Lumen and nuclei detection in histopathology of prostate cancer based on morphological feature extraction

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. The results of a fast and precise classification can be a fundamental objective of reference. Histological assessment is valuable information for doctors. The most common assessment for histological assessment of prostate cancer is the Gleason Grading System. Gleason pattern detection was done by extracting morphological features in the form of Line Length, Area Fraction, and the comparison between Line Length and Area Fraction. All morphological features become the input of backpropagation. Based on the results of backpropagation testing, this method can classify Gleason pattern images with an accuracy of 91.67%. The threshold of segmentation in determining the lumen and nucleus did not have a specific range in its threshold due to the lack of uniform contrast in each image.

A decision support system is a solution to help provide decision recommendations in determining which options to choose as a solution, in this decision support system research, namely analyzing and comparing the Matching Profile method and the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method in providing the best choice solution in the case of determining teaching staff acceptance. Determination of Admission, The selected teaching staff, are teaching staff who are in accordance with the criteria and quality. In an educational institution, namely TPQ Anbata, it is a very important issue to get elected teaching staff. One way to get teaching staff who is in accordance with the cafeteria is determined by selecting or determining prospective teaching staff by paying attention to various assessment criteria so that the selected teaching staff is feasible. From the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained include all test cases, and the testing is appropriate. The results of the system calculation accuracy test show that the calculation of Matching Profile and SAW (Simple Additive Weighting Method carried out by the system with manual calculations is correct and the feasibility test. Appropriate to use in making decisions determining the recruitment of teachers than the profile matching method in Anbata TPQ. The difference is in the highest value in each method. In the profile matching method, the highest value is Salman Al Fariz with a value of 4.70 while in the SAW method the highest value is Ali Gufron with a value of 8,778., it can be concluded that the most appropriate method in determining the recruitment of teaching staff at TPQ Anbata is the Profile Matching Method.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the tensile strength and impact strength of eleusine indica grass fiber-reinforced polypropylene recycle composite. In this study, the fiber was treated with alkali at 5% NaOH for 2 hours. The eleusine indica grass fiber cut with a length of 3 cm and the matrix used recycle polypropylene. In this research, the volume fraction of eleusine indica grass fiber varied by 20%, 25%, and 30% respectively. The composite molded with a hot press at temperature 200°C with a holding time for 2 hours. Tensile test used ASTM D3039 and impact test used ASTM D256. Textural characteristics of activated carbons derived from tabah bamboo manufactured by using H 3 PO 4 chemical activation

Activated carbon utilization in a different application requires a specific characteristic. Textural characteristics such as pore volume (V P ), surface area (S A ), pore diameter (D P ) and pore size distribution (PSDs) have an important effect on the quality and utility of activated carbon. Such characteristics are attributed to the activated carbon adsorption capacity. This research is concerned to investigate the textural properties of activated carbons derived from tabah bamboo ( Gigantochloa nigrociliata ) which are chemically activated using H 3 PO 4 activating agent. Carbonization was carried out up to 800 O C for 1.5 hours. Activations were set up to 820 O C for each 50, 100 and 150 minutes. The activated carbons produced are expressed as AC-50min, AC-100min, and AC-150min each for activation during 50, 100, and 150 minutes. The results of the research show that the higher activation time produced activated carbons with higher pore volume and wider average pore diameter but no pattern was observed on the surface area. The highest surface area of 398.400 m 2 /g and the highest pore volume of 0.680 cc/g were achieved by AC-100min and AC-150min activated carbons, respectively. The highest N 2 adsorption capacity of 48.743 cc/g was achieved on the activated carbon of AC-150min. AC-50min, AC-100min, and AC-150min have average pore diameters, respectively, around of 1.258 nm, 1.750 nm, and 3.950 nm. AC-50min and AC-100min produced pores with a monomodal pore size distribution and a bimodal pore size distribution was found on AC-150min

Modeling the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Java using negative binomial regression based on least square spline estimator

The East Java Province has experienced a significant surge in number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. This study endeavors to investigate the potential correlation between weather conditions and the incidence of number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Java. To achieve this, a nonparametric regression model, specifically, the Negative Binomial Regression (NBR) model based on the least squares spline estimator, was utilized. The outcomes of the study indicate that the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of nonparametic regression model is 0.30. Meanwhile, the MAPE for the parametric regression model is 0.34. The results show that a nonparametric regression model approach is better than parametric regression model approach. The study establishes that the truncated spline estimator based NBR model represents the best fit, with an MLCV value of -256.71. The findings of the study suggest that a temperature less than 21.75°C is associated with a decrease of 13.28 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase, while a temperature between 21.75°C and 25.78°C is linked to an increase of 6.85 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase. In contrast, a temperature greater than 25.78°C is associated with a decrease of 139.42 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1°C increase. Similarly, a wind speed less than 5.57 m/s is related to a decrease of 12.99 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase, whereas a wind speed between 5.57 m/s and 8.99 m/s is associated with a decrease of 10.29 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase. Furthermore, a wind speed greater than 8.99 m/s is linked to a decrease of 19.16 number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 per each 1 m/s increase. The study provides evidence that higher temperatures and wind speeds result in a slower rise in the incidence of the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. Bitcoin has become a commodity traded by millions of traders from all over the world. This is one of the causes of fluctuating price movements. From the data we got on coinmarketcap, Bitcoin is traded on various cryptocurrency trading exchanges. And at every exchange that has a reputation, of course, has an API service to access historical data about the price movements of all the crypto commodities they have traded from the start. By using the PHP programming language and implementation of the CURL function for JSON readings, we can pull Bitcoin movement data in real time. In this paper, Bitcoin is specifically observed because it is the forerunner and the main cryptocurrency commodity traded and is a determinant of Alternative coin price movements in general. In this paper Bitcoin price monitoring is carried out at 30 reputable exchange places through API access provided by each exchange place. Furthermore, conclusions are drawn about the various variants of how to access the API from the 30 bitcoin exchange places. The program code that is displayed directly in this paper can then be used as an initial reference if you want to develop a Cryptocurrency price movement monitoring application for Bitcoin. At the end of the paper, an example of the application of Bitcoin price monitoring will be presented using a web-based application containing charts and supporting indicators as well as a telegram bot to display price depth charts.

Marine debris has become a global concern due to its impact on marine ecosystems. These materials generally come from land and are deposited to marine environment through different agent of carrier. Many efforts are being made to monitor the dynamics of the debris including their presence and their variability in relation to seasons. The latter are assumed from the facts that the presence of the debris is mainly affected by the waves, speed, and direction of ocean currents in the area of interest. In this study, variation of debris in dry and wet season at Manado Bay was assessed by using a shoreline technique. Two locations are selected, Bailang and Malalayang beach. The samplings were conducted in August 2019 (represent dry season) and January 2020 (represent wet season). Several parameters are examined during the sampling; they are: amount of material, type of debris, composition, and spatial density of each type for macro-size (>2.5 cm) and meso-size (0.5–2.5 cm). The results showed that there was variation on composition and density, but the types of debris remain unchanged. Our present study concluded that variation in the season do not affect the variability of marine debris in Manado Bay.

There are some types of scheduling problems in the production line of manufacturing. One of the most multiple usages of the operational machine for doing some jobs is job shop scheduling. The implementation of the job shop problem in this study uses the input of random order of eight job numbers. The raw materials for the job numbers to do the process and the five type machines are considered. The machines work in different functions to do the jobs for some materials. The materials have processed the work in process (WIP) before they are sent to the warehouse. The proposed of this study is to find the optimal condition of job shop scheduling heuristic and deterministic rules to minimize the makespan, tardiness with the heuristic and some deterministic rules in the Lekin software. The heuristic methods are General SBRoutine and the DASH (shifting bottleneck). The deterministic use Critical Ratio (CR) Rule, First come First Serve Rule (FCFS), Longest Processing Time (LPT), Shortest Processing Time (SPT), Weighted Shortest Processing Time (WSPT) and Machine Sequence (MS). The result shows that the minimum makespan is FCFS method with 47 minutes, the tardiness is 27, and for the machine no3. It produces the effective percentage of The contras deviation performance among the jobs of DASH, and compare to the FCFS is as follow, DASH, LPT, MS, SPT, WSPT are increasing 4.26%;31,91%;8.51%;4.26% and 12.77% respectively. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A study of Eye Lens Radiation Dose Reduction During Head CT Scan Examination

BackgroundHead CT is the most frequently performed examination in every hospital in Indonesia. Considering of the large radiation dose of head CT produces and eye which is one of the most sensitive organs, radioprotection is should be done for every patient of head CT. The aim of this study is to determine the radiation dose of eye lens during head CT compared to the dose limit value determined by ICRP No. 87 of 2000 and provides recommendations for examination protocols that prioritize radiation protection in order to reducing eye lens radiation dose. MethodsRadiation dose measurement of eye lens were performed on 10 patient samples using two different scanograms for every 5 patients. The first five patients had a scanogram parallel to the Orbitomeatal line (OML) and the other 5 patients had a scanogram parallel to the Supraorbitomeatal line (SOML). Radiation dose measurement is done by placing the Thermoluminescent Dosimeter 100-chip on one of the patient's eyelid surfaces. The results of the radiation dose measurements are presented and compared with the standard dose CT scan according to ICRP No. 87 2000. ResultsThe research showed that the procedure using scanogram parallel to OML get eye lens radiation dose 53.889 mGy, 50.729 mGy, 60.407 mGy, 70.952 mGy, 70.952 mGy and the other procedure which is using scanogram parallel to SOML get eye lens radiation dose 7.265 mGy, 6.944 mGy, 8.747 mGy, 6.411 mGy, 6.944 mGy. ConclusionThe procedure using scanogram parallel to the OML produces a higher dose of eye lens and it exceeds the standard head CT eye lens dose according to ICRP No. 87 of 2000. While the another procedure using scanogram parallel to SOML produces a lower radiation dose. Head CT is advised to use a scanogram parallel to SOML to reduce the eye lens radiation dose.

The research purposed to analyze the characteristics of chemistry module on acid-base and electrochemistry topic based on vehicle context, to analyze the feasibility of module according to chemistry learning experts and to analyze the response of chemistry teachers and students of Automotive engineering program (AEP) about this module. This research using mixed methods and exploratory model design. The data collected from expert validation sheets also teachers and students response questionnaire. Technique of data analysis begins by converting qualitative data into quantitative data using Likert scales. Furthermore, the total and average score of each component can be determined from the quantitative data. The result of the average scores were converted into qualitative feasibility criteria according to the rating category. The product of the development was a chemistry module on acid-base and electrochemistry topic based on vehicle context for students in AEP. The experts considered feasibility of the module. This module had assessed by 5 teachers and 10 students. The module assessed by teachers showed a very good response while the module assessed by students showed a good response. Therefore, this module is feasible and can be used as a learning resource for students of AEP to enhance quality of chemistry learning. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
