The study focuses on the reliability and lifespan of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs), which play a vital role in renewable energy power generation systems. To assess the performance of IGBT-based power devices, a power cycle test platform is developed. This platform incorporates a single-phase inverter bridge circuit with Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) control technology. By simulating real-world operating conditions across various application scenarios, the platform provides evaluation parameters of IGBTs' thermal characteristics and lifespan, offering data models to analyze their service life. The research covers multiple aspects, including the design of main circuit parameters, current closed-loop control design and hardware circuit test. Additionally, a semi-physical simulation platform is designed to validate the research findings by reproducing working conditions and measuring the junction temperature. © 2023 IEEE.

This is a prototype product jointly designed and manufactured by chengdu Technological university and chengdu China nuclear Haichuan nuclear technology Co., Ltd., etc. which is used for on-site remote acquisition, processing and storage of seismic signal data. This paper introduces the specific design, mathematical algorithm and functional components of the prototype product to support the signal processing of common seismic acceleration sensors. The function and performance demonstration of the prototype product has been successfully carried out in the laboratory. Its design features are technologies that adapt to the current actual needs described in this document. Therefore, many of its functions may be beneficial to the development and application of other similar products. It is expected that the seismic acceleration recorder will serve as a development centre to promote and strengthen the further development of upstream and downstream related technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the difficult problem of online estimation of the state of energy (SOE) for decommissioned power lithium-ion batteries, an estimation method based on an adaptive forgetting factor recursive least squares-extended Kalman filter (AFFRLS-EKF) algorithm is proposed. The AFFRLS-EKF algorithm uses fuzzy logic to add a forgetting factor based on the traditional recursive least squares algorithm so that the online parameter identification can reflect the model parameters in a more real-time manner. A second-order RC equivalent circuit model is constructed based on the dynamic characteristics of decommissioned power lithium-ion batteries, which can more accurately represent the electrochemical characteristics of the batteries. The proposed algorithms MAE, MAPE, RMSE, and ME are improved by 1.15%, 3.698%, 1.027%, and 1.64% respectively. The estimation accuracy and robustness of the algorithm are verified. ©2023 IEEE.

With the further research of PLC products, the application scope of PLC has expanded from the traditional simple industrial control field to the scope of process control, motion control and digital control. Based on the system composition and working principle of remote monitoring software, this paper analyzes the functional and non functional requirements of the software, designs the overall architecture of PLC monitoring software, and gives the communication scheme and development environment of the monitoring software. In order to ensure the stable and safe operation of PLC equipment, improve the ability of efficient decision-making and debugging of equipment failures, and reduce the impact and risk of failures, it is of great significance to design and develop a reliable and stable PLC remote monitoring software with perfect performance. Combined with the current computer technology, network and serial communication technology, the remote monitoring software for PLC equipment is designed and developed, which conforms to the requirements of equipment manufacturers and users for equipment monitoring. © 2023 ACM.

Deep learning applications for medical image classification have shown remarkable promise, particularly incorporating attention-based neural networks. This is particularly relevant in medical imaging, where the integration of Artificial Intelligence assists with various imaging tasks, including classification, segmentation, and detection. Deep learning is revolutionizing medical research and playing a significant role in advancing personalized clinical treatment. However, the lack of interpretability in these models presents a significant obstacle to their adoption in clinical practice. Therefore, there is a growing need for a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence systems and their internal mechanisms, capabilities, and limitations, which is the focus of the field of explainable AI. This study proposes a novel attention-based explainable deep learning framework for medical image classification tasks, including Covid-19, breast cancer (BreakHis), lung cancer (LC2500), and Retinal optical coherence tomography (OCT). The proposed framework recorded overall accuracies of 98% (Covid-19 Radiography), 95% (BreakHis), 99.8% (LC2500), and 95%(OCT). For visual analysis of the outcomes, we employ and use the LIME, SHAP, and ELI-5 to analyze the achieved results. The study's primary goal is to bridge the gap between the high performance achieved by attention-based models and the necessity for transparency and interpretability in medical image diagnostics. © 2023 IEEE.

With the expansion of the nuclear energy scale and the wide application of non-power nuclear technology in China, the online ? energy spectrum measurement of inland storage water bodies has become an important monitoring technology to ensure public radiation safety. However, the change in the water body environment seriously affects the accuracy of online ? energy spectrum measurement results in the water body. In this study, the suspended particles in water are studied through Monte Carlo simulation and physical experiments, and the effects of non-radioactive suspended particles and radioactive suspended particles on the corresponding detection efficiency of radionuclides are analyzed. The results show that the non-radioactive suspended particles have little effect on the detection efficiency of the water body online ? energy spectrum measurement system in a certain turbidity range (under normal environment), and there is no need for turbidity correction. For radioactive suspended particles, the interference of radioactive suspended particles on the measurement results of 40K, 238U, and 226Ra gradually increases with the increase of water body turbidity. At the same time, a correction method for the influence of water body turbidity of radioactive suspended particulate matter is proposed based on the linear relationship between turbidity and nuclide content in suspended particulate matter. Using the turbidity activity concentration correction to treat 40K nuclides, the relative error of the correction value is less than 1.6%, which realizes the correction of the influence of water turbidity, and further improves the online accuracy of the water body online ? energy spectrum measurement system. © 2022 IEEE.

In real life, many valuable products and highvalue important products are transported in long distances. Shocks and vibrations are caused during transportation, loading and unloading for various reasons. Any shock and vibration exceeding the regulations may cause damage to the transported products. So, it is necessary to monitor and analyze these data of shocks and vibrations scientifically, while considering that some transportation conditions have special requirements for installation space and transportation time. Therefore, an ultra-thin and long-lasting monitoring system has been developed based on MEMS accelerometer technology to measure shocks and vibrations. After series of independent tests and calibration tests conducted by a third party on the product, the results show that it can record and store the threeaxis acceleration, temperature, humidity, pressure, time and other parameters of the transportation process in real time, and complete the preliminary assessment of the transportation status of high-value products. Then engineers can conduct professional analysis of the data to obtain scientific transportation monitoring reports, and provide scientific basis for taking safety prevention and treatment measures for subsequent transportation. © 2023 IEEE.

High entropy alloys (HEAs) are considered as potential accident tolerant fuel (ATF) coatings due to their excellent properties. However, there is still a lack of understanding about the effects of irradiation on the steam oxidation behavior, which hinders the design of advanced ATF HEAs coatings. In the current work, the steam oxidation behavior of Au ions irradiated AlCrNbTiZr HEA coatings was investigated. It is found that irradiation changes the high-temperature steam oxidation behavior of the material primarily by enhancing elemental diffusion. Irradiation accelerated oxidation by increasing the diffusion rate and depth of oxygen (O). Irradiation optimized the phase composition of the surface oxide layer by enhancing outward diffusion of Ti, thereby releasing releases the growth stress of oxides and avoids cracking and peeling of the surface oxide layer. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.

This research focuses on addressing the fault-tolerant control (FTC) issue in the context of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models applied to unmanned marine vehicles (UMVs) with saturation phenomenon. Firstly, considering the saturation and faults of the thrusters, the corresponding T-S fuzzy models for UMV s are established. a novel strategy for integral sliding mode control (ISM C) is developed to address the impact of thruster faults, saturation and ocean disturbances. In contrast to conventional integral sliding mode approaches, this study simultaneously integrates thruster saturation and fault estimation information to construct the sliding surface, thereby reducing conservatism. Ultimately, the comparative simulations have show-cased the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2024 Asian Control Association.

B3+-enhanced zinc aluminate microwave dielectric ceramics for thermally matched electronic packages with GaAs semiconductors

To ensure the reliability of integrated circuits, ceramic packaging materials need to combine microwave dielectric and thermal expansion properties that match those of semiconductors. Here, novel ZnAl2-xBxO4 ceramics are developed by solid-state sintering to meet the basic needs of electronic packaging. The B3+ can effectively improve the microstructure, density, and microwave dielectric properties of ZnAl2O4 ceramic. The ZnAl1.96B0.04O4 ceramic sintered at 1450 °C has a high relative density (∼96.4 %), uniformly distributed grains (average grain size = 2.98 μm), and excellent microwave dielectric properties (Εr = 8.3, Q × f = 68586 GHz, and τf = −46.5 ppm/°C). More importantly, the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE = 7.21 ppm/°C) of the ZnAl1.96B0.04O4 ceramic can be nearly matched to GaAs semiconductors (CTEGaAs = 6.97 ppm/°C). The linearities of the thermal expansion curves of ZnAl2-xBxO4 ceramics are effectively improved. This ceramic has great potential for application in the electronic packaging of GaAs semiconductor devices. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.
