This research presents a novel electromagnetic-based sensor for inline measurement of unmilled rice paddy moisture content in the rice mill factory. The proposed sensor has been designed based on the modified planar dipole structure at the operating frequency of 440 MHz. The unmilled rice dielectric constant properties have been studied and applied for characterizing the moisture content. The unmilled rice moisture content sensor system then has been designed consisting of the proposed sensor, a microwave signal generator, a microwave signal detector, and a microcontroller. The moisture content sensor system has been implemented and used for measuring the unmilled rice paddy moisture content in a real rice mill factory in Udon Thani province, Thailand. When compared with the commercial rice moisture content tool based on a capacitance technique, the proposed rice moisture content sensor system gives almost same results, which only about 4% difference has been found.

We describe a method to estimate Rényi entanglement entropy of a spin system which is based on the replica trick and generative neural networks with explicit probability estimation. It can be extended to any spin system or lattice field theory. We demonstrate our method on a one-dimensional quantum Ising spin chain. As the generative model, we use a hierarchy of autoregressive networks, allowing us to simulate up to 32 spins. We calculate the second Rényi entropy and its derivative and cross-check our results with the numerical evaluation of entropy and results available in the literature.

We build a relativistic model to perform calculations of exclusive, semiexclusive, and inclusive unpolarized cross sections and various polarization observables in electron and neutrino scattering experiments with deuteron targets. The strong interaction dynamics is defined by an explicit dynamical unitary representation of the Poincaré group, where representations of space translations and rotations in the interacting and noninteracting representations are the same. The Argonne V18 potential is used to construct a relativistic nucleon-nucleon interaction reproducing the experimental deuteron binding energy and nucleon-nucleon scattering observables. Our formalism does not include the pion production channel and neglects two-body contributions in the electromagnetic as well as in the weak nuclear current operator. We show that it is applicable to processes at kinematics, where the internal two-nucleon energy remains below the pion production threshold but the magnitude of the three-momentum transfer extends at least to several GeV.
