Asymmetric group key agreement allows a group of users to negotiate a public encryption key that corresponds to several decryption keys, and each decryption key can only be computed by one group member. This novel notion ensures the confidentiality of communication among group members and allows any external entity to send messages to the group. However, the existing authenticated asymmetric group key agreement protocols are designed in identity-based cryptosystem or certificateless public key cryptosystem, which are not widely deployed. In this paper, we propose an efficient authenticated asymmetric group key agreement protocol. The protocol captures the security of secrecy, known-key security, key-compromise impersonation, unknown key-share and key control while being resistant to active attacks. The security of our protocol is reduced to the k-BDHE problem.

A hybrid active contour model with local Gaussian distribution fitting energy for image segmentation

Active contour models have been widely applied in image segmentation with promising results. However, many of them fail to segment images successfully due to intensity inhomogeneity. To address this problem, we propose a hybrid region-based active contour model which fully utilizes local intensity information. This model develops a localized active contour framework and incorporates a local Gaussian distribution fitting energy. In order to increase both the computational efficiency and stability of the proposed model, a multi-resolution strategy is employed and the active contour is evolved in a reinitialization-free way. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model is effective and efficient in segmenting images with intensity inhomogeneity, and outperforms several state-of-the-art algorithms. © 2015 by Binary Information Press.

In this paper, we propose to capture Action Unit (AU) relations existing in both qualitative knowledge and quantitative data through Credal Networks (CN). Each node of the CN represents an AU label, and the links and probability intervals capture the probabilistic dependencies among multiple AUs. The structure of CN is designed based on prior knowledge. The parameters of CN are learned from both knowledge and ground-truth AU labels. The AU preliminary estimations are obtained by an existing image-driven recognition method. With the learned credal network, we infer the true AU labels by combining the relationships among labels with the previous obtained estimations. Experimental results on the CK+ database and MMI database demonstrate that with complete AU labels, our CN model is slightly better than the Bayesian Network (BN) model, demonstrating that credal sets learned from data can capture uncertainty more reliably;With incomplete and error-prone AU annotations, our CN model outperforms the BN model, indicating that credal sets can successfully capture qualitative knowledge.

High-resolution multispectral (HRMS) images combine spatial and spectral information originating from panchromatic (PAN) and reduced-resolution multispectral (LRMS) images. Pansharpening performs well and is widely used to obtain HRMS images. However, most pansharpening approaches determine the ratio of PAN and LRMS images through direct interpolation, which may introduce artifacts and distort the color of the fused results. To address this issue, an unsupervised progressive pansharpening framework, MSBANet, is proposed, which adopts a multistage fusion strategy. Each stage contains an attention interactive extraction module (AIEM) and a multiscale bilateral fusion module (MBFM). The AIEM extracts spatial and spectral features from input images and captures the correlations between features. The MBFM can efficiently integrate information from the AIEM and improve MSBANet context awareness. We design a hybrid loss function that enhances the ability of the fusion network to store spectral and texture details. In qualitative and quantitative experimental studies on four datasets, MSBANet outperformed state-of-the-art pansharpening techniques. The code will be released. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of computer technology, Reverse engineering (RE) based on 3D data processing has developed greatly. The whole procedure of laser scanning color 3D data from the aspect of 3D data processing includes the pre-processing of point clouds and the surface reconstruction. This paper proposes improved point clouds data simplification algorithm in 3D data processing, it is the adjustment of simplification algorithm under the restriction of color boundary compared to the key simplification algorithms of the pre-processing for color 3D point clouds. The experiment result shows that the proposed algorithm is effective.

In this paper, the performance research on CPython's latest interpreter is presented, concluding that bytecode dispatching takes about 25 percent of total execution time on average. Based on this observation, a novel bytecode dispatching mechanism is proposed to reduce the time spent on this phase to a minimum. With this mechanism, the blocks associated with each kind of bytecodes are rewritten in hand-tuned assembly, their opcodes are renumbered, and their memory spaces are rescheduled. With these preparations, this new bytecode dispatching mechanism replaces the time-consuming memory reading operations with rapid operations on registers. This mechanism is implemented in CPython-3.3.0. Experiments on lots of benchmarks demonstrate its correctness and efficiency. The comparison between original CPython and optimized CPython shows that this new mechanism achieves about 8.5 percent performance improvement on average. For some particular benchmarks, the maximum improvement is up to 18 percentages.

A straightforward method to judge the completeness of a polymorphic gate set

Polymorphic circuits are a special kind of circuits which possess some different build-in functions and these functions are activated by environment parameters, like light and VDD. Some theories have been proposed to guide the design of polymorphic circuits, including the definition of complete polymorphic gate sets and algorithms to judge the completeness of a polymorphic gate set. However, the previous algorithms have to enumerate all the polymorphic signals for judging the completeness of a polymorphic gate set, and it is not easy to be conducted manually. In this paper, a straightforward method is proposed to judge the completeness of a polymorphic gate set. And the correctness of the straightforward method is proved theoretically. Some examples are given to show that the proposed method could be conducted step by step. Its actual computing cost is usually low, and it is suitable for manual operation. In the digital era,electronic medical record(EMR)has been a major way for hospitals to store patients’medical *** traditional centralized medical system and semi-trusted cloud storage are difficult to achieve dynamic balance between privacy protection and data *** storage capacity of blockchain is limited and single blockchain schemes have poor scalability and low *** address these issues,we propose a secure and efficient medical data storage and sharing scheme based on double *** our scheme,we encrypt the original EMR and store it in the *** storage blockchain stores the index of the complete EMR,and the shared blockchain stores the index of the shared part of the *** with different attributes can make requests to different blockchains to share different parts according to their own *** experiments,it was found that cloud storage combined with blockchain not only solved the problem of limited storage capacity of blockchain,but also greatly reduced the risk of leakage of the original *** Extraction Signature(CES)combined with the double blockchain technology realized the separation of the privacy part and the shared part of the original *** symmetric encryption technology combined with Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption(CP–ABE)not only ensures the safe storage of data in the cloud,but also achieves the consistency and convenience of data update,avoiding redundant backup of *** analysis and performance analysis verified the feasibility and effectiveness of our scheme.

Super-Broadband Rectifier With Wide-band Resistance Compression Network and Harmonic Cycling for RF-Harvesting

In this paper, a super-broadband (SBB) rectifier using a wideband resistance compression network (WRCN) and harmonic cycling is proposed, simulated, fabricated, measured and analyzed in detail for the harvesting of ambient Radio frequency (RF) energy. Meanwhile, impedance compression and matching are achieved to implement the SBB using WRCN and impedance operation networks. Additionally, harmonic cycling structure and bending technology are employed to improve the power conversion efficiency (PCE) and reduce the size, respectively. For demonstration, a prototype of the proposed rectifier is fabricated and measured. The measured results are in good accordance with the simulated ones, indicating that the rectifier can provide high efficiency and ultra-broadband rectification characteristics. A PCE over 50% is realized at 3.5 GHz with an input power range of 6–24 dBm, and a PCE of 75% is obtained at an input power of 18 dBm. The PCE is greater than 50% at 17 dBm with an input frequency of 2.7–4.6 GHz. This work can find significant applications in the development of RF-harvesting. © 2022, CC BY.

In this paper, a hybrid Genetic Algorithm (GA) is proposed to solve the Vehicle Routing Problems with Dynamic Requests (VRPDR). The proposed hybrid GA primarily involves the following parts. First, a greedy split is introduced, which is fit for the VRPDR. Second, the adjacent-exchange-based local search is proposed. Third, a novel mutation operator, named the insert mutation, is proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed hybrid GA is effective.
