The primary task of establishing an intelligent energy network is to achieve the intelligent measurement of energy sources such as water, electricity, and natural gas, etc. Among them, significant progress has been made in the intelligent measurement of electricity and water, but the intelligent measurement of natural gas is still an urgent technical problem to be solved. At present, the actually used gas flow meters in the market are still traditional mechanical gas meters, which require manually recording gas meter data in each household. The data cannot be connected to the internet and cannot collect instantaneous flow values in real time, which is not conducive to real-time peak shaving of the energy network and compatibility with national intelligent energy network projects. The MEMS gas flow sensor studied in this article has the advantages of small size, light weight, low power consumption, high reliability, high sensitivity, and easy integration, which is a highly promising technical means to solve the intelligent measurement of natural gas. © 2023 SPIE.

This paper designs a hierarchical control system to improve control performance in a multi-terminal high voltage direct current based on the voltage source converter (VSC-MTDC) transmission system. In this control scheme, the primary control layer employs droop control, while the secondary control layer has developed optimal power flow control (OPF) for maintaining the variation of DC voltage and regulating the active power, and simultaneously minimizing power loss. In the event of a power disturbance or a change in power generation or consumption in the DC system, based on OPF results a new stable droop operating mode is established to stabilize DC voltage variation and regulate active power in the network. A ±400 kV four-terminal VSC-MTDC test network has been developed by using PSCAD and MATLAB simulation tools to assess the proposed control scheme. The primary controller is designed in PSCAD, and the secondary optimum control technique is applied in MATLAB. The results of steady-state and transient operating modes demonstrate that the planned control technique can achieve DC voltage regulation and keep active power, and minimize the power losses in the MTDC system. © 2022 IEEE.

Climate change is a global challenge facing humans and climate action can urgently address climate change and its impacts. With the purpose of building a clear theoretical framework for the research field of climate action and to gain a deeper understanding, this paper conducts a bibliometric analysis. A total of 20,897 articles from 2000 to the present were selected from the WoS data source, and 3,000 articles with strong relevance were screened out according to their relevance. These articles were analyzed using VOSviewer and CiteSpace with the targets of publication growth trends and categories, co-authorship analysis, national and regional cooperation, organization cooperation, co-citation journals, citations, and keywords. Subsequently, knowledge graph for climate action is built, emerging trends is analyzed, and clear theoretical framework is established. The research result provides effective, substantial and forward-looking recommendations for the sustainable development of climate action. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

As an essential maritime relay station, the allocation of a limited number of Aerial Base Stations (ABSs) to meet the communication needs of unmanned surface equipments has emerged a vital issue. This paper investigates the selection of formation centers for time-varying formation control of nonlinear Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) assisted by ABSs. First, considering the Laplacian matrix among the leader ABSs and follower USVs, a communication volume-based and position-dependent algorithm is developed to determine the assigned ABSs for each USV. Next, leveraging fuzzy approximators, a fuzzy time-varying formation control protocol for the USVs is proposed, with the assigned ABS serving as the formation center. Furthermore, based on Lyapunov stability theory, it is demonstrated that all USVs successfully achieve the predefined time-varying formation structure while rotating around the selected ABS. Finally, a numerical simulation is provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results. © 2024 IEEE.

Following the reconstruction of the TEXT tokamak at Huazhong university of Science and technology in China, renamed as J-TEXT, a plethora of experimental and theoretical investigations has been conducted to elucidate the intricacies of turbulent transport within the tokamak configuration. These endeavors encompass not only the J-TEXT device's experimental advancements but also delve into critical issues pertinent to the optimization of future fusion devices and reactors. The research includes topics on the suppression of turbulence, flow drive and damping, density limit, non-local transport, intrinsic toroidal flow, turbulence and flow with magnetic islands, turbulent transport in the stochastic layer, and turbulence and zonal flow with energetic particles or helium ash. Several important achievements have been made in the last few years, which will be further elaborated upon in this comprehensive review.

In image segmentation for medical image analysis, effective upsampling is crucial for recovering spatial information lost during downsampling. This challenge becomes more pronounced when dealing with diverse medical image modalities, which can significantly impact model performance. Plain and standard skip connections, widely used in most models, often fall short of maintaining high segmentation accuracy across different modalities, because essential spatial information transferred from the encoder to the decoder is lost. Inspired by these limitations, the Attention-Embedded Deep UNet (ATEDU-Net) is presented here, an innovative framework designed and tested on diverse medical image modalities, including X-ray, breast ultrasound, and retinal fundus images. ATEDU-Net features a unique architecture that combines progressive context refinement modules (PCRM) and global context modules (GCM) within a U-shaped network structure with Convgroup blocks which facilitate the integration of convolutional operations. This allows ATEDU-Net to autonomously capture rich spatial details and crucial contextual information from input images. The GCM captures essential contextual information for informed decision-making, while the PCRM enhances feature attention, resulting in precise and robust segmentation. The experimentation and analysis demonstrate that ATEDU-Net promises to be a powerful tool for medical professionals, aiding in the early detection of chest-related diseases, accurate localization of breast tumors, and early identification of eye diseases. This, in turn, contributes significantly to the formulation of optimal therapeutic strategies, enhancing patient care and outcomes. The versatility of ATEDU-Net is further highlighted by its ability to analyze medical images across various modalities, making it well-suited for the complex task of medical image analysis in diverse clinical scenarios. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

The study explores the impact of neutrons with different energies on laser simulation of silicon bipolar junction transistors (Si BJTs) under transient synergistic damage. By simulating the energy deposition distribution and transient current response of low-energy and high-energy photons at different neutron energies (ranging from 1 e V to 2 MeV), the following results are revealed: For high-energy neutron surroundings (energy > 100 keV), low-energy photons can effectively simulate high-energy photons to cause transient synergistic damage effects with neutrons. In contrast, for low-energy neutron surroundings (energy < 100 keV), the energy deposition distributions of low-energy and high-energy photons interacting with neutrons differ significantly. In other words, laser simulation techniques are suitable for studying transient synergistic damage of Si BJTs in high-energy neutron surroundings but have limitations in low-energy neutron surroundings. Therefore, the influence of neutron energy should be considered when applying laser simulation techniques to study transient synergistic damage.

In this research, the closing arc and the bouncing arc are studied with transient MHD model. A transient self-consistent model is established using the dynamic meshing technology. The simulation results show that the ion density decreases significantly with the expansion of the arc column. As a result, the energy flux from the arc to the anode center decreases gradually as a power function. Since the energy flux is very high at the arc ignition, the anode temperature increases significantly at first. Then the maximum anode temperature begins to fall due to the decrease of the maximum energy flux.

The non-contact strain sensor based on the single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) photoluminescence effect has a great potential that attracted extensive research from both domestic and international scholars. In order to research the non-contact strain sensor, the current paper proposed a fluorescence excitation and acquisition system platform for SWCNT strain sensors, and designed the structures of its optical components. The design, installation, and debugging of this system are conducted. Results show that the fluorescence excitation and acquisition system established in this paper is a suitable platform for SWCNT optical full field strain measurement. Based on this system, the fluorescence excitation and acquisition of the SWCNT film are simulated and analyzed by using OpticStudio software. Simulation results show that the fluorescence intensity is in partial positively correlated with the excitation light intensity, and the light spot diameter could be controlled within 0.1mm. The light spot scanning resolution of the SWNT film achieved the expected effect. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent advancements in natural language processing have given rise to numerous pre-training language models in question-answering ***,with the constant evolution of algorithms,data,and computing power,the increasing size and complexity of these models have led to increased training costs and reduced *** study aims to minimize the inference time of such models while maintaining computational *** also proposes a novel Distillation model for PAL-BERT(DPAL-BERT),specifically,employs knowledge distillation,using the PAL-BERT model as the teacher model to train two student models:DPAL-BERT-Bi and *** research enhances the dataset through techniques such as masking,replacement,and n-gram sampling to optimize knowledge *** experimental results showed that the distilled models greatly outperform models trained from *** addition,although the distilled models exhibit a slight decrease in performance compared to PAL-BERT,they significantly reduce inference time to just 0.25%of the *** demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach in balancing model performance and efficiency.
