An Intelligent System to Predict Diabetic Retinal Diseases Based on Diabetic Attributes

The most common illness among individuals and the general population in the medical field is diabetes. This is coupled with a careful diabetic retinal that has no signal. The historical record offers unrecoverable insight. To avoid a hallucinatory dispute at the time, early detection of retinal illness is necessary. Positively, the results of diabetic patients have been able to foretell the threat of diabetic-related eyeailments such as Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, and Diabetic Macular Edema.A diabetic retinal disease prediction exemplary have been created by via system learning rules, such as narrow neural network, bilayered neural network, wide neural network and trilayer neural network, in close proximity to the onset of the disease. The agricultural information system deals with massive amounts of data from heterogeneous sources. It helps the farmers gain accurate information by providing better insights. A significant issue in agricultural data is its unstructured form, which can be resolved through ontology - a novel framework known as AgriOntology is proposed to address this issue for the Agrovoc dataset. The data in the unstructured form is initially pre-processed through the Natural Language Processing approach to generate features for ontology construction. The BERT and Jaccard similarity are applied to establish a relationship between the features used to construct the Agri-Ontology. Post ontology construction, the BiGAN framework is used to analyze the performance. The performance of the constructed ontology is observed to have an accuracy of 94.64%, which is higher than the existing models. © 2025 IEEE.

Crop yield Prediction based on environmental, soil, water, and crop parameters has been an active area of research in agriculture. Many studies have shown that these parameters can have a significant impact on crop yields, and that accurate predictions of crop yields can be made by considering them together. Despite the progress made in crop yield prediction, several challenges still remain, such as the lack of high-quality and diverse data, the high cost of technology, and the lack of domain knowledge for certain crops and regions. Thus, Crop yield forecasting models can reasonably estimate yields, but better yield forecasting performance is still desirable. Thus, in order to enhance the accuracy of crop yield prediction in IoT, a novel optimization driven deep belief neural network model is developed in this study. IoT sensors can collect data on various environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, as well as crop parameters such as growth stage and leaf area index. These data can then be used to train a proposed deep learning-based model, namely an optimization driven deep belief neural network (DBNN) along with an effective crocodile optimization algorithm, to predict crop yields. To improve the performance of DBNN, adaptive crocodile optimization (ACO) algorithm is used. Using this algorithm, weight parameters of DBNN are chosen optimally. This study introduces an innovative deep learning methodology leveraging the U-Net framework for medical image segmentation and lesion detection in brain tumors. U-net architecture contains encoder and decoder blocks which in turn are capable of capturing and propagation of information of the features. In this paper, for brain tumor segmentation, a U-Net Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is employed, utilizing multimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data and skip connections for precise tumor localization and segmentation. Through comprehensive experiments, we show that our method outperforms traditional techniques and current CNN models for medical image segmentation and lesion detection in brain tumors. Moreover, the proposed method can perform the task with higher accuracy. This tailored U-Net architecture demonstrates the potential for advancing medical image analysis, enabling precise segmentation and lesion detection, ultimately leading to improved patient care and treatment outcomes. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Hybrid RMDL-CNN for speech recognition from unclear speech signal

ASR is an effectual approach, which converts human speech into computer actions or text format. It involves extracting and determining the noise feature, the audio model, and the language model. The extraction and determination of the noise feature is a crucial aspect of speech recognition, serving as both a process of information compression and signal deconvolution. ASR schemes are mostly employed in smart homes, smart appliances, and biometric schemes. Yet, traditional approaches offer very low performance because of a noisy environment. Moreover, local differences and accents negatively influence the ASR scheme execution during the conversion of the speech signals. This paper introduces a hybrid RMDL-CNN method to address these challenges. At first, the input of unclear speech is carried out by the dataset. Then, signal pre-processing is done by employing a Gaussian filter. After that, voice enhancement is accomplished by employing nonlinear spectral subtraction. Later, the speech word is segmented from the enhanced output based on the Attentional Encoder-Decoder approach and finally, the speech is recognized using the proposed RMDL-CNN. The RMDL-CNN method is devised by the combination of RMDL and CNN. Furthermore, the established RMDL-CNN is accessed for its efficiency based on several values of k-group value, as well as learning data. In addition, the introduced RMDL-CNN approach for speech recognition achieved better accuracy, PPV, as well as NPV of 0.909, 0.947, and 0.917 for dataset 1. Moreover, the RMDL-CNN has achieved the highest accuracy of 0.909, PPV of 0.926 and NPV of 0.888 for dataset 2. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

The prediction of wind speed is imperative nowadays due to the increased and effective generation of wind *** power is the clean,free and conservative renewable *** is necessary to predict the wind speed,to implement wind power *** paper proposes a new model,named WT-GWO-BPNN,by integrating Wavelet Transform(WT),Back Propagation Neural Network(BPNN)and GreyWolf Optimization(GWO).The wavelet transform is adopted to decompose the original time series data(wind speed)into approximation and detailed ***-BPNN is applied to predict the wind *** is used to optimize the parameters of back propagation neural network and to improve the convergence *** work uses wind power data of six months with 25,086 data points to test and verify the performance of the proposed *** proposed work,WT-GWO-BPNN,predicts the wind speed using a three-step procedure and provides better *** Absolute Error(MAE),Mean Squared Error(MSE),Mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and Root mean squared error(RMSE)are calculated to validate the performance of the proposed *** results demonstrate that the proposed model has better performance when compared to other methods in the literature.

Nowadays, health issues play a tremendous role in day-to-day life and the medical expenditure to get treatment becomes more difficult for the ordinary people. Health insurance has become a vital aspect of people's lives. In this massive community, to access healthcare services such as insurance policies, LIC, ICICI, HDFC ERGO, Star Healthcare are benefits for claiming an amount for their medical expenses. The dataset encompasses three categories, such as generalized data, hospitalized data and claim data. Each record in the dataset represents an individual’s health insurance charges along with corresponding demographic and health-related characteristics. In this paper, Machine Learning techniques are used to group the claim amount that has been adopted by the individuals based on the hospitalized expenditure and insurance charges paid by the individuals. In the health sector, machine learning techniques are used to forecast insurance claims by building predictive models from historical data on claims, patient demographics, treatment types, and results. By predicting future claims based on trends seen in the data, these models help insurance firms better manage risk and allocate resources. In case of a fresher to this concept, it feels challenging to understand whereas generating as a pattern can be more flexible to acquire knowledge about how much amount has been claimed. © 2025 IEEE.
