In this paper, a planar inverted F antenna is designed for indoor distributed micro-base station of 5G communication. The overall size of the antenna is 16 mm × 15.3 mm × 10 mm, and the antenna works in the 3.5 - 3.6 GHz, which band number named n78. The antenna has the advantages of miniaturization, easy machining and convenient installation. The simulation results of ANSYS HFSS 2020 shows that in the working bandwidth range, when the central frequency of the designed antenna is 3.55 GHz, the S11 is -23.6 dB, and the VSWR is 1.1, which meets the requirements of impedance matching. In terms of directivity, the antenna coverage also meets the requirements of 5G micro-base station. © 2021 IEEE.

A planar, small size, high gain, low specific absorption rate (SAR) and circularly-polarized (CP) wearable antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna is fabricated on a substrate with a dielectric constant of 3.5 with a thickness of 0.5 mm and sized at 42×42 mm only. Both the simulation results show that the overlap bandwidth of impedance and axial ratio of the proposed antenna is 13.7% (5.15-5.91 GHz). To isolate the antenna against the influence of the human body, a artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) plane is added on the reverse side of the radiator. The AMC structure effectively isolates the human body from the radiation of the antenna and reduces the specific absorption rate (SAR) of it by more than 96.1% at 5.5 GHz, which improves the antenna gain and the peak gain reaches 5.09 dBi at 5.5 GHz. The wearable performance of the antenna was analyzed, and it is observed that it can sustain good performance even under human body loading. Beside, the antenna has a small size, which makes it ideal for wearable applications. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A broadband transmissive linear-to-circular polarization conversion metamaterial composed of 5-layer '-shaped units was designed, and it was placed directly above the ordinary linear polarization antenna so that the antenna can radiate circular polarization waves. The 3dB axial ratio bandwidth is 11.5GHz-14.5GHz, and the relative axial ratio bandwidth reaches 23%, which proves that the polarization conversion surface has good polarization conversion characteristics. © 2021 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

A K-band dual circularly polarized (CP) and multiple mode reconfigurable orbital angular momentum (OAM) hexagonal antenna array (HAA) is presented. The proposed HAA consists of twelve dual CP horn antenna elements. By controlling the port input phase of each horn antenna element, the OAM modes generated by the proposed HAA can be reconfigured between l = 0, ±1, ±2, and ±3 for both left-hand CP (LHCP) and right-hand CP (RHCP). Moreover, the LHCP and RHCP modes can operate simultaneously under the same radiation aperture. The simulated results verified the effectiveness of the HAA. © 2023 IEEE.

To accelerate the design of electromagnetic metasurfaces, a machine learning-based approach has been proposed, which has resulted in a automatic design of square tangential metasurface. When the scattering parameter (S-parameter) curve of the metasurface, centered between 3.5GHz and 3.8GHz, is provided, the network immediately returns its dimensional parameters. A dataset of the electromagnetic response curves of the metasurface is extracted using a joint Matlab-CST simulator, upon which a neural network comprised of convolutional and fully connected layers is constructed. The network's output dimension is 2, representing two actual dimensional parameters of the square tangential metasurface. After feeding the validation set into the network, it was observed that the network exhibited a high level of accuracy.

Investigation on the electromagnetic characteristics of muti-scale complex structures over a wide range of incident angle is carried outed in this paper. A new scheme based on compressed sensing (CS) theory is proposed and introduced into the method of moments (MOM). This technique need to form several new excitation sources that including various spatial information to obtain several measurements. With the help of proper sparse representation, induced currents of any incident angles can be calculated by reconstructed techniques. To demonstrate the efficiency and the accuracy of the proposed method, numerical simulations of the axial mode helical antenna with a cup ground is accomplished by the new scheme, and the pattern and RCS of the antennas are accurately reconstructed.

In this paper, a new compact bandpass filter using quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide (QMSIW) resonators and coaxial cavity is proposed. By applying the method of quarter-mode SIW and coaxial cavity, miniaturization is achieved. As the characteristic of electromagnetic field distribution in coaxial cavity, two transmission zeros obtained by source-load coupling are utilized to improve the selectivity and out-band rejection. The SIW filter is also shown to have a good minimum rating with easing to fabricate and works at 3.95 GHz with 3dB bandwidth of 300MHz. The simulated result shows that the insertion loss (IL) of this filter is 0.8dB.

In this paper, a method of increasing the band-width of a narrowband frequency selection circuit of a surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) RF band-pass filter (BPF) by using signal-interference technique is proposed. The bandwidth is increased by inserting SAW narrow-band BPF into the transversal filtering section (TFS) of the signal jamming filter while cascading two different transversal filters to increase bandwidth and filter selectivity. For practical verification, the circuit with a 916MHz commercial SAW filter chip shows a passband-width 8 times wider than the width of the embedded on-chip SAW BPF.

This paper designs a new type of wideband microstrip dual-polarized antenna based on the H-shaped slot aperture-coupled feed technology and two-line feed technology. The antenna uses a multi-layered antenna element, and a parasitic element is added in the upper patch element to achieve broadband characteristics. The H shaped coupling slot of the antenna element is placed vertically to increase the isolation of the two feed terminals. The simulated results indicate that the antenna unit operates in the frequency range of 11.09-12.61 GHz. The gain at the center frequency is 8.47 dB. When the return loss than -10 dB, the relative impedance bandwidth is 12.9%. The isolation of the polarization ports is above 38 dB.

The influence of the Charge Trapping Memory storage feature was researched by doping the substitutional impurity Al and introducing oxygen vacancy within *** studio and Vienna Ab-initio simulation Package were used to investigate the influence of doping Al on the formation of the oxygen vacancy in HfO as trapping *** the same time,the interaction energy of two defects under different distances was *** calculation results show that doping the substitutional impurity Al reduces the formation energy of oxygen vacancies in the HfO,and the reduced formation energy of the three-fold-coordinated O vacancy is larger than that of the four-fold-coordinated O *** having studied three different defect distances between substitutional impurity Al and three-fold-coordinated O vacancy,the results indicate that the system acquires the largest charge trapping energy,the most quantum states when the distance of the defects is 2.107?.As a conclusion,the data retention in the trapping layer of monoclinic HfO can be improved by doping the substitutional impurity *** work will provide a theoretical guidance for the performance improvement with respect to the data retention of Charge Trapping Memory.
