Cryptography is the science and art of maintaining the security of messages when messages are sent from one place to another. One of the ways securing the form of text message information is by the encryption process using the Vigenere Cipher algorithm and utilizing the One Time Pad (OTP) algorithm as a key generator, where the message will be random when it is opened. The message encryption process used the vigenere cipher algorithm while OTP is used to secure the key with the same formula. After this research has been done, an application was designed to secure text messages by converting the text message into a random message so that the message was unreadable due to a secret message that could not be known by others. The results achieved can secure an encrypted message that cannot be reopened and if those messages were reopened, they must be decrypted. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This study aims to investigate the effect of fly ash content on the density, thermal conductivity, compressive strength and water absorption of Lightweight Foamed Concrete (LFC). This LFC consists of cement, water, sand, fly ash (FA) and foam. The foam is needed to to create air voids in the mixture and reduce its weight. The foaming agent which was diluted in the water was given air pressure using foam generator to produce foam. The LFC are made with water-cement ratio of 1:1 and cement-agregat ratio of 1: 4. Aggregates consisted of sand and FA varied by 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% in weight. The content offoam was 30% and 40% of the mortar volume. The increasing of foam content decreases density, thermal conductivity, and compressive strength of LFC. However, that increases its water absorption. The increasing of FA contentalso decreases water absorption, but it density, thermal conductivity and compressive strength. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This work extracted the Tinospora cordifolia stem for antibacterial and antioxidant materials. The stems of T. cordifolia were extracted by using a simple maceration method. The effect of three independent variables (solvent ratios, temperature, and extraction time) was investigated to obtain optimal conditions. Ten grams of T. cordifolia were extracted using a mixture of methanol–water ratios 00:100, 15:85, 30:70, and 45:55 (% v/v) at 50–95 °C for 0.5 to 3 h. The total phenolic and flavonoid content in the T. cordifolia extracts was analyzed by Folin-Ciocalteu and Colorimetric-AlCl 3 methods. The antibacterial activities against Pseudomonas aeruginosa were assessed by serial dilution methods, and antioxidant properties were performed by DPPH methods. The optimum condition was achieved at methanol–water ratios of 00:100 % (v/v) at 95 °C for 2 h. The yield extraction for this condition is around 13.97%. The total phenolic and flavonoid contents for these conditions are about 6.85% and 7.07%, respectively. The minimum inhibitory concentration value against P. aeruginosa is 1024 µg/mL, and the minimum bacterial concentration is above 2048 µg/mL. Meanwhile, the antioxidant obtained is 217.55 µg/mL at a ratio of 00:100 methanol–water. The extraction process parameters significantly influenced the phytochemical (TPC and TFC), antibacterial activity, and antioxidant properties of T. cordifolia stem extracts. This work clearly shows the antibacterial potential of T. cordifolia stem extracts, suggesting that more investigation is required to isolate the bioactive compounds in this extract.

Some disabilities caused by sensory malfunction, accident, or congenital disorder could cause people difficulty in grasping the computer mouse. A well-known substitute uses an inertial sensor to monitor the body's orientation. This paper evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of different methods of holding the sensor. There are two modes of holding the sensor, the grasping mode and the attached mode;we also evaluate a mouse as a baseline. The attached mode works by placing the sensor on the back of user's hand. The quantitative and qualitative evaluation procedure is based on ISO/TS 9241 part 411: Ergonomics of human-system interaction standard. The test consists of four levels of difficulty and indicates that the throughput and task completion times were not statistically different between grasping and attached mode. We also found that grasping mode and attached mode did not show significantly statistical differences in comfort and fatigue based on the questionnaires. The results also suggest that the orientation of the hand used in grasping and attached modes is suitable only for lower-impact computer use. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Diabetes poses a considerable global health challenge,with varying levels of diabetes knowledge among healthcare professionals,highlighting the importance of diabetes *** Language Models(LLMs)provide new insights into diabetes training,but their performance in diabetes-related queries remains uncertain,especially outside the English language like *** first evaluated the performance of ten LLMs:ChatGPT-3.5,ChatGPT-4.0,Google Bard,LlaMA-7B,LlaMA2-7B,Baidu ERNIE Bot,Ali Tongyi Qianwen,MedGPT,HuatuoGPT,and Chinese LlaMA2-7B on diabetes-related queries,based on the Chinese National Certificate Examination for Primary Diabetes Care in China(NCE-CPDC)and the English Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes of Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United ***,we assessed the training of primary care physicians(PCPs)without and with the assistance of ChatGPT-4.0 in the NCE-CPDC examination to ascertain the reliability of LLMs as medical *** found that ChatGPT-4.0 outperformed other LLMs in the English examination,achieving a passing accuracy of 62.50%,which was significantly higher than that of Google Bard,LlaMA-7B,and *** the NCE-CPFC examination,ChatGPT-4.0,Ali Tongyi Qianwen,Baidu ERNIE Bot,Google Bard,MedGPT,and ChatGPT-3.5 successfully passed,whereas LlaMA2-7B,HuatuoGPT,Chinese LLaMA2-7B,and LlaMA-7B ***-4.0(84.82%)surpassed all PCPs and assisted most PCPs in the NCE-CPDC examination(improving by 1%–6.13%).In summary,LLMs demonstrated outstanding competence for diabetes-related questions in both the Chinese and English language,and hold great potential to assist future diabetes training for physicians globally.

Kawi Language is a kind of language which has developed in Java during the Hindu-Buddhist era in the ancient Indonesian archipelago. As the time passed, Kawi began to come to extinction. To overcome this, preservation of Kawi language can be done by enhancing the understanding of culture through the use of technology. Technology that can be used for cultural preservation is one of NLP based applications such as Kawi Language to Bahasa Translator Application which is developed in this research. The translator application is an application that translates from one language to another. The result of translation of the translator application is a language that is easy to understand by the people or commonly used language. This translator application is developed to processes Kawi Language text into bahasa based on search method which each word inserted. The stemming method used is Bobby Nazief & Mima Adriani Algorithm using Kawi Language rule. The translated Kawi Language text can be a word, sentence or paragraph with the result of the Text in Bahasa as well as words, sentences or paragraphs. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2018.

Hemoglobin is the protein molecule that binds oxygen in the blood. Hemoglobin level can be used as a benchmark of the human physiological condition, such as anemia, hypoxia, and postoperative bleeding. Generally, measurement of hemoglobin levels is performed by an invasive method that takes blood samples to be tested. This study offers a tele-monitoring system for measuring the hemoglobin level non-invasively, so it could reduce the possibility of infection or contamination to the body and can be monitored anywhere by using a website. This tele-monitoring device of non-invasive hemoglobin and oxygen saturation levels were designed by integrating the pulse oximetry sensor with signal conditioning circuit, Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, Ethernet module, an internet network, cloud server, and website. Pulse oximetry measured the oxygen saturation in the blood that indicate the vital state of human and became essential to determine the amount of hemoglobin level. The system performance in this study was tested on participants who had a good daily exercise and participants who never had daily activities to discover the correlation between hemoglobin levels with human physical activity and obtained 89% of accuracy. This system can be implemented as a personal device for monitoring the hemoglobin level and the oxygen saturation in daily used.

This research addresses the impact of the building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solutions on the performance of a residential building with the area of 2247 m2 at different regions of Coastal Anatolia. Three cities are chosen with respect to their solar heat gain as the lowest, highest and average. Hourly performances are calculated using the DOE software of Energyplus and installed peak PV power calculated as 84.2 kW. Our preliminary results showed that the annual heating and cooling energy consumption for the three locations vary between 1.44 kWh/m2-9.12 kWh/m2 and 22.2 kWh/m2-56.9 kWh/m2, respectively. The cooling demand is much higher than the heating demand for these coastal locations of Anatolia (as expected). The maximum use of the three cities is 56.9 kWh/m2 and according to results this load can be easily supplied by an 84.2 kWp PV. As these are preliminary results they can be treated within margins of ± 20 kW depending on the orientation of the building facades and the type of the solar cells. © 2018 IEEE.

The purpose of this research is to know public perception of biogas users in Jetak Village, Semarang Regency viewed from technological aspect, technical (biogas installation), biogas benefit, economy and environment. The method used qualitative descriptive with qualitative descriptive approach. The technique of determining key informants was done by purposive sampling. Data were obtained from cattle ranchers who lived in the study sites through interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this research is overall the perception about biogas energy get a positive response from user society. However, there are some things that should be considered for the government and others in providing assistance that is necessary to consider the evaluation and monitoring periodically so that the constraints experienced by the user community can be known early and can be found right solutions. In addition, the sustainability of the use of biogas energy can be done from generation to generation not just the aid which in the end becomes only useless materials.

Mangrove forests have an important function in human life that cannot be replaced by other functions. The existence of mangrove forests has six main functions, namely biological, ecological, physical, social, economic and chemical functions. This article discusses the description of mangrove forest management in meeting the needs of the economic and social functions of the fishing communities on the coast of Merauke Regency, Papua Province, which were reviewed descriptively using relevant literature studies. In terms of economic function, mangrove forests provide economic value for fishing communities because mangrove forests become habitat for crabs, fish and other marine biota that are captured and sold as the main source of family income. In addition, the use of mangrove forests by fishermen on the coast is used as firewood and building materials. The high utilization of mangrove forests by coastal communities that ignores ecological sustainability causes damage to mangrove forests that threatens the sustainability of ecological functions. Damage to mangrove forests in Merauke in the period 2000-2005 was recorded as wide as 2,416 ha while in the 2005-2010 period damage reached 2,233 ha of the total area of the Merauke mangrove forest which reached 216,001.95 Ha or 6.98% of the Merauke forest area. Based on this, the management of mangrove forest utilization needs to get more attention from various parties so that the ecological function of mangrove forests as a condition of sustainable development, especially for fishing communities on the coast, can be realized in Merauke Regency.
