The classification accuracy and efficiency of multiclass SVMs are largely dependent on the SVM combination strategy in analog circuits fault diagnosis. An optimized SVM extension strategy is presented in this paper, which uses minimum spanning tree (MST) algorithm to simplify the SVM structure and decrease the classification errors. By taking the separability measure of fault classes as edge weight of undirected graph extracted from feature space, the tree nodes are generated by bottom-top method, which represents sub-class partition with clustering characteristic. Finally, hierarchical multiclass SVMs are constructed according to the structure of MST obtained. The MST-SVM classifier is expected to improve the diagnosis accuracy because the fault classes with larger margin are preferentially separated. The experimental results on a high-pass filter circuit prove that the MST-SVM method outperforms other conventional SVM approaches in veracity and efficiency of fault diagnosis.

This paper analyzes characteristics of CDMA2000 reverse link HPSK modulation pattern, establishes the model of mobile station transmitted signals and observation station received signal and deduces flow of capture using R-PICH. In order to analyze quantitatively the influence to capture performance of detection threshold, integration time, signal-to-interference ratio and vestigial carrier, in the Neyman-Pearso criterion, the functional relationship between false-alarm probability and detection probability and the computational formula, are deduced, which provides theoretical support for optimal design of parameters. Aim at the impact of inserted forward power control group and vestigial carrier, the solution of short-term coherent integration associating with long-term incoherent accumulate is proposed, and the calculation method of capture performance in this mode is deduced. Simulation results show that the scheme can achieve stable capture toward mobile station under low SNR and effectively promote capture performance.

Spatial data dynamic balancing distribution method based on the minimum spatial proximity for parallel spatial database

Spatial data balancing distribution can evidently improve the performance of parallel spatial database in shared nothing parallel architecture. Considering spatial locality and unstructured variable length characteristics of spatial data, this paper proposes a dynamic spatial data balancing distribution method under shared nothing parallel database environment. By using Hilbert ordering code to keep spatial locality relationship between spatial objects, the presented method can fulfill spatial data static balancing distribution status, which depends on hierarchically decomposing Hilbert space-filling curve codeto allocate approximately even spatial data volume to parallel nodes in distributed network. Then spatial proximity index is introduced to resolve spatial data unbalancing problem caused by spatial database dynamic updating. Through moving spatial data fragments to goal node which is the minimum spatial proximity with data moving out node, the spatial database redistributing strategy can attain dynamic data balance among all network parallel nodes. Our experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve parallel performance deterioration resulted from spatial data unbalancing and achieve spatial data dynamic balancing distribution in parallel spatial database. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

The node localization is one of the key technologies in most applications of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), moreover the error of distance measurements to some extent affected the nodes localization's precision. Aiming at the influence of RF signal by various disturbing, which lead to ranging imprecise, this paper provided an improved limiting the average filtering algorithm (ILAFA), calibrated range measurement between nodes and optimization of beacon node in sensor network, then localizing nodes by using Weighted Least Square Estimates(WLSE). Experiments and simulations show that this algorithm improves the accuracy of estimates of distance and yields better performance than traditional RSSI trilateral algorithm in the same conditions.

Feature selection techniques have become an apparent need for diagnostic methods such as a least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM). Most researchers use wavelet transform coefficients of the time-domain transient response data obtained from filtered analog circuits as features to train a LS-SVM classifier to diagnose faults. But wavelet coefficient features have certain disadvantages such as no physical meanings. Thus, in this paper, two new feature vectors with clearly defined meanings based on a time-domain response curve and a frequency response curve of a filter are proposed, respectively. In addition, a statistical property feature vector which represents global properties of the time-domain response curve or the frequency response curve is proposed. The results from the simulation data and real data for a biquad filter showed the following: (1) these proposed conventional time-domain and frequency features, which are already familiar to designers of filtered analog circuits, have good diagnostic accuracy-all above 91% for the example circuit; (2) the best accuracies using the proposed statistical property feature vector are 100% for time-domain simulation data, and for both real experiment data ; (3) the diagnostic accuracy using the proposed combined feature vector is more accurate than conventional feature vectors; (4) an LS-SVM can be used to diagnose faults in a real analog circuit that only has a few fault samples.

In recent years, the formal verification of Web service compositions is gradually becoming a hot research area. As a mainstream technique for formal verification, model checking is able to not only overcome the shortcoming of traditional software test techniques that they cannot generate the complete set of test cases, but also automatizes the verification process. In this paper, the authors propose and implement an epistemic model checking approach for the verification of Web service compositions by modeling them as multi-agent systems. After analyzing the BPEL control flow, the authors first propose a formal model for the BPEL activities and give the semantics of the implementation of the BPEL activities. By taking the so-call transition seven-tuple as the intermediate form, the authors further develop two automatic transform algorithms, one converts the BPEL process to the set of seven-tuples and the other converts this set of seven-tuples to the input language of MCTK (a model checker for multi-agent systems developed by the authors), such that can finally implement the verification by MCTK. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithms can effectively verify not only the temporal logical specifications, but also the temporal epistemic logical specifications, which are proper to multi-agent systems.
