Object tracking is an important and challenging task in the field of computer vision. The objective of object tracking is to associate target objects in consecutive video frames. In this paper, we use SVM trained active basis model as a sparse deformable template for representing objects. Active basis model is a sparse model, which represents each image as a small number of bases selected from an over-complete Gabor dictionary. Given the bounding box of the object in the first frame, the model can be trained on the positive image patch inside the bounding box and negative images outside the bounding box. The tracking is achieved by detection of the object in the subsequent frames in the video by using the learned model. The model will be updated after a few of frames by using new positive and negative images, which are specified by the model. The experiment shows a good performance of the tracking method in some testing videos.

The output of charge sensitive amplifier(CSA) is a negative exponential signal with long decay time which will result in undershoot after C-R ***-zero cancellation(PZC) circuit is often applied to eliminate undershoot in many radiation ***,it is difficult to use a zero created by PZC circuit to cancel a pole in CSA output signal accurately because of the influences of electronic components inherent error and environmental factors.A novel recursive model for PZC circuit is presented based on Kirchhoff's Current Law(KCL) in this *** model is established by numerical differentiation algorithm between the input and the output *** simulation experiments for a negative exponential signal are carried out using Visual Basic for Application(VBA) program and a real x-ray signal is also *** results show that the recursive model can reduce the time constant of input signal and eliminate undershoot.

Using GMZ bentonite as a research object,adsorption behavior of Pu under the influence of liquid-solid ratio and ion concentration of CO,HCO,Ca,and Fe was studied by static adsorption *** adsorption experiments show that the sorption distribution ratio,K,of Pu in the bentonite decreases first and then increases with the reduction of the liquid-solid *** research on the adsorption of drfferent ion concentrations,the sorption distribution ratio,K,of Pu in the bentonite decreases when CO,HCO,Ca,and Fe concentration increases.

This paper studies the effect of applied tensile stress on the hysteresis loop and magnetic microstructure characteristics with domain wall (DW) behavior based on the magneto optical imaging. Both B-H curve and magnetic DW behavior of high permeability grain oriented (HGO) electrical steel sample are measured and validated to be highly correlated with the applied tensile stresses by using a longitudinal Magneto-Optical Kerr Effect microscopy. Specially, the optical flow (OF) algorithm is used to track the DW motion, and the velocity of DW movement is verified to be decreased against the increase of tensile stress based on the OF velocity field. The variation of hysteresis loop is also closely related with change of speed of DW motion. This study provides detailed understanding on the relationship between macro and micro magnetic properties of HGO steel under tensile stress.

At present most radiation dose meters have serious problems on aspects of energy response and angular *** order to improve the accuracy of dose measurements,a method of average angular response has been *** method can not only correct the energy response,but also the angular *** this method has been verified on NaI(Tl)(50 mm×50 mm)scintillation detectors,but has not been proved on other types and sizes of detectors,so in this paper the method is *** apply the method,first of all,five detectors are simulated by Geant4,and average angular response values are *** experiments are performed to get the count rates of full energy peak by standard point source of 137Cs,60Co and *** that,the dose values of five detectors are calculated with the method of average angular *** experimental results are *** results are divided into two groups to analyze the impact of detectors of various types and *** result of the first group shows that the method is appropriate for different types of detector to measure dose,with deviations of less than 5%compared with theoretical ***,when the detector's energy resolution is better and the count rate of the full energy peak is calculated more precisely,the measured dose can be obtained more *** the same time,the result of the second group illustrates that the method is also suited for different sizes of detectors,with deviations of less than 8%compared with theoretical values.

High-resolution boosted reconstruction of γ-ray spectra

Direct demodulation method(DDM) was applied to reconstruct γ-ray spectra. Boosted Richardson-Lucy iteration was introduced into DDM. Monte Carlo method(here GEANT 4) was proposed to calibrate response function and establish response matrix. First, gauss function was regarded as total energy peak. Spectra line was simulated with nine gauss functions. And afterwards DDM was applied to reconstruct the simulated spectra line and determine peak positions and areas. Compared with original spectra, for case that peak position interval was about 1/3 full width half maximum(FWHM), the error of rebuilding peak position was 2 channels. The rest of peaks could be searched accurately. The relative errors of all peaks' area were less than 4%. Then, three key factors, including noise, background, response matrix, were discussed. Finally, DDM was applied to calibrate the field NaI gamma spectrometer. The errors of U, Th, K were less than 5%. Comprehensive studies have shown that it is feasible to reconstruct gamma-ray spectra with DDM. DDM can significantly pseudo-improve energy resolution of gamma spectrometer, effectively decompose doublets whose peak potential interval is1/3 FHWM, and accurately search peak and calculate areas. DDM can restrain noise strongly but is greatly influenced by background. And DDM can improve the accuracy of qualitative and quantitative analysis in combination with the conventional spectrum analysis method.

Stainless steel is widely used in nuclear plant. The stainless steel weld (SSW) defects are threat for reliability of a structure. To prevent these failures, eddy current pulsed thermography (ECPT) is proposed for defects detection, which indicates defects by hot spot caused by high resistivity of defects. A series of verified experiments are conducted to detect various SSW defects. The independent component analysis (ICA) is also utilized to remove the influence of weld inhomogeneity and enhance the defect information.

Radon is considered to be one of the most promising gases to predicting the earthquake. The water radon concentration is regular to monitoring indicator. The research on the formation of the earthquake radon anomalies (ERA) will produce great academic value and economic benefits. The ERA in slope-type can be seemed as a response of underground water radon anomalies in the progress of tensile stress accumulating.

Tunnel drilling rig is one of the main equipment of underground drilling which has been used in many underground constructions. Power head is a major mechanism of power transmission system and its performance has an impact on the performance of tunnel drilling rig. There are various kinds of driving schemes at present. It is important that how to choose the driving scheme with different requirements of function about tunnel drilling. In this paper, according to four kinds of driving schemes about tunnel drilling rig's power head in fashion, present a method to solve this problem with fuzzy pattern recognition theory about many indicators. At last, the results show an effective conclusion of driving scheme about tunnel drilling. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
