Plastic deformation is driven by the movement of dislocations on a microscopic scale, and the mobility of these dislocations determine the strength of the material. Forest dislocations and dislocation loops are often considered to be important factors that impede dislocation movement, but their effectiveness is called into question at high temperature. Here, in-situ heating was performed on irradiated Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si ferritic martensitic steel in the temperature range of 873-923 K, and the interaction between dislocation lines and obstacles was investigated to reveal the mechanism that led to easier dislocation gliding. Dislocations tended to glide in several planes at the same time and only glided as a whole in one plane occasionally. It was discovered that dislocations usually glided in high index planes such as {123} planes. When moving dislocations intersected with forest dislocations, a new mechanism was found where the segments for different dislocations with the same Burgers vector could exchange, which was important for the moving dislocation to cut through the forest dislocations without decreasing their mobility. The reactions between dislocations and loops included absorption, break away and rebound. Meanwhile, statistical results indicated that the highest ratio was about 48% for the case where loops were restored and dislocations broke away, demonstrating that the loops were not strong obstacles when interacting with moving dislocations at high temperature. © 2023, The Authors. In most correlation filter target tracking algorithms, poor accuracy in the tracking process for complex field images of the target and scale change problems. To address these issues, this paper proposes an algorithm of adaptive multi-feature fusion with scale change correlation filtering tracking. Our algorithm is based on the rapid and simple Kernel-Correlated Filtering(K CF) tracker, and achieves the complementarity among image features by fusing multiple features of Color Nmae(CN), Histogram of Oriented Gradient(HOG) and Local Binary Pattern(LBP) with weights adjusted by visual evaluation functions. The proposed algorithm introduces scale pooling and bilinear interpolation to adjust the target template size. Experiments on the OTB-2015 dataset of 100 video frames are compared with several trackers, and the precision and success ratio of our algorithm on complex scene tracking problems are 17.7% and 32.1 % respectively compared to the based-KCF. © 2021 IEEE.

In the context of carbon neutrality, the power industry is becoming the main battlefield of carbon emission reduction. However, the low-carbon transformation of energy structure is a complex long-term task, it needs to be analyzed in combination with the actual situation. This paper is based on the microgrid in the grid connection mode, considering microgrid power output and carbon emission constraints. An optimal model is proposed to reduce carbon emission cost, the optimal economic operation, and build a low-carbon scheduling model of a microgrid system. In this paper, the improved multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the model and the superiority of the improved algorithm.

A series of Ce3+-doped Gd2O3-GdF3-Al2O3-B2O3-SiO2 glass scintillators (GSCx and GLCx) were successfully synthesized in reducing atmosphere for future imaging application. The transmittance of GSCx glasses exceeds 85 % in range of 500–800 nm, and the cut-off edge red shifts as the Ce3+ concentration increases. In photoluminescence (PL), GSCx glass scintillators have a 360–600 nm broadband emission with a shoulder peak at around 450 nm. Meanwhile, the PL lifetime of GSCx glasses is close to the CeF3 crystals, and the PL QY of GSC3 glass scintillator reaches up 70.2 %. For scintillation application, the integral XEL intensity of GSC2 and GSC3 glasses is 31.3 % and 24.4 % of that of BGO crystal. GLC2 and GLC3 glasses exhibit similar spatial resolution of approximately 7 lp·mm−1. Moreover, the light yields of GSC2 and GSC3 glass scintillator are 1702 and 1690 ph/MeV excited by γ-ray, respectively. The nonproportionality of GSCx glasses is less than 3 % in the range of 100–1400 keV due to the large density and Zeff. As Ce3+ concentration increases, both the fast and slow components of the glasses decrease (103.7 ns–89.7 ns, 1454.4 ns–1012.8 ns), and the proportion of fast component also increased from 3.3 % to 4.7 %. For γ-ray imaging, the scintillation light events of the glass can be observed from SiPM array, and the central position (−2, −1) have the highest count rate of the system. The results show that GSCx and GLCx glass scintillators deserve further development for future applications. © 2025

nuclear-grade graphite is extensively utilized in the High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor’s core. It holds significant importance to estimate the permeability of nuclear grade graphite accurately for dehumidification purposes. Through the utilization of high-resolution X-ray microtomographic image (XCT-image), three-dimensional geometries of nuclear graphite IG-110 were generated. Subsequently, a combination of a single relaxation time lattice Boltzmann method (SRT-LBM) and an analytical model is used for analyzing gas permeabilities based on XCT-image. The results showed that these numerical approaches can over‐estimate permeability by a magnification of four or more for nuclear graphite compared to experiment results, as reported in this study. This work can deepen the understanding of microscopic flow characteristics of water vapor and provide a reference data for dehumidification process. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The high-temperature high-pressure fuel assembly irradiation device serves as a critical experimental platform for simulating comprehensive radiation environments, enabling rigorous performance validation of next-generation nuclear fuel and materials. Complementarily, the ancillary experimental circuit provides essential non-nuclear environments, including precise thermal-hydraulic and water chemistry conditions. In this paper, the thermal-hydraulic characteristics of fuel assembly irradiation device is experimentally and numerically investigated. In the experiment, under the benchmarking high and low flow conditions, the overall heat leakage rate of the device is 1.54% and 0.38%, respectively, indicating that the thermal insulation performance of the experimental device is good. Under the two flow conditions, the corresponding total pressure drop in the experimental body is about 38 kPa and 11 kPa, respectively. Compared with the experiment, the maximum experimental body pressure drop error of the calculated results is 9.58%. The calculated results show that there is a drastic exchange of velocities between the fluids during the movement of the fluid in the downcomer section. The flow velocity inside the slit channel is larger than that in the slit inlet and outlet area, and the velocity gradient at the slit outlet is larger. The existence of the slit makes a part of the fluid enter the outflow channel of the electric heating section, accounting for 2.4%. The fluid mixing effect of the square box in the device is obvious, which is conducive to the flow distribution of the fluid into the heating channel. © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In the massive mechanical fault data, the value density of fault information is low, and the data quality is uneven. What’s more, the multi-source signals collected by different sampling methods are different. At present, the expert system or shallow neural network model with weak self-learning ability cannot meet the requirements. Therefore, aiming at the characteristics of coupling, uncertainty and concurrency of mechanical faults, this paper constructs two kinds of 2D-CNN fault feature data sets, and uses Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with strong self-learning ability to build two kinds of fault diagnosis models: CNN-Z and CNN-F. With CNN-Z and CNN-F models as base learners, this paper utilizes the ensemble algorithm Gradient Boosting Decision Tree (GBDT) to combine multiple bases. Compared with the results of the single base learner, the outcomes have higher accuracy and lower generalization error. Through the analysis and comparison of the performance indicators of the algorithm, this paper concludes that the diagnosis error of the fault diagnosis algorithm based on CNN and GBDT is the lowest with 1.79%, and the effectiveness, reliability and accuracy of the proposed algorithm in mining hidden fault state information are verified. © Journal of Physics: Conference Series 2021.

With the development of renewable energy technology, and combined with the traditional fuel energy as an energy system, which integrated with load equipment to form a ship-harbour energy system. In order to ensure the safe operation of the energy system, we take a limitation on the carbon dioxide emissions of the ship during sailing voyage to reduce the waste of resources caused by redundant energy generation. Therefore, based on the above situations, an energy management model is proposed in this paper. In addition, considering the above problem, a reliable and efficient distributed economic optimal scheduling strategy is constructed. The simulation results show that the method can provide high-precision multi-energy complementary optimal scheduling scheme for the ship-harbour energy system under the premise of convergence. © 2021 IEEE.

Automatic crane is a complex system affected by the external environment and the internal components of the system, information fusion, software and hardware combination, and man-machine integration. The improvement of its automation and informatization proposes various challenges in the accident model construction and safety analysis. However, the safety analysis methods based on fault types consider that the occurrence of accidents is linear and ignore the correlation among components of the system. This paper adopts the system-theoretic accident model and process (STAMP) and system-theoretic process analysis (STPA) mode is to implement safety analysis of the automatic crane trolley running system (ACTRs). The paper starts from the identification of system-level losses and hazards, clarifies the function and internal logical control relationships of the system's components, and then finds potential unsafe control actions (UCAs) and loss scenarios during the trolley running. The results show that the control requirements for the regular operation of the trolley running system can be analyzed in detail. Therefore, the STAMP/STPA can apply to the safety investigation of automatic cranes. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper focuses on the event-triggered consensus problem of nonlinear multi-agent systems(MASs) via a fully distributed control scheme. Firstly, a nonlinear full-dimensional state observer is established to estimate the state of each agent according to the measurement of the system output. Then, an observer-based adaptive consensus protocol is proposed by utilizing only the neighboring state information, where the global topology of the MASs communication network is no longer *** addition, a dynamic event-triggered transmission scheme is presented to further reduce the communication load in the MASs network. Furthermore, the consensus of MASs can be ensured by solving two linear matrix inequalities and the gain matrices of observer and controller are obtained. Finally, a simulation test is provided to verify the feasibility and performance of the proposed control methods.
