in the modern world of high-speed technologies, where every operation needs to be performed instantaneously and more efficiently, scientists and engineers have created a Bioinspired algorithm to solve the problems encountered in realworld activities. The Ant Colony optimisation (ACO) algorithm is one such solution that assists in solving the problems of robot path planning. in this work-in-progress article, we propose a new way of using the ACO algorithm which ensures solving the problems encountered in traditional ACO algorithms. This algorithm was tested on two environments to examine output efficiency and computational output time. The results show that the proposed ACO algorithm is completely efficient in small-scale environments and remarkably better results were observed on testing it in the bigger-scale environment. The evaluations prove that the ACO algorithm for path planning can provide rapid path planning with acceptable results and for future development can be integrated with the robot system to test it in any real-world scenarios by increasing the number of ants. © 2023 iEEE.

Numerous studies have demonstrated that the interaction between miRNAs and drugs plays a pivotal role in regulating gene expression and cellular function. Therefore, predicting these interactions is crucial for the development of novel drugs and personalized therapies. Existing methods for predicting miRNA-drug interactions often fail to leverage the full spectrum of molecular and biological features and overlook complex high-dimensional patterns. Deep non-negative matrix factorization (DNMF) addresses these limitations by extracting higher-level representations, thereby enhancing prediction accuracy and robustness. Building on this, this paper proposes a model called DNMDA. in this model, we integrate multiple similarity networks for both miRNAs and drugs and then extract their features through three key modules. Moreover, autoencoders are used to combine various feature sets, allowing for the capture of complementary information and enhancing the model's capacity for making precise and reliable predictions. The resulting features are consolidated into a unified feature vector for each miRNA-drug pair. Ultimately, these feature vectors and their associated labels are provided to the classifier for training. To verify the predictions, a five-fold cross-validation was conducted. The five-fold cross-validation demonstrated a clear advantage in DNMDA's metrics, underscoring its reliability in predicting potential miRNA-drug interactions. This claim is further supported by the predictive results section in the paper, offering concrete evidence of DNMDA's efficacy in this field. © 2024 iEEE.

With the advancements of ioT devices, many smart applications start to rule this era. in particular, smart cities has been adapted and realized by many countries around the world. in smart cities, vas amount of data is generated at every second. This vast data need a transmission medium which could be wireless standard. However, security is the main concern in such applications since the smart transmission always binds with anomalies. The existing anomaly detection systems need improvement in accuracy due to inefficient feature extraction and selection procedure. This paper proposes an accurate anomaly detection technique that built upon deep learning approach. We proposed a Combined Deep Q-Learning (CDQL) algorithm for anomaly detection. Priory, optimal features are selected by using Spider Monkey Optimizer (SMO). With the optimal features, CDQL detects anomalies accurately. in addition, the CDQL algorithm learns the environment in order to monitor the network data continuously. This continuous monitoring and optimum features helps in accuracy improvement up to 98%. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

A literature content analysis strategy was used to synthesize extant literature sources to comprehend and capture the approaches to the design, evaluation and modeling of user experience. From the analysis, two main methods were identified for the UX research. These paradigms are holism and reductionism. The holist approach stresses on sense making and interpretative approaches to user experience, leading to construction and reconstruction of users' quality perceptions about their experiences with technological artifacts. This paradigm is design based. Conversely, the reductionism approach is concerned with the deconstruction of users' experiences. This approach conceives experiences as a model that can be broken down into aspects and dimensions that facilitates understanding of user experience. The debate among researchers on these differing viewpoints conceived and drove this study. The findings of the research show that the two paradigms are insightful, rich and unique and can be independently used in UX research, nevertheless, as both approaches a limited and address the peculiar concerns of the two respective paradigms, this paper advocates and endorses the use of a mixed paradigm especially in longitudinal studies to amalgamate the rich components of both varying approaches, thus implying the interdependent use of the two paradigms in UX research. © 2024 iEEE.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a hereditary mental illness, and unaffected first-degree relative (UFDR) is also at high risk. This study constructed a framework based on traditional machine learning and deep learning methods to identify OCD and UFDR. Specifically, we propose Multiple Spatial Similarity-Aware Learning (MSSL) models to construct Brain Functional Connectivity Networks (BFCNs) and use Diffusion Structure-Aware Graph Convolutional Network (DSAGCN) for feature learning. Two regularization terms are added to the MSSL model, one is to limit the similarity of functional connectivity of adjacent brain regions, and the other is to constrain the similarity of signals in adjacent brain regions. in this strategy, redundant information can be removed while constructing the interrelationships of various brain regions, which can reflect the interrelationships between brain *** graph diffusion is introduced to the DSAGCN model, which can not only solve the edge noise problem caused by the graph structure constructed by the custom adjacency matrix but also enrich the node features by using the position information of the nodes on the reconstructed graph *** framework has been validated on our dataset collected from local hospitals, and the experimental results show that our proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art. © 2024 iEEE.

in computer vision, accurately identifying pedestrians is a crucial difficulty, especially in applications where safety is of the highest priority, such autonomous driving and urban planning. Deep learning has made progress, but challenges such changing conditions, barriers, and processing power requirements still exist. in this paper, we present an improved deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) designed with pedestrian identification in mind. improving accuracy in various settings while maximizing processing efficiency is our goal. We carefully prepare the data and create a novel DCNN architecture that can handle a variety of pedestrian appearances and urban surroundings by utilizing well-known datasets such as Penn-Fudan and PnPLO. Our model performs exceptionally well in terms of accuracy, speed, and durability, according to a thorough evaluation that compares it to recognized benchmarks. in addition to making important advances, our study has shown novel approaches to enhancing performance in challenging environments, such as the analysis of transfer learning and the deployment of real-time systems. This work paves the way for future developments in intelligent, self-governing systems and is a maj or leap forward in pedestrian detection technology.

This study examines decision-making in software re-engineering within businesses, focusing on the challenges and considerations involved. Financial constraints, time, and staff efforts are critical factors in these decisions. The study identifies difficulties faced by top-level management with legacy systems, existing systems, underused systems, and packaged software due to user resistance and customer dissatisfaction. The primary goal of the study is to assess the importance of software quality factors, especially from the users' perspective, in making re-engineering decisions. it uses the iSO 9126 Model to analyze quality elements in the case study software, aiming to provide guidance for deciding whether to proceed with re-engineering. The study explores functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability as factors influencing re-engineering decisions, based on the iSO 9126 model. To understand user interactions and program performance, the study used unstructured participant observation in the case study software, highlighting the challenges faced by top management due to user resistance. These findings were further confirmed through face-to-face interviews with software users and department employees, offering insights into their perspectives on software quality elements. The results reveal that, despite some flaws, the system has valuable features and capabilities. Most employees express a desire to undergo re-engineering to enhance service quality, align with iSO 9126 standards, and leverage the expertise of competent staff for re-engineering activities. © 2023 iEEE.

The research topic of Path planning is extremely challenging area of concentration within the field of mobile robots. However, path planning algorithms for mobile robot tasks are contingent upon the environment and its level of complexity. This paper analyzes four distinct path planning methods for simulated indoor environment. The proposed algorithms include conventional Ant Colony methods, Ant System (AS), Ant Colony System (ACS), as well as standard methods Dijkstra and AStar (A*). We analyzed and examined these algorithms by employing various metrics/maps with complexity. The results indicate that the traditional path planning algorithm Dijkstra and A* approaches surpass the other ant colony techniques in terms of both computation time and path distance.

COViD-19 affected our lives intensly. That state of affairs made humans helpless. They had been depressed and experienced loneliness. At that time many human beings were determined to play video games just to loosen up their minds. Many games changed into an additional source of revenue wherein during COViD-19 they were playing while earning money. With these advantages, there were also some poor effects was accrued. A number of players remained playing video games post COViD-19. The carried out survey is based on the social video games results on players' well-being and additionally on the effects of gamers' health and their sensible lifestyles. We are going to investigate the behavior of gamers engaged with video games during the COViD-19 lockdown and the video games affects on their well-being, the time they served in playing video games, and the consequential effect on their behavior and social and mental well-being. The results provide a start line for empirically grounded discussions on video games at some stage in the pandemic, their use, and potential outcomes. Different agegroups of players have been investigated. Most players are between 18 and 30 years. A number of the gamers during lock down played a few hours but most of players were males who spent most of their day playing video games. However, now the ratio of playing video games is reduced as examined with past circumstances. Roughly we can say that the condition as a whole is better, the reason why players enforced video games in their post COViD-19 practical life1. © 2023 iEEE.
