The two-level overlapping additive Schwarz method offers a robust and scalable preconditioner for various linear systems resulting from elliptic problems. One of the key to these properties is the construction of the coarse space used to solve a global coupling problem, which traditionally requires information about the underlying discretization. An algebraic formulation of the coarse space reduces the complexity of its assembly. Furthermore, well-chosen coarse basis functions within this space can better represent changes in the problem's properties. Herewe introduce an algebraic formulation of the multiscale finite element method (MsFEM) based on the algebraic multiscale solver (AMS) in the context of the two-level Schwarz method. We show how AMS is related to other energy-minimizing coarse spaces. Furthermore, we compare the AMS with other algebraic energy-minimizing spaces: the generalized Dryja-Smith-Widlund (GDSW), and the reduced dimension GDSW (RGDSW). Copyright © 2024, The Authors. This research presents a new key information extraction algorithm from shopping receipts. Specifically, we train semantic, visual and structural features through three deep learning methods, respectively, and formulate rule features according to the characteristics of shopping receipts. Then we propose a multi-class text classification algorithm based on multi-modal features using Bayesian deep learning. After post-processing the output of the classification algorithm, the key information we seek for can be obtained. Our algorithm was trained on a self-labeled Chinese shopping receipt dataset and compared with several baseline methods. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves optimal results on our Chinese receipt dataset. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Comprehending the dynamics of flood and landslide prediction in current and adjacent regions is crucial for the formulation and advancement of effective predictive models, conservation, and management techniques. Conventional forecasting techniques, typically dependent on statistical models and empirical data, may prove inadequate because of the intrinsic complexities and variability of environmental elements. The complex interaction of climatic conditions, hydrological processes, geological attributes, and topographical aspects complicates precise forecasting. The constraints of traditional methods highlight the pressing necessity for more advanced and efficient predictive instruments. Artificial intelligence, especially machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), presents a robust paradigm that utilizes sophisticated algorithms to examine extensive datasets, discern intricate patterns, and produce more precise and prompt predictions. This proposed ViT-DL model prediction ability can greatly boost catastrophe preparedness, mitigation strategies, and ultimately, preserve lives and reduce economic damages. This study will comprehensively examine contemporary research trends, emphasizing the methodology used, model efficacy, related problems, and potential future research avenues in AI-based flood and landslide prediction. The experimental results of our proposed model produces 96.6% of Accuracy and 96.31% of Precision, comparision shows our model outperforms the overall accuracy to conventions model techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper deals with the exploration of a system which acts on demand in case of emergency matter. To verify functionality, each component of the system must be regularly inspected with a specified inspection interval and tested to find latent failures. A failure-based preventive maintenance (PM) is considered, in context with the imperfect corrective maintenance model. This means that PM brings full renew which is realized after a beforehand setting the number of failures. If a failure occurs, it is detected during the first follow-up inspection and the reparation process starts. The imperfect corrective maintenance model is intended where each repair deteriorates the system life-time whose probability distribution is gradually altered through rising failure rate. Reliability mathematics for unavailability analysis is briefly demonstrated. The new renewal process model, including the failure-based PM, has been termed as a real ageing process. The imperfect corrective maintenance as well as increasing length of the inspection interval result in unwanted increase of system unavailability function which can be eliminated as well as optimized by the properly selected failure-based PM applied to all system components. If the PM is fixed due to cost, inspection intervals of system components can be optimized to keep the maximal value of the unavailability function in its original level. Sensitivity analysis applied to the length of the optimal inspection intervals with regard to gradually changing PM is demonstrated. This optimization process is demonstrated on a four-component system adopted from references.

In the era of big data,outsourcing massive data to a remote cloud server is a promising *** storage and computation services can reduce storage costs and computational ***,public cloud storage brings about new privacy and security concerns since the cloud servers can be shared by multiple ***-preserving feature extraction techniques are an effective solution to this *** the Rotation Invariant Local Binary Pattern(RILBP)has been widely used in various image processing fields,we propose a new privacy-preserving outsourcing computation of RILBP over encrypted images in this paper(called PPRILBP).To protect image content,original images are encrypted using block scrambling,pixel circular shift,and pixel diffusion when uploaded to the cloud *** is proved that RILBP features remain unchanged before and after ***,the server can directly extract RILBP features from encrypted *** and experiments confirm that the proposed scheme is secure and effective,and outperforms previous secure LBP feature computing methods.

With the evolution of social networks, the necessitate of providing information security methods becomes increasingly significant. Therefore, these methods should be studied and analyzed for presenting more secure and appropriate techniques. Since the images represent the most common and widely utilized visual formats, an optimized approach of image steganography based on algebraic matrix decomposition has been proposed in this paper. In particular, matrix decomposition methods represent a significant tool for increasing the security of the whole blent of digital steganographic approaches. In this paper, two stages of the Hessenberg matrix decomposition are implemented on the original image using modulo operation to show the impact of the matrix decomposition in the steganographic process. Additionally, a Chameleon Swarm optimization (CSO) algorithm is utilized to appoint the optimal positions in the embedding stage. The obtained results have been evaluated to show the difference between the utilization of decomposition or not. © 2022 IEEE.

File labeling techniques have a long history in analyzing the anthological trends in computational *** situation becomes worse in the case of files downloaded into systems from the ***,most users either have to change file names manually or leave a meaningless name of the files,which increases the time to search required files and results in redundancy and duplications of user ***,no significant work is done on automated file labeling during the organization of heterogeneous user files.A few attempts have been made in topic ***,one major drawback of current topic modeling approaches is better *** rely on specific language types and domain similarity of the *** this research,machine learning approaches have been employed to analyze and extract the information from heterogeneous corpus.A different file labeling technique has also been used to get the meaningful and`cohesive topic of the *** results show that the proposed methodology can generate relevant and context-sensitive names for heterogeneous data files and provide additional insight into automated file labeling in operating systems.

This paper presents the development process of a distributed embedded system, designed by the members of AGH Space Systems student team with the aim of predicting the optimal engine cut-off time mid-flight to precisely reach a target apogee, with the use of a Pitot tube, inertial measurement units and barometric data. The authors evaluate various analytical approaches to determine the predicted apogee based on the vehicle’s momentary altitude and vertical velocity. © 2024 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. Bremsstrahlung—the spontaneous emission of broadband radiation from free electrons that are deflected by atomic nuclei—contributes to the majority of X-rays emitted from X-ray tubes and used in applications ranging from medical imaging to semiconductor chip ***,we show that the bremsstrahlung intensity can be enhanced significantly—by more than three orders of magnitude—through shaping the electron wavefunction to periodically overlap with atoms in crystalline ***,we show how to shape the bremsstrahlung X-ray emission pattern into arbitrary angular emission profiles for purposes such as unidirectionality and ***,we find that these enhancements and shaped emission profiles cannot be attributed solely to the spatial overlap between the electron probability distribution and the atomic centers,as predicted by the paraxial and nonrecoil theory for free electron light *** work highlights an unprecedented regime of free electron light emission where electron waveshaping provides multi-dimensional control over practical radiation processes like *** results pave the way towards greater versatility in table-top X-ray sources and improved fundamental understanding of quantum electron-light interactions.

White-box simulation of flexible cold storage operation as a part of heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems of small- and medium-size datacenters is an important, but underinvestigated topic. In this work, an experimentally validated model of the phase-change material (PCM) cold storage and a Modelica system model of the data center are presented. The aim is provide a simulation tool that can be used by data centers and HVAC manufacturers to estimate the benefit of using sustainable technologies when designing innovative cooling solutions. © 2023 *** rights reserved.
