Modelling Research and Performance Analysis on a Megawatt-Level Helium-Xenon Gas Cooled Small Reactor Based on the Thermal-Hydraulic Constraints

A conceptual design scheme of helium-xenon gas-cooled reactor core consisting of hexagonal prismatic fuel assemblies with a thermal power of 6 MW was proposed. The geometric parameters of the core were determined based on the relationship between hydraulic diameter and inlet velocity of fuel elements with restrain of allowable pressure drop and maximum fuel surface temperature. Thermal performance of individual fuel elements and the cooling effect of helium-xenon channels within the reflector layer were analyzed. Channels for helium-xenon gas mixture were added to reduce the surface temperature outside the reflector *** computational results indicate that the operational burnup of the reactor can reach 40.88 MW·d/kg. The graphite rods added to the core collectively contribute 1404 pcm reactivity, achieving the effect of reducing fuel loading and increasing safety margins in water flooding accidents. The helium-xenon gas mixture reduces the reflector layer temperature by approximately 48.88%. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the technical problems of " untimely perception, poor transmission and difficult equipment deployment" in the monitoring and early warning of mountain disasters in the complex environment of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, a UAV-throwing monitoring device, LoRa networking and edge computing gateway, as well as other embedded hardware and software equipment applicable to deformation and micro-motion monitoring of high-level and high-risk mountain disasters were developed, and focused on the research of the system low-power adaptive data acquisition algorithm and RF frequency adaptive technology, were developed the self-organised network routing algorithm based on LoRa and Beidou RDSS, as well as the multimodal communication intelligent switching technology, so as to solve the problems of timeliness of data perception in complex environments and the problems of low-power consumption and environmental adaptability. The results show that the developed system had a good on-site pilot application effect, which meeting the requirements for long-term monitoring of mountain disasters in alpine mountainous areas, and the average packet loss rate of data transmission in extreme environments is 2. 328 8 percent, providing new technologies and methods for disaster prevention and mitigation in the construction and operation of major projects in alpine and complex mountainous areas. © 2025 Beijing Kexue Jishu yu Gongcheng Zazhishe. Knowledge graphs (KG) that express the structure of relations between entities have become an increasingly attractive area in research into cognition and intelligence at the human level. One of the most known challenges in KG, which is the fact that a large number of training examples are required for every relation to predict a new triple, has sparked increasing interest in the few-shot link prediction method. Existing work on few-shot link prediction does not fully exploit entity information such as symmetry. In this work, we made a prediction of new triples about relations by observing only a few associative triples. In order to make new predictions of triples, we concentrated on the transfer of the most important common information and the reconciliation of the entity between the set and query set support by using Intra-Graph. Our experiment are lead on two datasets and demonstrated that our results achieved the state-of-the-art in few-shot link prediction.

Aspiration performance (K/Reff) is a crucial performance indicator of the wick. However, it is difficult to enhance the permeability (K) and capillary force (1/Reff) at the same time. A wick with a grooved and porous hybrid structure was fabricated using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) to achieve superior liquid absorption performance. The grooved structure ensures excellent permeability (K), while the porous structure offers a high capillary force (1/Reff), which is further enhanced by the corner flow effect. The optimal structure, featuring a 0.6 mm square channel and 70.99% porosity, achieved an ultra-high liquid absorption performance of 3.24×10-6 m, which is 106.3% higher than the previously reported best value. This study introduces a novel design concept and preparation method for high-performance heat pipes. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The Volterra filter is proven to be a structurally simple method for nonlinear active noise control (NLANC). However, its wide application is deeply constrained by computational complexity. This paper proposes a tapdecomposed Volterra filter, in which a long-tap Volterra filter is approximated as multiple short-tap filters by the nearest Kronecker decomposition. Since the number of taps of decomposed filters is much less than that of the original counterpart, the proposed method greatly reduces the implementation cost of the Volterra filter. Moreover, for impulsive noise sources in NLANC, decomposed filters are updated using the maximum correntropy criterion derived from information theory. Simulation experiments with different noise source types highlight the noise control performance of the proposed approach. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this work, Zr-Hf diffusion couples were firstly prepared by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) method and the diffusion behavior and mechanical properties of the Zr-Hf system in temperatures range from 1300 to 1600°C were investigated in detail. The microstructure characterization by SEM and TEM reveals that Zr-Hf diffusion zone form some amorphous and nanocrystalline grains in local area. Then the hardness and Young's modulus of the Zr-Hf system in the diffusion zone were tested and the results show that the hardness and Young’s modulus of the alloy system was enhanced by solid solution Hf element, and the maximum hardness and Young's modulus in the diffusion zone reached to 10.74GPa and 203.5GPa, respectively. Finally, based on the profiles of Electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), the interdiffusion coefficient is composition-dependent. The value calculated by Sauer-Freise method is between 10-13 m2/s and 10-11 m2/s, which indicating that SPS diffusion annealing significantly enhances the diffusion rate of the Zr-Hf system. Meanwhile, the interdiffusion coefficient decreases slowly with increasing Hf concentration. The diffusion activation energy Q and the frequency factor D0 of the Zr-Hf binary alloy in this experiment ranges from 182 to 226 kJ/mol and 8.0×10-6 to 4.1×10-5 m2/s, respectively. © 2024, The Authors. Neutrinos from core-collapse supernovae are essential for understanding neutrino physics and stellar ***-phase xenon dark matter detectors can be used to track explosions of galactic supernovae by detecting neutrinos through coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus *** this study,a variation of progenitor masses and explosion models are assumed to predict neutrino fluxes and spectra,which result in the number of expected neutrino events ranging from 6.6 to 13.7 at a distance of 10 kpc over a 10-s duration with negligible backgrounds at *** specialized triggering alarms for monitoring supernova burst neutrinos are *** efficiency of detecting supernova explosions at various distances in the Milky Way is *** alarms will be implemented in the real-time supernova monitoring system at PandaX-4T in the near future,which will provide supernova early warnings for the astronomical community.

Effect of Si Content on the Microstructure and Properties of Crsi Coatings for Atf Cladding

Microstructure, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance of four CrSi coatings with different Si content ranging from 0 at% to 67 at% were investigated. With increasing Si content from 11 at% to 67 at%, the main forms of Si exist the coatings are Cr3Si, Cr5Si3 and CrSi2, respectively. All the CrSi coatings own higher nano-hardness due to the formation of intermetallic. For Si content ≤33 at%, the CrSi coatings show good corrosion resistance in static pure water of high temperature and pressure. However, the higher Si content (67 at%) leads to the dissolution of Si in the form of [Si(OH)]4, as well as insufficient Cr to form continuous Cr2O3 layer. The high-temperature oxidation tests show that the coating with 11 at% Si content own the best oxidation resistance than other coatings, due to the formation of outermost Cr2O3 layer, stable Cr3Si phase and inner Zr2Si. Our study indicates that the coating with 11 at% Si content display a good comprehensive property and could be used as a candidate material for ATF coatings. © 2023, The Authors. Radon is one kind of radioactive gas which mainly distributed in soil and rocks,because of its strong upward migration ability,it is easy to diffuse into the air and cause radiation damage as the respiratory system enters the human body,which may cause lung *** measurement of concentration has always been a research area that has attracted much *** are various methods for measuring *** used at home and abroad are thermoluminescence radon method,solid nuclear track radon method,activated carbon method,electret method,and scintillation chamber *** is qualified for measurement under normal conditions,but in special applications such as the deduction of radon background in aerial gamma measurement,the above method is no longer *** present,the detectors used in aviation gamma instruments at home and abroad are mainly large crystal sodium iodide *** high-resolution array detector aviation gamma spectrometer developed by Ge Liangquan of chengdu university of technology also uses this kind of *** order to explore the effect of the detector on the direct measurement of the gamma energy spectrum of radon and its *** experimental platform was built based on the HD-6 multifunctional automatic control radon chamber,the large crystal NaI(Tl) detector was used for measurement,and the HPGe detector was used for comparative ***,the measurement results of the two were measured with the RAD7 radon *** obtained radon concentration was compared,and the reason for the abnormal data was *** experiments,the large crystal NaI(Tl) detector can be applied to the direct measurement of the γ energy spectrum of radon and its daughters,and its practical effect is better than that of the electric cooling HPGe *** experiment found that the temperature is The count rate of the large crystal NaI(Tl) detector cannot be ignored,and temperature correction is required.
