High reliance on autonomous systems necessitates efficient and reliable data exchange through Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication to have appropriate and stable network performance in dynamic vehicular environments. With heuristic approaches, Dijkstra's algorithm, and Deep Q-Networks (DQN), several methods are proposed for optimizing latency reduction, packet delivery rate improvement, and power efficiency in the direction of V2I communications. However, these approaches suffer from important challenges: low adaptability of the network to real-time dynamics, suboptimal resource usage, and difficulties in scalability towards complex large-scale networks. In this scenario, we propose a framework that incorporates a GNN inside autonomous systems for V2I communication to optimize performance. The GNN will process real-time graph features, including signal strength, packet loss, and mobility speed, as it dynamically changes in adaptation to the evolution of network behaviour and other functions. This work shows the superiority of the proposed GNN model for the efficiency of experimentally conducted simulations compared to the current models;it achieved latency reduced by up to 28%, 5-10% PDR, and 20% energy efficiency across the various scenarios with urban, rural, highway, and suburban networks. The results validate robustness and scalability for practical implementations by the proposed approach in real-world autonomous systems. Further development is possible with this framework: for example, the use of multi-agent reinforcement learning techniques within cooperative decision-making and the enhancement through blockchain-based security mechanisms to ensure the integrity of the data. © 2024 IEEE.

Remote correspondence is quickly taking the place of wired correspondence, posing new difficulties for Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). TCP is enhanced in a few ways to detect this issue. This paper addresses the protocol and display upgrade model for remote, specially designated computers over TCP. TCP is essentially a transport protocol created for web applications that are wired. However, the TCP misinterprets some conditions, such obstructions that slow down transmission and taint presentation quality, resulting in decreased throughput. This is because remote specially designated systems are unstable and vulnerable to unforeseen faults associated to geography. Because of poor connections and high congestion, TCP must be modified in order to prevent package loss. Accordingly, the evaluation of the recommended TCP presentation for a remote specially defined system is managed by this study. © 2024 IEEE.

Breast cancer poses a significant threat to women's health, being a leading cause of cancer-related mortality among female population. In recent years, machine learning has emerged as a promising approach in medical field, particularly in detection and classification tasks. However, existing algorithms often exhibit suboptimal accuracy, necessitating improved methodologies. This research presents a novel approach using a Modified Support Vector Machine (MSVM) for breast cancer classification into benign and malignant categories. Leveraging the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset (WBCD), preprocessing techniques are applied to enhance data quality. Principle Component Analysis (PCA) reduces dimensionality, while linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) extracts discriminative features crucial for classification. The proposed MSVM classifier achieves exceptional performance, with a classification accuracy of 99.42%, outperforming other existing methods such as Deep Convolutional Neural Networks and Fuzzy Rule-based Systems. These results highlight the efficacy of the MSVM approach in accurately distinguishing between benign and malignant breast cancer cases, showcasing its potential as a reliable tool for medical image analysis and cancer diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

Purpose-In wireless sensor networks,improving the network lifetime is considered as the prime objective that needs to be significantly addressed during data *** the traditional data aggregation techniques,cluster-based dominating set algorithms are identified as more effective in aggregating data through cluster ***,the existing cluster-based dominating set algorithms suffer from a major drawback of energy deficiency when a large number of communicating nodes need to collaborate for transferring the aggregated ***,due to this reason,the energy of each communicating node is gradually decreased and the network lifetime is also *** increase the lifetime of the network,the proposed algorithm uses two sets:Dominating set and hit ***/methodology/approach-The proposed algorithm uses two sets:Dominating set and hit *** dominating set constructs an unequal clustering,and the hit set minimizes the number of communicating nodes by selecting the optimized cluster head for transferring the aggregated data to the base *** simulation results also infer that the proposed optimized unequal clustering algorithm(OUCA)is greater in improving the network lifetime to a maximum amount of 22%than the existing cluster head selection approach considered for ***-In this paper,lifetime of the network is prolonged by constructing an unequal cluster using the dominating set and electing an optimized cluster head using hit *** dominator set chooses the dominator based on the remaining energy and its node degree of each *** optimized cluster head is chosen by the hit set to minimize the number of communicating nodes in the *** proposed algorithm effectively constructs the clusters with a minimum number of communicating nodes using the dominating and hit *** simulation result confirms that the proposed algorithm prolonging the lifetime of the network efficiently when compared with the existing algorithms.

Predicting brain age from MRI scans is crucial for understanding neurological development and aging-related disorders. Robust preprocessing methods and flexible model architectures are required because variations in image quality, resolution, and acquisition methodologies can impact deep learning performance. The improved Squeeze Net architecture shown in this work can accurately predict brain age from MRI scans. The approach combines a bilateral filtering procedure for preprocessing to enhance picture quality, and then an Improved Squeeze Net (Imp-Squeeze Net) model for precise evaluation of brain age. The model includes convolutional layers, fire modules, and global average pooling, ending with a dense layer that employs SoftMax activation. Notably, a novel Focal Huber Loss function is introduced to handle the complex data distributions and enhance predictive performance. Comparing the performance of the proposed model to CNN (0.155), GRU (0.151), Bi-LSTM (0.130), RNN (0.157), Bi-GRU (0.160), and LSTM (0.158), a significant reduction in prediction error is observed. When compared to conventional techniques, experimental results show higher accuracy and robustness, highlighting the method's promise in brain research and clinical diagnostics. © 2024 IEEE.

Machine learning (ML) models have been used in functional neuroimaging for wide-ranging tasks, ranging from disease diagnosis to disease prognosis. There have been successive functional connectivity-based ML studies focused on improving model performances for disease detection. An increasing number of such studies use their trained models to detect and evaluate salient features that could be potential biomarkers of these neuro-logical conditions. The evaluation of these salient features is often qualitative and limited to cross-referencing existing literature for similar findings. In this study, we present objective quantitative metrics to evaluate the robustness of these salient features. Building upon existing generic evaluation metrics, we propose metrics that capture topological properties known to be characteristic of brain functional connectomes. Using existing and newly proposed measures on a set of baselines and state-of-the-art graph neural networks (GNN) models, we found that when GNNExplainer is used with models that incorporate attention, the scores produced are relatively more robust than other combinations. On datasets of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention-deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), our proposed metrics highlighted that salient features identified in both disorders are highly involved in functional specialization, while salient ASD features expressed stronger functional integration than ADHD. We package these existing and novel metrics together in the RE-CONFIRM framework that holds promise to set the foundations for the quantitative evaluation of salient features detected by future studies. © 2024 IEEE.

The number of missing person cases has dramatically increased nowadays, leaving loved ones with a lot of unanswered questions. Police inquiries and public announcements are two regularly used traditional methods for locating missing persons, although they frequently fall short, especially over time. Artificial intelligence (AI) is gaining popularity and could be used to enhance the search process. This study offers a revolutionary approach for solving the unsolved cases of missing individuals by using AI-based facial matching and face reconstruction approaches. The proposed method successfully uses the ORL (Olivetti research Laboratory) Dataset's Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier to reach an outstanding accuracy of 93% by combining face landmarks and machine learning algorithms. Additionally, a 3D face reconstruction method based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) trained on the varied 300-W dataset achieves a high accuracy of 90%. These results demonstrate the potential of AI and deep learning models for improving missing person identification. The proposed approach offers a viable option that aids in providing closure to the impacted families, making a significant contribution to the field and reducing crimes in the future. © 2023 IEEE.

A key aspect of artificial intelligence is continual learning. The capacity of a model to incrementally learn from a new task and adapt to it without losing the previous knowledge. A fundamental challenge that comes to successful continual learning is catastrophic forgetting;while learning a new task the model forgets the previously learned tasks. Various approaches to mitigate forgetting and enhance continual learning have been discussed across benchmark datasets such as MNIST, CIFAR-10, and Permuted MNIST. we focus mainly on replay, regularization, and modular architecture-based methods to prevent forgetting. Regularization methods penalize the significant change in parameters during the learning of new tasks while maintaining crucial parameters of previously completed tasks. Replay-based methods store samples of earlier tasks in explicit memory or generate pseudo-samples with the help of generative models. Modular architecture-based methods partition the neural architecture into task-specific modules to prevent interference between tasks, to effectively address catastrophic forgetting. This paper presents a comparative study of the key continual learning methods that reduce catastrophic forgetting. The findings demonstrate the trade-offs between different methods. We examine the efficiency and effectiveness of each method and propose a hybrid technique to prevent catastrophic forgetting. Our comparative analysis emphasizes the significance of choosing the best method depending on the specific requirement of the learning environment, the task complexity, and resource constraints. © 2025 IEEE.
