Indonesia has entered a period of demographic bonus. Human resources must be optimized. The number of children who do not in employment, education or training (NEET) in each province needs attention. Several factors that could contribute to the decline in the NEET percentage are literacy rates and the number of adolescents with computer skills. Increasing these two factors is believed to be able to reduce the percentage of NEET in every province in Indonesia. To find out the relationship between these two factors and how much influence they have on the percentage of NEET, this research is modeled by Cauchy regression and includes spatial effects. The results of the analysis show that the best model is when the spatial effect is modeled by Fernandez Steel Skew Normal conditionally autoregressive (FSSN CAR). This result is seen from the smallest value of the Watanabe Akaike Information Criterion (WAIC) in this model, which is 190.5. The parameter estimated shows that the higher the literacy rate and the number of adolescents with computer skills, the lower the percentage of NEET in each province in Indonesia. The results of this research can be useful for the Indonesian government to increase the number of educational facilities related to these two factors. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). Poverty is considered a serious global issue that must be immediately eradicated by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, namely ending poverty anywhere and in any form. As a developing country, poverty is a complex issue faced by Indonesia. Tackling poverty in Indonesia has become a key focus of the government’s strategic priorities. This issue of poverty is experienced by all provinces in Indonesia, including Central Java. The poverty rate in Central Java stands at 10.77% or 3.79 million people. The causes of poverty are explained by several factors. Using these various factors, a mapping model can be conducted to determine the number of poor populations in Central Java. This research employs Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) and Mixed Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) approaches to compare the effectiveness of these models in analyzing the number of poor populations in Central Java in 2023. The kernel function weighting used in this study is Fixed Gaussian. The results showed that the MGWR model outperformed both the OLS regression and GWR models, achieving an Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) of 62.766, an R2 of 82.3%, and a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.177. Consequently, it can be inferred that the MGWR model was more suitable for explaining the poverty levels in Central Java. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). All Rights Reserved.

Lembang fault is an active fault that may trigger earthquakes and landslides in the North Bandung area. The movement of the fault is on the mainland, theLembang fult is still being debated even though an earthquake has been recorded which may have originated from this fault. The epicenter in the Cihideung area, in addition to tectonic influences, the activity of the Lembang fault is also thought to be influenced by volcanism which can affect the mechanism of fault movement. Tectonic processes play an essential role in the formation of the morphology of an area. The Lembang fault is a normal fault that was formed as a result of tectonic activity in the Neogene sge, located in the northern part of Bandung, stretching for 30 km in a west-east direction, the existence of this fault has shaped the morphology of the Lembang plains to the north and forms a hilly path trending west-east to the north. South. Tectonic geomorphology is the main factor that controls the development of landforms in active tectonic areas and have a significant influence on the natural features of mountains and watersheds which are located east of the Lembang fault, Cikapundung, and Cikeruh. Trending northwest-southeast geomorphic indication analysis is used to study tectonic activity in the study area in the form of basin shape (Bs), watersheds gradient index (SL), drainage basin asymmetry (Af), mountain face sinuosity (SMF) and valley floor width to valley height ratio (Vf). These geomorphic indication variables are combined to produce degrees of relative tectonic activity in the research area which can be divided into four classes;class 1 has a very high relative tectonic activity index, class 2 has a relatively high tectonic activity index, class 3 has a relatively moderate tectonic activity index, and class 4 has a relatively low tectonic activity index, field observation data in the form of the landform and geology of the research area support these results. © 2023 ACRS. The Langat River Basin in Malaysia is vulnerable to soil erosion risks because of its exposure to intensive land use activities and its topography,which primarily consists of steep slopes and mountainous ***,climate change frequently exposes this basin to drought,which negatively affects soil and water ***,recent studies have rarely shown how soil reacts to drought,such as soil ***,the purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between drought and soil erosion in the Langat River *** analyzed drought indices using Landsat 8 satellite images in November 2021,and created the normalized differential water index(NDWI)via Landsat 8 data to produce a drought *** used the revised universal soil loss equation(RUSLE)model to predict soil *** verified an association between the NDWI and soil erosion data using a correlation *** results revealed that the southern and northern regions of the study area experienced drought *** predicted an average annual soil erosion of approximately 58.11 t/(hm^(2)·a).Analysis of the association between the NDWI and soil erosion revealed a strong positive correlation,with a Pearson correlation coefficient of *** assumed that the slope length and steepness factor was the primary contributor to soil erosion in the study *** a result,these findings can help authorities plan effective measures to reduce the impacts of drought and soil erosion in the future.

Stroke is one of the cerebrovascular health disorders caused by a blockage of blood flow to the brain. Data from South East Asian Medical Information Center (SEAMIC) explain that the most significant stroke mortality occurred in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, and Thailand. There are several methods for diagnosing stroke, one of which is an electroencephalograph (EEG). EEG is one of the more widely used BCI methods due to its lower price, portability, ease of use, and high temporal resolution than other methods. Most EEG require signals from various places on the scalp to achieve good performance. However, using a large number of channels can degrade signal performance in the EEG. Spatial selection can be used for channel selection in the EEG stroke signal which can then be useful for evaluation of stroke therapy. Therefore, this study will select the optimized channel using the spatial selection method to see which channels are relevant to the EEG stroke signal. Also, using the Power Spectral Density extraction feature and Extreme Learning Machine classification. The L2-norm energy calculation method gets better results than other methods. This method can also select the active channel relevant to the stroke EEG signal. The results show that the spatial selection method can increase accuracy by 15 percent and optimize the system with 37.5 percent channel reductions. © 2022 IEEE.

The pandemic has brought many negative impacts on human life. One of the negative impacts is economic downturn of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) actors in Bangka Belitung Province. To solve this problem, a website-based marketplace platform called Yobagi was created. As we know, a new software product must have a good user experience. By having a good user experience means that the product has met the needs of its users. For this reason, an evaluation of the user experience is necessary. This study aims to measure the user experience of using Yobagi. The evaluation uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) tool, which consists of six scales: Attractiveness, Efficiency, Perspicuity, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. There were 40 respondents who were taken from the top of MSME actors. As the UX evaluation results, it is known that the final score of the six scales is above 0.8 and at the excellent level. This means that Yobagi users have a very good user experience in using Yobagi. In addition, Yobagi has met the criteria for good software by having an excellent user experience value. © 2022 IEEE.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Robots have become increasingly important in a variety of life domains as a result of the rapid advancement of technology. Additionally, robots are employed in education as teaching assistants in science, art, and language courses. This research aims to explore the potential of robotic systems as a multipurpose tool for increasing cultural awareness, language proficiency, and communicative competence in the GenAI era. Language games, conversation simulations, and real-time feedback mechanisms are just a few examples of interactive scenarios enabled by virtual robot systems or tutor robots that enable immersive language experiences that go beyond the limitations of conventional schooling. This research contributes knowledge that explores how AI can be used to personalize language teaching according to the needs and learning styles of each student in higher education. The total population of undergraduate students involved in this research was 350 for the 2023 academic year, with 24 students selected purposefully based on sample characteristics from this group who were exposed to using AI for one semester. The research method used is a mix method with quantitative analysis of the results of surveys and interviews with students who are known to have given positive responses and proposes a comprehensive strategy for using AI robot technology in EFL classrooms, which can significantly improve effective learning outcomes. The survey results also show that if educators have a solid understanding of the relationship between linguistic acquisition and technological advances, they will be better prepared to design engaging, individualized lessons that prepare their students to use the language effectively in real-world contexts. The robot-assisted language learning (RALL) approach used in this study, with the integration of robots in the classroom, has the potential to change the way people learn languages to make it more interesting, fun, and motivating, increase engagement

In the current digital era, virtual reality (VR) technology is rapidly expanding across various fields, including education and cultural preservation. This technology offers immersive opportunities to explore and experience architectural spaces, promising increased understanding and learning motivation. Despite being relatively new in Indonesia, the application of VR has shown significant potential for education and cultural preservation through the implementation of a 3D virtual tour in Kampung Adat Pulo Garut. Therefore, this research aimed to develop VR media to enhance users' spatial experience and preserve the cultural values of Kampung Adat Pulo Garut through interactive learning. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) through the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. The equipment used was LiDAR Scanner FJD Trion P1 Series, DJI Mavic Air 2S Drone, and Sony A6000 Camera. The method used included aerial and terrestrial mapping, 3D modeling, and the development of virtual environments through Unreal Engine. The developmental process included various stages, namely concept, design, material collection, compilation, testing, and distribution. The result showed an interactive 3D virtual tour of Kampung Adat Pulo Garut, called “Echoes of Tradition.” Unreal Engine was found to enable detailed visualization of traditional architecture and village environments with high accuracy and interactivity. The final product offered an immersive learning experience, enriching users' experience, and enabling digital preservation of cultural heritage. The next step, to get an overview of the research results, used a questionnaire as an instrument which was distributed to a total of 250 respondents. Furthermore, the potential implication of VR in education and cultural preservation was identified, guiding similar applications in the future. Microbially induced calcite precipitation (MICP) is an emerging geotechnical improvement technology that has received wide attention from researchers around the world. The applications of MICP in geotechnical field including soil improvement, surface resistance from erosion, coastal protection, and slope stabilization have been investigated by previous researchers. This paper presents a review on application of MICP for slope stabilization. Three subtopics were selected to be discussed: application of native bacteria, modified MICP methods, and field-scale studies. This review reveals that (1) MICP has the potential for slope stabilization;(2) native bacteria are ideal for use in MICP for application in slopes located in regions with variable cold climatic conditions;(3) to improve the effectiveness of MICP for slope stability, traditional MICP needs be modified;(4) MICP appears to have the potential to be one of the future landslide mitigation strategies since it works effectively in the field-scale test. Additionally, the recommended further researches in MICP for slope stabilization are: (1) study on the other types of native bacteria for diverse environmental condition is required;(2) to discover the best slope stabilization method, the combination of MICP and other traditional slope stabilization techniques should be investigated;(3) it is critical to investigate the effectiveness of the MICP technology for slope stabilization under various conditions in the field. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
