As a source of clean energy, wind power has attracted great interests around the world. Recent research reveals that wind farms have serious impacts on air traffic control (ATC) radars, which may threaten flight safety in aviation. The most likely impact of wind farm on ATC radars is the echo from the wind farm may appear on the radar displays, which will mislead the air traffic controller and might result in tragedies. Consequently, it attracts much attention on how to suppress the wind farm clutter. For the listed reasons above, a method of wind farm clutter recognition and suppression is proposed in this paper. The proposed method utilized the periodicity of the radar scan and the stability of the wind farm location to create the dynamic clutter map, which was employed to recognize and suppress the wind farm clutter thereafter. Effectiveness of the new method is verified via simulation experiments.

During the flight of the aircraft,the pilot must repeat the instruction sent by the controller,and the controller must further confirm these read-backs,in this way to further ensure the safety of air ***,fatigue,tension,negligence and other human factors may prevent the controller from realizing read-back errors in time,which is a huge hidden danger for the safety of civil aviation *** paper proposes a novel strategy to implement fine-grained semantic verification of radiotelephony read-backs by introducing interaction layer and attention mechanism at the output of BiLSTM *** with the traditional twochannel verification strategy,the interaction layer is added to obtain fine-grained semantic matching relation representation,rather than connecting the BiLSTM output vectors to obtain the overall semantic representation of the *** by adding attention layer,the new strategy can capture the potential semantic relation between the read-backs and the instructions,which is applicable to non-standard diction and abbreviated read-backs in real radiotelephony *** experiments are conducted and the results show that the proposed new strategy is more effective than the traditional method for read-backs checking,and the average test accuracy of the new strategy based on the Chinese ATC radiotelephony read-backs corpus can reach 93.03%.

The weakness of ADS-B signals makes it vulnerable to jamming. In order to suppress jamming, the paper proposes an ADS-B anti-jamming approach with low-complexity based on a cross-antenna array. First, down-sampling the digital IF signals received by array, and estimating the covariance matrix using the down-sampled snapshots. Because of the different duration and different features of DOAs between ADS-B 1090ES signals and jamming, the larger eigenvalues of the estimated covariance matrix mainly consist of jamming. Then the array weight vector could be conducted by power inversion algorithm based on the covariance matrix obtained from the first step. Finally, jamming can be nulled by the array weight vector. Thus the proposed method would almost only suppress jamming and the output SINR would be improved sharply. Down-sampling reduces the complexity of the algorithm. Simulation and experiments results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is vulnerable to spoofing interference which will lead to the failure of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. This paper proposed an effective approach to detect and suppress the spoofing interference based on a cross-antenna array without estimating the direction of arrival (DOA) of the received signal. Firstly, the location of target is received by the antenna array. Then the azimuth and the elevation according to the antenna array are obtained based on the locations of target and the central element of array. Secondly, the signal from the estimated direction is suppressed by projecting the received signal onto the orthogonal complement space of estimated steering vector. Finally, the target is recognized as a real target or spoofing according to the spoofing decision algorithm. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, a new algorithm of runways detection based on classification is proposed for PolSAR image, in which scattering similarity and structural characteristics of airport runways are used as target feature for classification. Firstly, training sample templates are built by initial terrain classification with scattering similarity. Then, Bayesian classification is used to classify the whole image. Finally, morphology filtering and the runways structural features such as parallels, topologic property are used to detect real runways. Multi-look fully polarimetric SAR data acquired by U.S. UAVSAR systems is used to verify the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that the novel method can detect runways effectively and has a low false alarm rate. Besides, the detected runways keep an intact structure and clear outlines.
