In this paper, the problem of collaborative vehicle sensing is investigated. In the considered model, a set of cooperative vehicles provide sensing information to sensing request vehicles with limited sensing and communication resources. A base station (BS) determines the subset of sensing request vehicles that each cooperative vehicle will serve and the sub-regions that each cooperative vehicle will detect. We formulate an optimization problem aiming to maximize the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles while satisfying the cooperative sensing energy requirement by jointly determining the cooperative vehicle association and the sensing sub-region selection. To solve this problem, we propose a graph attention based reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm that can generate the graph information vectors based on the correlation between each cooperative vehicle and each sensing request vehicle. Using the learned graph information, the joint cooperative vehicle association and sensing sub-region selection strategy will be determined. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the number of successfully detected sub-regions of sensing request vehicles by up to 12.5% compared to the conventional RL algorithm without using graph attention networks (GANs).

As the reproductive organ of the endangered species Fokienia hodginsii,the size of the cones is a constraint on the reproductive renewal of the *** this study,the molecular basis of the influence of cone size on *** was elucidated by comparing the phenotype,biochemistry,and transcriptome of two cultivars of ***(‘FJ431’and‘FJ415’).The two cultivars differed significantly in cone size,with FJ431 having a significantly larger cone size and weight than FJ415,1.32 and 1.90 times that of FJ415,***-Seq analysis of both cultivars retrieved 75,940 genes whose approximate functions were classified as the pathway of response to endogenous stimulus and response to hormone and showed significant differences in the auxin-activated signaling pathway,particularly the MAPK signaling ***,the endogenous IAA content was significantly higher in FJ431 than in FJ415,and 1.58 and 1.29 times more IAA was present in immature and mature cones,***,exogenous IAA treatment significantly induced the expression of the MAPK pathway-related gene TRINITY_DN10564_c0_g1 and significantly inhibited the expression of the MAPK pathwayrelated gene TRINITY_DN17056_c0_*** work suggests that IAA can affect the cone size of ***,most probably through the MAPK *** has high theoretical and practical significance for the improvement of genetic breeding and the further cultivation of quality germplasm resources of ***.

Hierarchy-Aware and Channel-Adaptive Semantic Communication for Bandwidth-Limited Data Fusion

Obtaining high-resolution hyperspectral images (HR-HSI) is costly and data-intensive, making it necessary to fuse low-resolution hyperspectral images (LR-HSI) with high-resolution RGB images (HR-RGB) for practical applications. However, traditional fusion techniques, which integrate detailed information into the reconstruction, significantly increase bandwidth consumption compared to directly transmitting raw data. To overcome these challenges, we propose a hierarchy-aware and channel-adaptive semantic communication approach for bandwidth-limited data fusion. A hierarchical correlation module is proposed to preserve both the overall structural information and the details of the image required for super-resolution. This module efficiently combines deep semantic and shallow features from LR-HSI and HR-RGB. To further reduce bandwidth usage while preserving reconstruction quality, a channel-adaptive attention mechanism based on Transformer is proposed to dynamically integrate and transmit the deep and shallow features, enabling efficient data transmission and high-quality HR-HSI reconstruction. Experimental results on the CAVE and Washington DC Mall datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms single-source transmission, achieving up to a 2 dB improvement in peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). Additionally, it reduces bandwidth consumption by two-thirds, confirming its effectiveness in bandwidth-constrained environments for HR-HSI reconstruction tasks. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. This research proposes a new strategy for a multi-lane truck platoon with tasks over long distances to merge into one lane for better traffic management and travel time optimization. The increasing demand for goods transportation and the growing concern over environmental issues have driven the need for more efficient and sustainable truck operations. We propose a new approach for automatically merging multi-lane truck platoons on public roads. When there is slow traffic ahead in some lanes, the platoon will merge into the fastest lane, reducing the travel time while ensuring safety and energy consumption by choosing an optimal gear. By the proposed approach, we can achieve more time-efficient truck operation and contribute to a more sustainable and intelligent transportation system. Based on our simulation results for two different situations, the platoon's travel time was reduced by up to 13% for the same path using our devised method. This study can serve as a foundation for further research into developing new technologies and solutions for enhancing the potential of truck platoon merging in multi-lane environments.

Vehicle Group Identification and Evolutionary Analysis Using Vehicle Trajectory Data

Vehicles often move forward in groups on the highways, especially when speed and density are high simultaneously. Abnormal maneuvers of a vehicle in a group influence multiple vehicles surrounding it, potentially leading to traffic accidents. We propose an approach to identify vehicle groups and analyse the factors influencing their evolutions using vehicle trajectory data. The proposed approach quantifies the interactions between neighboring vehicles based on the potential energy field, represents the interactive relationships among multiple vehicles using a multi-vehicle interaction network, and adopts the process of sub-network segmentation to identify vehicle groups. A random-parameter logistic regression (RPLG) model is developed to examine the influence of vehicle group features on vehicle group split. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated in a case study using a real-world dataset. The case study reveals that: (1) the interaction strengths between vehicles tend to increase with increasing speed, (2) the interaction strength between a vehicle and its preceding vehicle is the largest, while the interaction strengths between a vehicle and its vehicles on its sides are the lowest, and (3) higher longitudinal and lateral speeds, larger fluctuations in longitudinal speeds and accelerations, larger group size, larger distances between vehicles, more lanes occupied by a vehicle group, and higher vehicle interactions significantly increase the probability of vehicle group split. The findings of this study can potentially support the traffic management and development of autonomous driving technology in connected vehicle environments. © 2023, The Authors. In this paper, the preassigned-time synchronization (PTS) problem for a fifth-order memristive chaotic circuit (MCC) is investigated by designing a time-dependent intermittent controller. First, the dynamic characteristics of the MCC, especially the existence and occurrence of chaos, are investigated by simulation experiments. Besides, the stability of the equilibrium points is discussed by using Routh-Hurwitz criterion. Then, a time-dependent intermittent controller is designed and the PTS of MCC is realized via the presented controller. Finally, the effectiveness of theoretical results is verified by means of numerical simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the background of photovoltaic development in the whole county and the demand for energy storage on the user-side, this paper establishes an economic evaluation model of user-side photovoltaic energy storage system considering shared energy storage. Firstly, three schemes of no energy storage, independent energy storage and shared energy storage are proposed, and the influence of photovoltaic energy storage system loss on annual power generation is considered. Secondly, based on the whole life cycle theory, the cost and benefit model of the user-side photovoltaic energy storage system is established, and the unit electricity cost of the user is used as the evaluation index. Finally, the relevant data of user in Hubei area are analyzed as an example to verify the effectiveness of the model and provide reference for the investment of related projects. © 2023 IEEE.

Cross-Modal Generative Semantic Communications for Mobile AIGC: Joint Semantic Encoding and Prompt engineering

Employing massive Mobile AI-Generated Content (AIGC) Service Providers (MASPs) with powerful models, high-quality AIGC services can become accessible for resource-constrained end users. However, this advancement, referred to as mobile AIGC, also introduces a significant challenge: users should download large AIGC outputs from the MASPs, leading to substantial bandwidth consumption and potential transmission failures. In this paper, we apply cross-modal Generative Semantic Communications (G-SemCom) in mobile AIGC to overcome wireless bandwidth constraints. Specifically, we utilize a series of cross-modal attention maps to indicate the correlation between user prompts and each part of AIGC outputs. In this way, the MASP can analyze the prompt context and filter the most semantically important content efficiently. Only semantic information is transmitted, with which users can recover the entire AIGC output with high quality while saving mobile bandwidth. Since the transmitted information not only preserves the semantics but also prompts the recovery, we formulate a joint semantic encoding and prompt engineering problem to optimize the bandwidth allocation among users. Particularly, we present a human-perceptual metric named Joint Perpetual Similarity and Quality (JPSQ), which is fused by two learning-based measurements regarding semantic similarity and aesthetic quality, respectively. Furthermore, we develop the Attention-aware Deep Diffusion (ADD) algorithm, which learns attention maps and leverages the diffusion process to enhance the environment exploration ability of traditional deep reinforcement learning (DRL). Extensive experiments demonstrate that our proposal can reduce the bandwidth consumption of mobile users by 49.4% on average, with almost no perceptual difference in AIGC output quality.
