Integrated fault estimation and fault-tolerant control for a flexible regional aircraft

The article focuses on the design and application of an active reconfigurable controller that mitigates the effects of gust load and actuator faults on a flexible aircraft.A novel integrated adaptive output feedback scheme is investigated to address the actuator *** real-time fault values provided by the fault estimation module are considered in the reconfigurable control law to improve the fault-tolerant *** estimate values of faults and control gains are calculated by analyzing the stability of the overall *** proposed controller is simulated using a flexible aircraft model with a discrete‘1-cosine’gust,and the results show that it can effectively mitigate the wing root moments and recover the flight maneuver stability after the aircraft suffered from gusts.

In this paper, the consensus issue of hybrid multiagent systems including discrete time dynamics agents and continuous time dynamics agents is studied. An event triggering mechanism based on broadcast communication is introduced into hybrid multi-agent systems. Compared with the existing work, this event-triggering method can further reduce the communication times between agents while avoiding Zeno behavior and reducing control update. In order to make this event-triggering method applicable to hybrid multi-agent systems, especially discrete time dynamics agents, the definition of hybrid combined measurement and its error is updated in this case. Then we apply simulation experiments to confirm the validity of this event triggering method. © 2022 IEEE.

This is a prototype product of a newly designed and manufactured earthquake alarm box, which is used for onsite logic operation, processing and indication of earthquake alarm signals. This paper introduces the concrete design, logical mathematical algorithm and functional components of the prototype product that supports the alarm signal processing of common seismic acceleration recorders. The function and performance demonstration of the prototype product has been successfully run in the laboratory and practical projects. Its design feature is a typical technical application of mathematical logic operation and processing in the current practical needs described in this paper. Therefore, many of its functions may be beneficial to the development and application of other similar products and verify the scientific nature of mathematical logic.

In recent years, human epididymal protein 4 (HE4), which is a new tumor marker, has been discovered with high specificity in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Current laboratory methods for detecting HE4, such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA), have the disadvantages of being time-consuming and requiring labeling steps. In this study, piezoelectric immunosensors were used to measure the concentration of HE4 antigen in PBS solution which containing various concentrations of the antigen. The performance of this immunoassay such as detection range, test time and accuracy were investigated, respectively. The results revealed that the concentration range of HE4 detected was 200-8000 pmol/ml, the analysis time was no more than 30 min and the relative error was less than 5%. Therefore, the proposed rapid and label-free piezoelectric sensing method in HE4 detection has the great potential in tumor markers detection from clinical serum for early ovarian cancer. © 2023 IEEE.

Applying Energy-Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis to Detect Tungsten Inclusions in nuclear Fuel Rod End Plug TIG Welds

This study proposes a new method of detecting tungsten inclusions in nuclear fuel rod upper-end plug welds using energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) analysis. The Monte Carlo simulation method was used to simulate the process of detecting tungsten inclusions in nuclear fuel rod upper-end plug welds by the EDXRF. The detectable tungsten particle diameters in the zirconium alloy at different depths in welds and the detection limits of the trace tungsten dispersed in welds were obtained. Then, we constructed an experimental device that uses a CdTe detector with an X-ray tube. The results showed that the relative standard deviation of the net count rate of tungsten K-series characteristic X-rays [W (Kα)] was 1.46%, and the optimum parameters are a tube voltage of 150 kV and current of 0.5 mA. These values were used to perform energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis. These results were compared to the X-ray radiographic results, which were broadly similar. Furthermore, the results of EDXRF analysis were more legible and reliable than those from X-ray radiographic inspections. This study demonstrates the feasibility of applying EDXRF analysis to detect tungsten inclusions. © 2021 Runqiu Gu et al.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, the development of intelligent manufacturing has become an inevitable trend. Utilizing AI technology to ensure the safe operation of factories is a crucial aspect of smart factories. In particular, research focused on fault diagnosis and remaining useful life (RUL) prediction models based on machine learning has garnered significant attention from both academia and industry. This paper explores RUL prediction models for complex equipment, introduces four representative models, and analyzes their performance using two benchmark datasets, C-MAPSS and N-CMAPSS. Finally, the paper discusses the future research and application trends of artificial intelligence technology in complex equipment operation and maintenance.

Effect of Heat Treatment Holding Time on Microstructure and Tensile Properties of Ti55511 Alloy

The effect of holding time of double annealing process on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V1Cr-1Fe (Ti55511) alloy was investigated. Results reveal that the shape and size of the primary α (αp) phase are predominantly influenced by the holding time at the first stage. With the prolongation of holding time, the long strip of αp is transformed into a short rod due to the terminal migration mechanism, leading to the broadening growth, and the growth of αp slows down when the holding time is over 2 h. The volume fraction of αp is mainly affected by the holding time of the second stage: with the prolongation of holding time, the volume fraction of αp is increased, which is accompanied by the precipitation of the secondary α (αs). The mechanical properties of Ti55511 alloy are influenced by both αp and αs. Tensile results indicate that the optimal holding time of double annealing is 1–4 h for the first stage and 0.5–2 h for the second stage. This is a prototype product jointly designed and manufactured by chengdu Technological university and chengdu China nuclear Haichuan nuclear technology Co., Ltd., etc. which is used for on-site remote acquisition, processing and storage of seismic signal data. This paper introduces the specific design, mathematical algorithm and functional components of the prototype product to support the signal processing of common seismic acceleration sensors. The function and performance demonstration of the prototype product has been successfully carried out in the laboratory. Its design features are technologies that adapt to the current actual needs described in this document. Therefore, many of its functions may be beneficial to the development and application of other similar products. It is expected that the seismic acceleration recorder will serve as a development centre to promote and strengthen the further development of upstream and downstream related technologies.

Rising ocean temperatures affect the distribution of fish. The livelihoods of many small Scottish fishing companies have also been affected. We designed a fish migration prediction model, a system that predicts fish migration and helps small fishing companies make decisions. First, we creatively proposed the neural network algorithm modified to establish habitat evaluation model based on previous environmental data. Then, the gray prediction algorithm is used to predict the environmental data of each water area in the next 50 years, and the best habitat location of each year is evaluated by the evaluation model based on the environmental data. The migration route of the fish can be obtained by summarizing the best habitats each year in chronological order. We use the knowledge of graph theory to establish a "fishing judgment model"to determine whether small fisheries companies can catch fish in their fishing range. Then we use a triple nested loop to establish a continuous time calculation model, and use this model to discuss the continuous fishing time of a fishing company located in a certain place from a certain year in the future © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
