In today’s complex global environments, it is highly challenging to achieve effective healthcare management. The critical challenges faced by healthcare management are being met by the revolution of m-health where mobile cloud computing plays a major role. The taxonomy of mobile computing comprises operational aspects, end-user issues, and service quality and mobility management. The use of smartphone technologies and applications has become a highly significant approach to improving healthcare management. Mobile health services such as mobile pathology, mobile neurosurgery, cancer treatment, and behavioral/psychological disorders are gaining significance where smartphone applications are being used. Portability, flexibility, and convenience are major characteristics of mobile computing that have helped patients and doctors to develop better relationships through coordination and communication. The relationship between smartphone technologies and applications and healthcare management can be understood in several broad aspects. This article aims to analyze the current and future implications of these technologies on healthcare and disease management systems.

The problem of flooding in Central Vietnam in general and the lower Ba River in particular is one of the natural disasters that frequently threatens people's lives and socioeconomic development in the ***,climate change is becoming ever more prominent and hotter,making extreme natural disasters more unusual and *** this research,MIKE-FLOOD—a model that connects a 1-dimensional(1-D)MIKE 11 Hydrodynamics(HD)model with a 2-dimensional(2-D)MIKE 21 HD model—was used to set *** model was calculated for three floods:(1)flood in October 1993,(2)flood in November 2003,and(3)flood in November 2007;these are floods with high frequency and relatively large *** results show that the 1993 flood rose and receded *** flood peak inundated an area of 22,600 ha,accounting for 52%of the natural *** flooded areas deeper than 1,2,3,4,and 5m were 16500,11,000,7000,4200,and 2200 ha,*** the center of Tuy Hoa city,the flooded area at the time of maximum water level was almost 100%.

The potential for future energy crises is a problem the world is currently facing. Many countries are switching from fossil to renewable energy to prevent an energy crisis. One of the most developed renewable energy today is solar energy. Easy installation makes solar energy installation not only on a large scale but also on a home scale. Urban areas will be very suitable for building solar photovoltaic (PV) roofs due to minimal open areas. In installing rooftop solar PV, sound planning is needed to predict the energy potential that can be provided by solar energy on the rooftop of a building. Spatial modeling can be done to determine the energy potential and suitable location for rooftop solar PV installation. In building rooftop solar PV modeling, the level of detail of the building will affect the results of the model. The rooftop's shape and the building's height will affect the amount of solar radiation going into the building. However, the higher the level of detail of the building, the higher the cost and processing time will be. This study will review the differences in modeling the potential of rooftop solar PV using different levels of detail. This research will integrate solar radiation data from remote sensing to determine the energy potential of solar radiation and digital surface model data from photogrammetry to create a level of detail for buildings. Integration of solar radiation data and the level of detail of the building will use hillshade analysis. Hillshade analysis can review the shadow effect on the rooftop of a building which will be directly related to the potential of solar energy on the rooftop of the building. This study determines the energy potential on the rooftop of the building with different levels of detail, namely 0, 1, and actual shape, to determine the difference in energy potential in the three scenarios. This research is an approach to intelligent vehicles with a LoRa communication system, LoRaWAN compatible for Long-Range and Outdoor Communication, but in this paper, we will test the ability of LoRa to handle autonomous vehicles, a Blind-Adaptive Data method will be tried on vehicles systems. The system offered is when the vehicle is running, the sensor will send position data in real-time, the number of vehicles is four, and GPS data is sent alternately using the Blind Adaptive Data Rate principle to avoid data collisions, and when the GPS shows a certain position, the value of SF is ascertained, which affects the data rate and ToA, and the output given is RSSI on each car, speed of a car, power consumption of sensor nodes, signal power, SNR, Bit rate or data rate, and sensitivity. With the Blind ADR principle, it is ensured that there is no data collision between car position data that causes packet loss. © 2023 IEEE.

Planck's constant experiment has been carried out to determine the value of Planck's constant using the regression analysis method. The steps are carried out using the scientific process outlined in the practical work steps. The specification of the experimental equipment uses the Planck constant experimental set with 12v/35w tungsten halogen light, 15v output, +-0.2% accuracy, 220V power requirement, 0.5A fuse rating and red, yellow 1, yellow 2, and red color filters, green and blue. Experiments using the concept of the photoelectric effect phenomenon began by irradiating metallic materials with light using a filter. The wavelength (635, 570, 540, 500, 460) nm is the light filter variation. The wavelength that hits the metal material is selected by placing a light filter on the light propagation path toward the metal material. So the light that passes through the filter is only light with a certain wavelength. After the metal material is irradiated by light with a certain wavelength, then the stopping potential voltage measurement is carried out on the metal material irradiated by light. From the variation of the light filter used, it is possible to calculate Planck's constant using the regression method with the value obtained 6.26x1034. This value is very close to the actual Planck's constant value which is 6.62x1034 so an error value is obtained 4.23%. With 95.77% accuracy, Planck's constant value obtained from the calculation using the linear regression method can be said to be very close to the actual Planck's constant value. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Improper maintenance on a machine or system impacts to worsen mean time between failure (MTBF). Manual diagnostic procedures tend to extended downtime at the system breakdown. Machine learning techniques based on the internet of things (IoT) sensor data were proposed to make predictive maintenance to determine system condition, whether it needs to maintain or not. The working component initiates with attribute selection with a correlation ranking filter to rank the most necessary attribute(s) to system condition. In the sequential step, ensemble learning procedures were set to create a predictive maintenance model. Based on a numeric data experiment, wait found that six of wafer stick machine attributes impacting on system condition and a working evaluation on this proposed predictive maintenance model performed better with 95, 90% accuracy. © 2020 IEEE.

Cities are developing due to population growth, socio-economic structure changes, technology and spatial interaction with its surroundings. "Bagian Wilayah Kota (BWK) C"or so-called "urban zone C"of Bandar Lampung municipality comprising districts of Sukarame, Tanjung Senang, and Way Halim is currently growing both internally and externally due to the development of Trans-Sumatera highway and Institute Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA). The dynamics of development and activities have caused a growing physical urban space, affecting the changes of urban structure directly. The current development in BWK C has been considered as unmanageable and potentially caused some problems in spatial plan in the future. To prevent the chaotic of spatial plan in the future, this study aims to identify the changes of urban structure in BWK C of Bandar Lampung municipality due to the internal and external development of its area. This study benefits in providing comprehensive standpoints about the process of urban structure changes based on urban activities so that city government could gain a systematic discourse of urban development which advantages in policymaking for spatial development in Bandar Lampung municipality in the future. This study conducted several analytical methods ranging from comparative analysis, spatial analysis, and hierarchical centrality index analysis. For data collection, this study applied secondary data survey and field work observation, using data from 2010 to 2016. The findings of this study reveal that the physical development in BWK C is getting compacted as its morphology changed from ribbon shaped city to octopus shaped city. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Human activities have caused concerns over the contamination of trace elements in aquatic systems due to their toxicity, long-lasting nature, and ability to accumulate in living organisms. This study evaluated the spatial pattern, environmental hazard, and potential health hazard of 13 trace metals in water and sediment samples collected from the Johor River basin using multivariate statistical techniques in order to identify the impact of both natural and human-related factors on the presence of trace metals in the area. The increased levels of metals in Station S1 indicated a significant impact from municipal, domestic, and industrial waste. The Geo-accumulation Index (I_geo) values for pollution and ecological indices in the sediment of the Johor River Basin ranged from -9.44 to 6.27. The Pollution Load Index (PLI) values ranged from 0.05 to 0.18, and the Potential Ecological Risk Assessment (RI) values ranged from 2.15 to 11.18. These results indicate that the sediments in the Johor River Basin have a low risk of contamination from trace metals. The water's hazard quotient (HQ) had an average value of 0.0001, while the hazard index (HI) had an average value of 0.0003. It is important to increase stakeholders' understanding and concerns regarding the potential long-term human health and ecological implications associated with trace metals in Johor River water. The results of this study offer essential initial information for government entities to implement sustainable management strategies, reducing the likelihood of future trace metal contamination issues in the Johor River basin and similar regions. © 2024 European Regional Centre for Ecohydrology of the Polish Academy of Sciences

Traceability systems are a concern in the current food supply chain mainly due to food safety issues. Related traceability problem in the supply chain is the risk of changes in the information on coffee products presented on the consumer's side, thereby reducing their trust in information and customer loyalty on the product. This study aims to analyze the business process of the real-world situation in coffee commodity supply chains, generate a dataset from these observations, and to propose a traceability system design using the clustering approach. The methodology in this research consisted of field observation and desk study, multicollinearity analysis, and hierarchical cluster analysis and formulation. The results show that the activities occurring in the coffee commodity supply chain take place between 4 stakeholders, which is indicated by UML. The generated dataset is then compared in correlation so that four variables are selected to use as references in designing the traceability system. Finally, the clustering method shows 4 clusters, where every 2 clusters in 2 existing varieties. The resulting cluster has been able to interpret as much as 84.83% of the dataset tested. © 2020 IEEE.

Indonesian agroindustry is a crucial sector in food security. One of the agroindustries is the poultry which plays a role in providing animal protein. However, like other agroindustries in Indonesia, the poultry industry has so far faced stiff competition with the changing business situation. The rigid and static structures of the Indonesian poultry industry are reflected in bureaucracy, fear-based cultures, the inefficiency of functional silos, and aversion to change. Therefore, agility needs to be incorporated into the poultry industry. This study aims to identify and analyze the key challenges and enablers’ components and construct a structural interpretation model of the problems and enablers using Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM), real development, and expert opinions. The hierarchical structure of those factors in the usage of ISM is established, reflecting a logical linkage of the influencing element. The level of hierarchical structure also identifies the major challenges to attaining business agility: The difficulties of changing the culture of working and challenging to shift the mindset from the prior state to a more agile. Meanwhile, management response and knowledge agility are key enablers to achieve business agility. The results of this study are expected to be the input for further research, designing a conceptual model of business agility. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.
