Red tides off the Japanese coast caused serious damages to aquaculture industries in every year (Honjo 1994). To reduce fisheries damage due to red tide, it is important to inform aquaculturist of red tides in short-term scale distribution. We developed a monitoring system which collects real-time data with a buoy to detect the occurrence of red tides on the sea. Our system can obtain data from a buoy drifted on the sea. The buoy has a GPS and two kinds of sensors that measure temperature and illuminance, and can connect to the Internet using mobile phone network. This paper describes a composition of our system, and a visualization of these data. In our experiments, the observing data was collected by the buoy in the middle of the Yatsushiro Sea. According to the experimental results, it was found that the movement of the buoy was mainly driven by tide current, rather than wind. We have proposed the use of glass-like carbon (GC), as mold material because the 27-maximum etching selectivity of polysiloxane film against GC, which was approximately six times larger than that of polysiloxane film against chemical vapor deposited (CVD) diamond film. We have investigated the fabrication of diamond nanopit arrays by room-temperature curing nanoimprint lithography (RTC-NIL) using GC mold, as applications to the emitter and the micro-gear. The polysiloxane has in the state of sticky liquid at room-temperature and negative-exposure characteristic. Therefore, the polysiloxane was used as RTC-imprint resist material, and also used as electron beam (EB) resist (oxide mask) material in EB lithography. We have fabricated the cylindrical GC nanodot mold with 500 nm-diameter, 600 nm-height and 2 μm-pitch. We carried out RTC-NIL using GC mold under the following optimum conditions: time from spin-coating to imprint of 1 min, imprinting pressure of 0.5 MPa and imprinting time of 5 min. Then, we have processed the diamond film with an electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) oxygen ion shower. We have fabricated diamond nanopit array with 250 nm-depth and 500 nm-diameter. The diameter of diamond nanopit pattern was in good agreement with that of GC mold. Moreover, the depth of the diamond nanopit patterns fabricated by RTC-NIL using cylindrical GC mold was three times larger than that using conical diamond mold. © 2012 Materials Research Society.

To address abnormal situations such as packaging damage, liquid leakage, and item displacement during logistics package transportation, this paper introduces Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and image recognition technology to achieve real-time anomaly detection and alarm, improving the response speed and accuracy of the logistics system. First, by designing multiple layers of convolution and pooling layers, adding Batch Normalization layers and Dropout layers to prevent overfitting, a CNN deep learning model suitable for logistics package anomaly detection is constructed. Key features are extracted through image preprocessing methods such as normalization and data enhancement to ensure that the model has high recognition adaptability to various abnormal situations such as damage and leakage. Secondly, through data enhancement methods such as rotation, scaling, brightness adjustment, and transfer learning using pre-trained models, the model's adaptability in different lighting, angles, and occlusion conditions is improved. Finally, the model is applied to actual monitoring, and real-time alarms are issued for abnormalities such as damage and leakage, which are then fed back to the system closed-loop management. This method is significantly better than traditional methods in terms of detection accuracy and response speed. Under natural light environment, the model detection accuracy is as high as 98.4%, reducing false positives and false negatives. Combining CNN's anomaly detection technology effectively improves the accuracy and efficiency of logistics monitoring and provides technical support for intelligent logistics management. ©2024 IEEE.

High resolution calculation for the Tsunami run-up simulation at Toyama-bay in Japan is achieved by using Adaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) method. The method is tested at Hamana-lake for the tide simulation, the water level rising simulation at Toyama-bay and Tsunami runs-up simulation at Toyama-bay. AMR generated the fine mesh at the boundary line between the water and the land. In the case of the tide simulation at Hamana-lake, the reasonably agreement result with the experimental data was given by using the AMR. In the case of water level rising simulation, the method kept the reasonably constant of the total number of calculation meshes by deleting the fine meshes at the far from the interested region, and the method was applied Tsunami run-up simulation at the Toyama-bay.

In oil exploitation, the completion tool is the key point to ensure the effective development of oil wells, and it must undergo strict pressure testing. Due to the high test pressure, there are potential safety hazards in the manual operation process. To improve safety and test efficiency, the automatic precision test system is developed. The detection system must realize the pressure detection process, provide feedback on the key data, give the corresponding curve reference, and generate the detection report. Through the PID algorithm, the precise control of the motor is realized. The system safety is guaranteed, and the detection accuracy is improved. The test results show that the completion tool pressure test control system can greatly improve detection efficiency. It can also fully reflect the entire detection process, accurately calculate some key parameters such as pressure drop, and obtain accurate results. The detection error is kept within 0.5%, ensuring the reliability of the detection process. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Level set method (LSM) is the efficient computation method for the interface capturing with corresponding of advection equation attend topological change of interface. LSM is consisted of the generation of signed distance function from initial interface and the convergence computation of the interface evolution for the target shape using the advection equation in conjunction with the mean curvature flow. We can get the image source from the actual object through the some kinds of distance measurement. The many measured points form the point cloud as the pointing sketch of a object surface. The precision surface model of the object requires that we extract the suitable interface for the purpose from the point cloud data. The extraction is one of image reconstruction. LSM is very useful method to extract the fine surface model from the point cloud data. However, the conventional LSM has some difficulties in the practical computing. In the long time computing, the distance function will be broken up without the frequent reinitialization of it. In this study, we proposed the new computation algorithm in which it is combined the LSM with the CIP scheme. The CIP presents very good performance to keep the shape profile in the advection computing. The obtained results are the various of examples of image reconstruction such as the convex sharp profile, the non-convex profile and the topological changing of profiles. We show the applicability and the effectiveness through the comparison of the CIP scheme with up-wind scheme.

3d-transition metal(Fe,Co,Ni,and Mn)-based MXene materials have been predicted to demonstrate exceptional electrochemical performance because of their good electrical conductivity and the presence of metallic atoms with multiple charge ***,until now,there have been no reports on MXenes based on Fe,Co,Ni,and Mn,due to the lack of 3d-metal-layered ***,we successfully synthesized the first 3d-transition metal-based MXenes,Mn_(2)CT_(x) by exfoliating a layered precursor derived from the anti-perovskite bulk *** as-prepared Mn_(2)CT_(x) MXene nanosheets were employed as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries,which exhibited stable storage capacity of 764.7 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.5 C,placing its storage capacities at an upper-middle level compared with other reported MXene materials as well as other Mn-based anode ***,this study opens a new avenue for MXene research by synthesizing 3d-transition metal-based MXenes for electrochemical applications.
