Frequency selective surface (FSS) was first created by G. Marconi and C. S. Franklin in 1919 and is known as the "Reflector for Wireless Telegraph and Telephone," making a significant contribution to our way of life. In terms of the 1960s, it is impossible to overlook the success attained with the employment of regularly selective surfaces in military intelligence units. These structures, which were occasionally applied to land, air, and sea platforms, displayed low pass, high pass, band pass, or band stop characteristics for particular frequencies and served as electromagnetic filters. Many accomplishments have been made, particularly with platforms that are invisible to target detection systems. The geometry and arrangement of the unit cell in these structures, which are successfully used in many fields such as wireless communication systems, radars, and microwaves, allows for the reflection or transmission of the incoming electromagnetic wave. This is made possible by the advancement of technology. High-speed internet connectivity is possible using millimeter wave, a frequency spectrum between 30 GHz and 300 GHz. Its significance has grown in the fields of radio astronomy, radar, remote sensing, and wireless communications.

Mobile edge computing (MEC) and blockchain technology are two rapidly evolving areas in computer science that have the potential to significantly impact the design and operation of distributed systems. MEC involves the deployment of computing resources and services at the edge of the network, closer to the end users, enabling lowlatency, high-bandwidth applications such as augmented reality and machine learning. Blockchain technology, on the other hand, is a distributed database that allows for secure, transparent, and immutable record-keeping, with potential applications in a wide range of industries. In this project, we explore the integration of MEC and blockchain technology for the management of distributed computing resources at the edge of the network. We review the state of the art in these two areas, including existing projects and prototypes, and describe our materials and method for evaluating their potential for integration. Our results show that the combination of MEC and blockchain has the potential to enable new applications and services that require both low latency and secure, decentralized data management. We conclude by summarizing the main contributions of our work and discussing future directions for research in this area. Our findings have implications for the design and operation of distributed systems, and have the potential to enable new applications and services in a wide range of industries.

In this report, we explore the key challenges and threats facing network security in wired and wireless environments, as well as the technologies and best practices for addressing these challenges. We provide an overview of the key concepts and terminology related to network security, trust, and privacy, and discuss the role of encryption in maintaining trust and privacy in these environments. We also examine common attack vectors and countermeasures and offer some recommendations for best practices in the realm of network security.

We model a compositionally graded heterostructure using the effective mass approach with a screened Coulomb potential. Approximate analytical solutions to the model are compared with a Neural Network output and good agreement is achieved, paving the way for artificial intelligence modeling of systems with graded composition. © 2022 IEEE.

The term "Cyber Security" is getting more and more popular and important over the last few years. Since computers and most of the devices are connected to the internet, they are likely to be hacked by the hackers. In the past, this issue was not a big problem, because not every device is required to be connected to the internet or the internet was not popular as today. But the case has changed over the years. All the changes in the technology area also changed the cyber-attack models as well. With the development of technology and the change of usage of the internet over the last years cyber-attacks have become more common and popular by the hackers. Hackers have discovered that they have an opportunity to steal or earn money in a short time without having to spend too much effort. These days, the type of cyber-attacks is not the same as the ones in the past. As time passes, the cyber-attack methods are also changing and evolving. Today, hackers are using more advanced and effective cyber-attack methods compared to past years. There are many methods that are impossible to cover all of them in this article. Our main focus will be on social engineering attacks in this article. Social engineering attacks use different approaches to cyber attacking. Unlike trying to explode a victim’s social media password etc. using advanced exporting programs, algorithms or techniques, social engineering attacks focus on fooling victims into providing their data to hackers by themselves without using or implementing any password cracking, exploiting techniques etc. We will go over what social media engineering is, type of social engineering methods, what countermeasures can be used to protect from social engineering and more in this article.

artificial intelligence has a wide range of uses in industries like business, health, education, and transportation. The aviation sector of the transportation business is not far behind; ai has several uses in this sector. Technology prognosis, applications, and projected market demand are the key subjects of this paper. The primary goal of this article is to provide more information on the use and management of artificial intelligence in the aviation industry and to assist readers in realizing the greater potential that ai can bring to the industry. The article also examines the growth that the sector underwent before and after the development of technology. The reader will also be sufficiently exposed to aviation technology. Examples that are pertinent to the topic will be used to illustrate how machine learning models are currently being used in the aviation industry. Machine learning affects the aviation business, especially the manufacturing sector, as it deals with the machine's learning process and mines the essential data to ensure that the work is completed effectively and efficiently. This report also discusses the fear that both current and future aviation specialists have regarding the desire for ai in aviation. This topic will also be critically examined.

Smart cities are cities that are designed to be more efficient, sustainable, and connected. As our cities grow and become more complex, it's important to find new ways to address the challenges that arise, such as security, privacy, and mobility. This is where mobile cloud computing and biometric authentication come in. Mobile cloud computing is a way to provide cloud computing services to mobile devices, which means people can access services and data from anywhere and at any time. Biometric authentication is a method of identifying people based on their unique physical or behavioral characteristics, like fingerprints, facial recognition, or voice recognition. These two technologies can be combined to create a secure and personalized environment for residents and visitors in smart cities. By using mobile devices, IoT devices, wireless sensor networks, and edge computing, we can collect real-time data that can be used for big data analytics and machine learning. This means we can optimize city services, like traffic management, waste management, or energy consumption, and enhance the quality of life for people living in smart cities. However, the use of these technologies also poses significant security and privacy risks, so it's important to design systems that are secure and privacy-preserving. This requires interdisciplinary research and collaboration between experts in different fields. In summary, mobile cloud computing and biometric authentication have the potential to transform smart cities by creating a more secure and personalized environment for residents and visitors. But we must also be mindful of the potential risks and work together to address them.

This app helps you access your study materials on your mobile phone. It is an application that allows you to easily communicate with the instructor. Instructors can provide reading materials such as text, images, videos, and links to other sources such as YouTube. It can also be an online video session between instructor and student. Furthermore, this app is a miniature/similar app that adds a laboratory simulation to the university's current online education system (UZEM SYSTEM). This is because the app is aimed at engineering students, and most engineering courses require practicality, so lab internships are required. This allows students to perform laboratory simulations with the help of instructors. The student will need to connect into the app in order to access the contents. Both the teacher and the student will need to select a course from a selection of courses after logging into the site. The chosen course will offer a list of alternatives for learning/teaching techniques, including face-to-face instruction, lab simulations, presentations on a screen, messaging, etc.

In a heterogeneous wireless environment, there are many different radio access technologies (RATs), such as Wi-Fi and 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G, which each have a different degree of coverage and processing power to meet various service requirements. A mobile user may have access to various access networks in such a situation. On the PC of each user, numerous programs with varied Quality of Service (QoS) requirements can operate simultaneously. It would be advantageous for a multi-interface terminal to use two or more interfaces simultaneously in order to improve performance. However, using multiple networks at once could use up more energy than just using one interface. Therefore, energy use must to be taken into account when analyzing the Flow/Interface Relationship (FIA). This paper presents a novel method for choosing the ideal FIA that achieves the best trade-off between all the characteristics taken into account, dubbed Smart Tabu Search (STS). STS considers user preferences, network circumstances, network expenses, application QoS specifications, and battery life of mobile devices. We use simulations and testbed experiments to validate our concept. Professionals are now able to diagnose and monitor patients remotely because to the growing use of healthcare monitoring devices. One of the most frequent occurrences that affects the reliability of information transmission in any network is congestion, which is defined as the unchecked increase in traffic relative to network capacity. With the use of a mesh network, wireless sensors, and some of the most significant models for vital signs, the article aims to provide a realistic simulation environment for a healthcare system. The simulator environment is a helpful tool for assessing the dependability and effectiveness of the healthcare system in a realistic setting. Text mining was used to examine the academic publications on blockchain technology and cybersecurity that were published in huge digital libraries. Automated text mining methods like topic modeling and key word extraction are utilized in this literature study to extract topics from a vast corpus of literature. This article emphasizes the cross-disciplinary character of blockchain technology in the context of cybersecurity. The outcomes also show the risks and security holes that emerge as blockchain technology matures. Nevertheless, the investigation this article also outlines research gaps in the area of computer security and recommends research directions for future work that will be necessary to create safe blockchain platforms.
