this end, this paper aims to propose a novel transferable traffic forecasting framework: Domain Adversarial Spatial-Temporal Network (DastNet). DastNet is pre-trained on multiple source networks and fine-tuned with the target network's traffic data. Specifically, we leverage the graph representation learning and adversarial domain adaptation techniques to learn the domain-invariant node embeddings, which are further incorporated to model the temporal traffic data. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to employ adversarial multi-domain adaptation for network-wide traffic forecasting problems. DastNet consistently outperforms all state-of-the-art baseline methods on three benchmark datasets. The trained DastNet is applied to Hong Kong's new traffic detectors, and accurate traffic predictions can be delivered immediately (within one day) when the detector is available. Overall, this study suggests an alternative to enhance the traffic forecasting methods and provides practical implications for cities lacking historical traffic data.
