With the increase in computer use for the last 10 years, it increases the size of cyber-attacks as well. Since most computers are connected to the network, they may suffer cyber-attacks. Because of these cyber threats, Cyber Security is becoming a really important area in the information technology area. Cyber Security is an area which is mainly responsible for dealing with cyber-attacks by hackers. The improvements and advancements in the information technology area allow cyber criminals to do really complicated and dangerous cyber-attacks. Cyber-attack methods that are being used today are much more effective than the ones in the past. Because of that, there is always a war between cyber security specialists and cyber attackers or hackers. Cyber security analysts, on the other hand, try to come up with new solutions to the methods developed by cyber criminals or hackers. The competition between them continuously advances and improves cyber security technologies every day. The improvements can be either in cyber security or cybercrime side. These days, traditional cyber security solutions are enough to fight against cyber-attacks, but can these solutions be further developed? This is the question everyone in the cyber security area is trying to answer. Of course, yes. Thanks to ai, which is one of the most popular technologies in the information technology area, it is used in many areas ranging from e-commerce, advertising, human resource & recruiting, video games, transportation, surveillance systems etc. ai has been used in cyber security over the last years. Although it also has negative effects, we are going to mostly talk about its positive sides in this article. We are going to go deep into how and why ai is used in cyber security, how ai improves and enhances the current traditional cyber security methods. Then, we will also talk about which ai techniques play an important role in the cyber security area. © 2023 IEEE.

Robotic surgery has been an upcoming scientific area for many years. However, several limitations have restricted the use of robotic surgery to a confined field of operations. In this context, the development and experimental evaluation of a novel prototype laparoscopic robotic surgical tool, that can expand the capabilities of the existing surgical robotic devices, is discussed in this article. Servo-motors are used as actuators in a tendon-driven actuation mechanism. The 3 Degree-of-Freedom (DoF) manipulator is a cascade configuration of three rotational joint modules, imitating the motions of a spherical wrist. The design, fabrication, and kinematics of the tool are presented, while the efficiency of the overall system is investigated through experimental studies, using an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensing modality as external reference. © 2023 IEEE.

artificial intelligence and blockchain are quickly integrating in daily life and business applications. When numerous information systems must access and analyze data in real-time in centralized systems and applications, such as healthcare, a bottleneck develops. This issue would be resolved by blockchain's decentralized database architecture, safe data storage, data exchange, and authentication. Additionally, ai can be present at the very top of the blockchain and produce insights from the shared data that is created and applied to forecasts. Blockchain is a cutting-edge Cybersecurity technology that creates chains by mutual consent between nodes that chronologically link new blocks to those previously stored in nodes. A number of industries, including banking, insurance, cybersecurity, forecasting, healthcare, and cryptocurrencies, among others, are growing more quickly as a result of technology convergence. The likelihood of these systems being hacked increases as more digital technologies are used and these businesses provide services. Blockchain technology and artificial intelligence can work together to create a strong defense against these dangers and security problems. We'll examine how blockchain and ai are merged in cybersecurity in this chapter. We'll go into more detail about how they help secure cyber-physical systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Terahertz (THz) (0.1-10 THz) wireless communication is one of the cornerstones of the next 6G wireless networks. THz frequencies have the ability to dramatically increase wireless capacity performance and enable high-resolution environment sensing if applied properly due to the enormous quantity of accessible bandwidth. However, the usage of wireless devices in high-frequency bands like THz is constrained by a very unpredictable and dynamic channel. The ultimate result is essentially unreliable intermittent connections since these channel constraints have a naturally restricted communication range and a high susceptibility to blocking and chemical absorption. Because of this, the THz band's potential for high-rate communications and high-resolution sensing may be hindered. This study thoroughly examines the steps necessary to build up and operate next-generation THz wireless networks that will work together to deliver a variety of communication and sensing services in this environment. We first lay the groundwork for this by defining the THz frequency range's fundamentals. Using these fundamentals as a foundation, we outline and carefully investigate seven specific qualities that characterize THz wireless systems: Some of the subjects discussed include the quasi-opticality of the band, wireless architectures suited for THz, synergy with lower frequency bands, cooperative sensing and communication systems, PHY-layer protocols, spectrum access techniques, and real-time network optimization. These seven distinctive features enable our understanding of how to re-engineer wireless systems as we know them today to fit THz bands and their specific settings. On the one hand, THz systems make use of its quasi-optimality and may turn any sensing opportunity into a communication problem, aiding in the development of a new breed of flexible wireless systems that can do many jobs beyond straightforward communications. Geometric graph neural networks (GNNs) have emerged as powerful tools for modeling molecular geometry. However, they encounter limitations in effectively capturing long-range interactions in large molecular systems due to the localization assumption of GNN. To address this challenge, we introduce Neural P3M, a versatile enhancer of geometric GNNs to expand the scope of their capabilities by incorporating mesh points alongside atoms and reimaging traditional mathematical operations in a trainable manner. Neural P3M exhibits flexibility across a wide range of molecular systems and demonstrates remarkable accuracy in predicting energies and forces, outperforming on benchmarks such as the MD22 dataset. It also achieves an average improvement of 22% on the OE62 dataset while integrating with various architectures. Smart cities are cities that are designed to be more efficient, sustainable, and connected. As our cities grow and become more complex, it's important to find new ways to address the challenges that arise, such as security, privacy, and mobility. This is where mobile cloud computing and biometric authentication come in. Mobile cloud computing is a way to provide cloud computing services to mobile devices, which means people can access services and data from anywhere and at any time. Biometric authentication is a method of identifying people based on their unique physical or behavioral characteristics, like fingerprints, facial recognition, or voice recognition. These two technologies can be combined to create a secure and personalized environment for residents and visitors in smart cities. By using mobile devices, IoT devices, wireless sensor networks, and edge computing, we can collect real-time data that can be used for big data analytics and machine learning. This means we can optimize city services, like traffic management, waste management, or energy consumption, and enhance the quality of life for people living in smart cities. However, the use of these technologies also poses significant security and privacy risks, so it's important to design systems that are secure and privacy-preserving. This requires interdisciplinary research and collaboration between experts in different fields. In summary, mobile cloud computing and biometric authentication have the potential to transform smart cities by creating a more secure and personalized environment for residents and visitors. But we must also be mindful of the potential risks and work together to address them. © 2023 IEEE.

This article examines the security and privacy concerns associated with the integration of blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) in communication systems. As the IoT continues to grow and evolve, there is an increasing need to ensure the security and privacy of the vast amounts of data generated and exchanged between connected devices. Blockchain technology offers promising solutions for enhancing security and privacy in communication systems;however, it also presents its own set of challenges and vulnerabilities. This article explores the existing literature on the topic and analyzes the materials and methods used in previous studies. The results and discussions delve into the key security and privacy concerns in communication systems with blockchain and IoT, including data integrity, authentication, and confidentiality, scalability, and consensus mechanisms. Finally, the article concludes with recommendations and future directions for addressing these concerns and advancing the security and privacy of communication systems in the context of blockchain technology and the IoT. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the significant aspects for enabling the intelligent behavior to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) is by providing an algorithm for navigation through the dynamic and unseen environment. Therefore, to be autonomous, they need sensors to perceive their surroundings and utilize gathered information to decide which action to take. Having that in mind, in this paper, the authors designed the system for obstacle avoidance and also investigate the elements of the Markov decision process and their influence on each other. The flying mobile robot used within the considered problem is quadrotor type and has an integrated Lidar sensor which is utilized to detect obstacles. The sequential decision-making model based on Q-learning is trained within the MATLAB Simulink environment. The simulation results demonstrate that the UAV can navigate through the environment in most algorithm runs without colliding with surrounding obstacles.

Edge computing is a prospective notion for expanding the potential of cloud computing. It is vital to maintaining a decent atmosphere free of all forms of security and breaches in order to continue utilizing computer services. The security concerns surrounding the edge computing environment has been impeded as a result of the security issues that surround the area. Many researchers have looked into edge computing security issues, however, not all have thoroughly studied the needs. Security requirements are the goals that specify the capabilities and operations that a process that is carried out by a system in order to eliminate various security flaws. The purpose of this study is to give a complete overview of the many different artificial intelligence technologies that are now being utilized for edge computing security with the intention of aiding research in the future in locating research potential. This article analyzed the most recent research and shed light on the following topics: state-of-the-art techniques used to combat security threats, technological trends used by the method, metrics utilize to assess the techniques' ability, and opportunities of research for future researchers in the area of artificial intelligence for edge computing security. © 2022 IEEE.
