Minangkabau has connection to the founding of the Malayapura Kingdom in Pariangan-Saruaso by Datuk Ketumanggungan (Akarendrawan) and Datuk Parpatih Nan Sabatang (Adityawarman). This kingdom existed after the victory of buffalo fights from the Majapahit Kingdom and the dimming of the Dharmasraya Kingdom (Koto Alang Kingdom) after the attack of Kandis Kingdom. The Dharmasraya was in the region between Hulu-Batanghari (Padang Roco and Sungai Dareh) and Batang Kuantan (Lubuk Jambi - Taluk Kuantan) and eventually became the subordinate kingdom of the Malayapura and subsequently under the Pagaruyung Sultanate as the subordinate territory (Rantau or Hilir or Downstream) of Luhak Tanah Datar (Darek or Hulu or Upstream);one of the central of Luhak Nan Tigo. The relationship between the regions in history and myths may indicate cultural relations, especially in their traditional houses. How are the architectural characteristics of the Rumah Gadang in Dharmasraya and Rumah Godang in Batang Kuantan? This research method is qualitative, by conducting a literature review, field study, to be analyzed architecturally to get a clear conclusion. The results showed the architectural similiarities and linkage between Rumah Gadang in the area of Dharmasraya and Rumah Godang in Batang Kuantan area, especially in their spatial systems and shape-form systems. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Cities are developing due to population growth, socio-economic structure changes, technology and spatial interaction with its surroundings. "Bagian Wilayah Kota (BWK) C"or so-called "urban zone C"of Bandar Lampung municipality comprising districts of Sukarame, Tanjung Senang, and Way Halim is currently growing both internally and externally due to the development of Trans-Sumatera highway and Institute Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA). The dynamics of development and activities have caused a growing physical urban space, affecting the changes of urban structure directly. The current development in BWK C has been considered as unmanageable and potentially caused some problems in spatial plan in the future. To prevent the chaotic of spatial plan in the future, this study aims to identify the changes of urban structure in BWK C of Bandar Lampung municipality due to the internal and external development of its area. This study benefits in providing comprehensive standpoints about the process of urban structure changes based on urban activities so that city government could gain a systematic discourse of urban development which advantages in policymaking for spatial development in Bandar Lampung municipality in the future. This study conducted several analytical methods ranging from comparative analysis, spatial analysis, and hierarchical centrality index analysis. For data collection, this study applied secondary data survey and field work observation, using data from 2010 to 2016. The findings of this study reveal that the physical development in BWK C is getting compacted as its morphology changed from ribbon shaped city to octopus shaped city. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The potential wealth of marine resources such as marine fisheries resources is owned by Indonesia. The wealth of marine resources has not been utilized and managed optimally. Today, there are many businesses driven in various fields. The business of building floor crafts from sea shells (anadara grandis) can be pioneered into one form of business. Buton Regency is an archipelago, more than 80% of its territory consists of sea. During this time, shellfish cultivated by fishermen only used the meat, while the shell removed and became waste. This research aims to utilize shell waste into floor material. The method used in this research was exploration method. The data began with the selection of materials, work tools, and stages of manufacture. Information from various sources is captured and interpreted into a creative idea. The process of analysis was done qualitatively, so it was obtained and raised the shape of the floor. This study concludes that the use of waste shellfish shells into composite floor material is done in three stages. In the first stage, prepared work tools such as glass molds, measuring cups, stirring spoons, brushes, flooring boards, measuring tools, hammers, cutter knives, sandpaper and plastic. The second stage is prepared work materials such as shells, hardener, resin oil, and mirror glass. The third stage is made of floor like shell stage filled with resin oil;The printed floor stage is like smearing a glass mirror on the mold, the resin oil is mixed with hardener, the composite mixture is poured into the mold, the shells are placed in the mold, the shells are poured again with resin oil, and hardener;Stage of removing from glass mold and;finally the floor is given the ballast.

This paper presents the resilience phenomenon of Chinese Settlement that faces the political policies and economic activities in Lasem. The political and economic conditions that have lasted for centuries do not influenced the resilience of the culture and architecture of Lasem Chinese Settlement. The resilience of Lasem Chinese Settlement is reflected in several temples with their original and unique architectural design that has been around for hundreds of years. They become artefacts that remain resistant to change and have their own meaning for Lasem Chinese community. The purpose of this study is to determine the resilience phenomenon of Lasem Chinese Settlement. This research is expected to provide knowledge about the activities, functions, and values of space and form that play a role in maintaining human existence as its inhabitants. This study employed a qualitative approach that was based on the naturalistic paradigm with an inductive method. The end of the research conclusion was to build local knowledge from the field of study. The result of the research showed that the Chinese Settlement was able to adjust to the political and economic development. The resilience of space and form of Lasem Chinese Settlement can be viewed by the ability of settlement, public and religious spaces in maintaining human existence as its inhabitants. The resilience grows from the socio-cultural values and gives Lasem city sense of place and local identification that remains resistance. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In the current digital era, virtual reality (VR) technology is rapidly expanding across various fields, including education and cultural preservation. This technology offers immersive opportunities to explore and experience architectural spaces, promising increased understanding and learning motivation. Despite being relatively new in Indonesia, the application of VR has shown significant potential for education and cultural preservation through the implementation of a 3D virtual tour in Kampung Adat Pulo Garut. Therefore, this research aimed to develop VR media to enhance users' spatial experience and preserve the cultural values of Kampung Adat Pulo Garut through interactive learning. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) through the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. The equipment used was LiDAR Scanner FJD Trion P1 Series, DJI Mavic Air 2S Drone, and Sony A6000 Camera. The method used included aerial and terrestrial mapping, 3D modeling, and the development of virtual environments through Unreal Engine. The developmental process included various stages, namely concept, design, material collection, compilation, testing, and distribution. The result showed an interactive 3D virtual tour of Kampung Adat Pulo Garut, called "Echoes of Tradition." Unreal Engine was found to enable detailed visualization of traditional architecture and village environments with high accuracy and interactivity. The final product offered an immersive learning experience, enriching users' experience, and enabling digital preservation of cultural heritage. The next step, to get an overview of the research results, used a questionnaire as an instrument which was distributed to a total of 250 respondents. Furthermore, the potential implication of VR in education and cultural preservation was identified, guiding similar applications in the future. Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has a spirit to become a Conservation and International Reputation University is realized through strategic missions. One of the conservation-oriented implementation programs is H-BAT (Green, Clean and Healthy) program. In its implementation, there is a problem, namely the achievement of H-BAT program has not been maximized during the last 3 years in assessment. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify of the potential and character of environmental support in the work units;(2) to determine the achievement of the indication of a green campus based on the assessment indicators on H-BAT program. This research was carried out in four stages: (1) Data collection;(2) Spatial data processing;(3) Non Spatial data processing;(4) Analysis (ecological, technical standards);The results achieved in June 2020 are as follows: FT got 87,50%, FE got 85,87%, FMIPA got 81,52%, BUHK got79,49%, FIP got 73,91%, LP3 got 69,23%, LP2M got 63,46%, FIS got 60,33%,PPS got 57,07%, FIK got 56,52%, FH got 52,72%, FBS got 49,46%, TIK got 40,38%, BPB got 34,62%, Library got 30,13%, Archive got 17,31%. From these results, it can be seen that there is a lack of maximum achievement due to, among others, the lack of guidance and technical assistance in the management of the unit. So it is necessary to complete governance guidelines and technical assistance that are more intensive in unit governance to achieve the goals of UNNES as a green campus. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The plaza area at the Great Mosque of Central Java is a non-green open space of the Central Java Grand Mosque building complex. The Plaza area has an important role in the building, because the plaza area at the mosque is the first place we meet, and becomes the center of circulation and socio-religious activities for visitors. Thus, it is necessary to design a plaza area at the Grand Mosque of Central Java which considers all aspects. Open space has a role as a container that can accommodate certain activities of the community in certain areas, therefore open space has a contribution to be given to humans in the form of positive impacts. This research was conducted at the Grand Mosque of Central Java using qualitative-descriptive methods. This research focuses on studies in the plaza area of the Grand Mosque of Central Java in terms of open space functions. The results of this study, in the plaza area at the Great Mosque of Central Java, show that it has not fulfilled both as a general function of open space and an ecological function.

Concept of friendly city mentions about better employment options and more opportunities of the local communities. Tourism development and creative industry effectively enhance regional economic development and community welfare. Kampoeng Jayengan is located in Serengan District, Surakarta, which the local community was originally come from Banjar in 1746;with the main economic activity was Jewels Trader. Jayengan Jewels Kampoeng (JKP) will support development of Surakarta as a creative city integrated with other creative tourism Kampoengs. In fact, JKP has been launched by the Secretary of Surakarta Government in 2015 indicated the Government's attention and support to development of the area. This research aims for Developing Attraction Simulation based on the local economic activities of the communities in order to stimulate Economic friendly city. The methods used mixed methods combining quantitative through field observation and qualitative approach through interview and FGD. The results developed two directions of Tourism Attraction destination, the West and the East Direction. The sequence process of the jewels craft making is challenging for creating the path of tourism attraction in JKP. This implies for increasing tourist visits, enhancing regional economic development and community welfare.

Bandung as an urban area in the centre of Metropolitan Bandung Raya and the centre of various activities generate high movement of trips, especially the movement from commuters. The more trips use motorized vehicles, the more people need parking lots. In consequences, the massive movement using private vehicle and the use of on-street parking causes congestion in Bandung Urban Area because of the increasing of road capacity. Previous research proved that one factor to reduce private vehicle user mode choice behaviour is by having a strong strategy in parking. Hence the parking pricing is one of the most effective parking strategies in influencing driver behaviour. The binary logit regression model is used to identify the behaviours of private vehicle users and to investigate the probability of private vehicle drivers shifting to mass transportation particularly for commuter's trip. This paper surveyed 200 commuters through revealed and stated preference in Bandung Centre Area. The best model is the model with the highest significance number shown from the Neglekerke R square number. The response keeps using private vehicle and parking in the existing area has the highest significance number which is 0,59. The model from the response is Ln P/1-P = 4.356 -1,550 (X1.1)- 1,279 (X1.2) - 0,01 (X2). The variables in this model are a medium compact area (X1.1), a compact area (X1.2) and parking pricing strategy (X.2). The result can assist decision-makers on all levels to wisely allocate resources to public transportation improvement, and optimization of parking pricing strategy, especially in Bandung Urban Area.

The common problem occurs in fish mapping using autonomous surface vehicles (ASV) is pitching stability. Some researchers have indicated that problem affects the results of mapping. The target of this system is to design an Autonomous Pitching System (APS) for ASV using numerical simulation software. The simulation is done by implement APS into the system, producing an oscillatory motion from the ASV. For both dynamics of craft in short and long periods, APS with proportional controller (P), proportional-integral controller (PI), and proportional-integral-derivative controller (PID) are developed in order to minimize the oscillatory behaviour. It was found that for the short period dynamics, the APS with PI controller was the optimal controller, followed by the PID controller and then the P controller. For the long period dynamics, the APS with PID controller was optimal. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.
