Nearly three-quarters of the total power used in the world is consumed by the built environment sector. Therefore, looking for viable methods to reduce building energy needs and decrease negative environmental repercussions is vital. By incorporating intelligence into applications, everyone in the current situation has become intelligent, which lessens the load of constant interruption or human control. By using Machine to Machine interactions, intelligence enables the ability to connect more real-time parameters and make moral judgments in perilous circumstances. The current study examined the framework, approach, and performance of currently available AI-based techniques. According to the research, choosing the best machine and deep learning model for a given task can be difficult. Among the primary areas of study in relation to the vast amounts of data collected is the viability in the practice of the used algorithms, both standard machine learning and the more recent branch known as deep learning. Present a quantitative analysis contrasting the effectiveness of conventional deep learning and machine learning strategies using the direction of human movement in detecting the applications based on the analogue pyroelectric infrared sensor (PIR) outputs. Here, Random Forest is used as the machine learning method because of its great prediction accuracy. Over deeper datasets, deeper CNNs outperform shallow models as a deep learning method. The study demonstrates that traditional Machine Learning performs with detecting values within the first few seconds, improving real-time detection. Additionally, it might be used on more smart buildings without upgrades. © 2023 IEEE.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one of the most common imaging methods in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors. Multimodal brain tumor MRI automatic segmentation is significant for assisting the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumor diseases. In this paper, we first introduce the background and status quo of multimodal brain tumor MRI segmentation. Then, we divide the multimodal brain tumor MRI segmentation methods in recent years into three ways according to the network architecture. The basic theory, development process, research status, advantages and disadvantages of these three network architectures are also summarized respectively. In addition, we also introduce several publicly available datasets and evaluation metrics of brain tumor segmentation. Finally, we summarize and prospect the segmentation methods of multimodal brain tumor MRI. This article mainly introduces the recent research progress of multimodal brain tumor MRI segmentation, which will provide some help for researchers and practitioners in this domain. © 2023 SPIE.

The widespread availability of digital multimedia data has led to a new challenge in digital *** source camera identification algorithms usually rely on various traces in the capturing ***,these traces have become increasingly difficult to extract due to wide availability of various image processing *** Neural Networks(CNN)-based algorithms have demonstrated good discriminative capabilities for different brands and even different models of camera ***,their performances is not ideal in case of distinguishing between individual devices of the same model,because cameras of the same model typically use the same optical lens,image sensor,and image processing algorithms,that result in minimal overall *** this paper,we propose a camera forensics algorithm based on multi-scale feature fusion to address these *** proposed algorithm extracts different local features from feature maps of different scales and then fuses them to obtain a comprehensive feature *** representation is then fed into a subsequent camera fingerprint classification *** upon the Swin-T network,we utilize Transformer Blocks and Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)modules to fuse multi-scale features from different stages of the backbone ***,we conduct experiments on established datasets to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

We developed an information system using an object-oriented programming language and a distributed database (DDB) consisting of multiple interconnected databases across a computer network, managed by a distributed database management system (DDBMS) for easy access. An intelligent system was designed to assess the difficulty level of preliminary exams and select top-performing advanced students using a Neutrosophic Deep Learning Model. The dataset was randomly split into training (80%) and testing (20%) sets, and the model, trained with the Adam optimizer at a 0.001 learning rate over 50 epochs, incorporated early stopping based on validation loss. This system, implemented at a traditional Egyptian university, achieved a 95% accuracy in predicting student dropout. Student behavior, influenced by personal, environmental, and academic factors, is often evaluated subjectively, leading to inconsistent results. Traditional machine learning approaches struggle with the inherent uncertainty in behavioral data. To address this, we combined neutrosophic theory—a mathematical framework that accounts for truth, falsity, and indeterminacy—with deep learning, which excels at learning complex data relationships, to predict student outcomes such as dropout rates. Evaluating the model on student data, including attendance and grades, showed superior accuracy, achieving a determination coefficient of 0.95, demonstrating the approach's potential for identifying at-risk students and enabling targeted interventions. © 2025, University of New Mexico. Mining and acquiring knowledge technologies have played an increasingly important role in the healthcare system in latest generations, with the objective of transforming all data into an intelligible format. Medical professionals make 12 percent to 13 percent inaccuracies throughout the prognosis process, according to several design dictates. As a result, an automated ailment forecasting system is required for improved health diagnosis, and greater reliability is emphasised for assessment purposes. Furthermore, numerous researchers have emphasised the importance of prediction performance in order to improve the design of a computerized method. By minimising computational burden and factors that add to computational effort, the developed automation methodology is especially suited to predict cardiovascular diseases. The retrieved and chosen information are input into the classifier model in terms of enhancing forecast accuracy. For varying degree of success, the publicly available baseline heart disease database is being explored. Pattern learning techniques are used to examine the characteristics in both linear and non-linear ways. To improve the prediction rate, Linearly Iterated Support Vector Regression (LISVR) and stacked monkey optimization (SMO) are used for classification. This calculations were carried out in the MATLAB 2016b framework, and the analysis is carried out using a variety of available methods. The predicted model's exactness is 98.5 percent, specificity is 98.8 percent, recall is 99.5%, and F -measure is 99.28 percent. In comparison to current procedures, the obtained findings indicate that perhaps the expected LISVR- SMO operates more effectively than previous techniques and provides a good trading. © 2022 IEEE.

The aim of this research is to create an intelligent vehicle system that can effectively mitigate the risks associated with drowsy driving, thereby preventing road accidents. Various factors like driver exhaustion, challenging road conditions, and adverse weather contribute to motor vehicle crashes, leading to over 1.35 million deaths annually, as estimated by entities such as the World Health Organization (WHO). To achieve this, the development of a robust warning system is crucial. In this study, we proposed an alert system to detect drowsy drivers. It utilizes a video stream process (VSP) to analyze the gaze's eye-aspect ratio (EAR) and geometric distance through an innate reflex model. Additionally, a facial landmark-based algorithm is employed for accurate eye recognition. When driver drowsiness is detected, the system issues a warning message, along with crash impact and location information, and activates the voice surveillance system. The suggested technique establishes a non-invasive approach for evaluating driver weariness in connection with accident severity. The camera, the fundamental element of this system, continuously acquires facial landmarks recognized by designated locations and analyzes them. Drivers who are distracted and have poor lighting may show signs of sleepiness. © 2024 IEEE.

A quick forecast of the region's structural damage following an earthquake is crucial for community relief and rescue efforts. Following an earthquake, getting detailed information about buildings in seismic disaster zones is frequently impossible. The information available is essential to estimate seismic damage to urban structures accurately. To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a novel method for quickly assessing building damage through extensive use of field research and data collected from earth observation. A model is created and trained to predict building damage from an earthquake. The algorithm used to indicate the building damage from the quake is Elastic net regression. The elastic net is a regularized regression method used to predict building damage from an earthquake. The proposed Elastic net regression is validated with standard accuracy and effectiveness compared with the Random forest and decision tree methods. The proposed model's outcomes show that elastic net regression is the most effective predictive model for predicting building damage. © 2023 IEEE.

Pythagorean fuzzy sets, as a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, have a wide range of applications in many fields including image recognition, data mining, decision making, etc. However, there is little research on clustering algorithms of Pythagorean fuzzy sets. In this paper, a novel clustering idea under Pythagorean fuzzy environment is presented. Firstly, the concept of feature vector of Pythagorean fuzzy number (PFN) is presented by taking into account five parameters of PFN, and some new methods to compute the similarity measure of PFNs by applying the feature vector are proposed. Furthermore, a fuzzy similarity matrix by utilizing similarity measure of PFNs is established. Later, the fuzzy similarity matrix is transformed into a fuzzy equivalent matrix which is utilized to establish a novel Pythagorean fuzzy clustering algorithm. Based on the proposed clustering algorithm, a novel multiple attribute decision making (MADM) method under Pythagorean fuzzy environment is presented. To illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed technique, an application example is offered. © 2024 – IOS Press. All rights reserved.

One of the most expensive natural disasters that affect people, earthquakes occur suddenly. As a result, earthquake prediction has grown in importance and difficulty for humanity. Although numerous existing approaches attempt to handle this problem, the majority rely on seismic indicators created by geologists or feature vectors extracted by the deep learning techniques to describe an earthquake for the earthquake prediction. Combining these two categories of characteristics to enhance ultimate Earthquake prediction performance is still a challenge. In order to achieve this, we put forth a deep learning model that successfully fuses explicit and implicit information for earthquake prediction. Here, we use a Convolutional Neural Network to extract implicit features while using eight precursory pattern-based indicators as the explicit features. After that, an attention-based approach is suggested to effectively combine these two categories of traits. A dynamic loss function is the additionally created to address the imbalance of category in seismic data. On a test picture dataset, the performances of multiple CNN models are contrasted. In order to classify earthquake damage, the model is further developed as a web application. Damage assessment values, which are determined using the Convolutional Neural Network model and gradient-weighted class activation mappings, are used to determine the extent of the damage. The web-based program can efficiently and automatically categorize earthquake-related structural damage, making it appropriate for decision-making in emergency response, resource allocation, and policy formation. © 2023 IEEE.

The secure authentication of user data is crucial in various sectors, including digital banking, medical applications and e-governance, especially for images. Secure communication protects against data tampering and forgery, thereby bolstering the foundation for informed decision-making, whether managing traffic, enhancing public safety, or monitoring environmental conditions. Conventional visual cryptographic protocols offer solutions, particularly for color images, though they grapple with challenges such as high computational demands and reliance on multiple cover images. Additionally, they often require third-party authorization to verify the image integrity. On the other hand, visual cryptography offers a streamlined approach. It divides images into shares, where each pixel represented uniquely, thus allowing visual decryption without complex computations. The optimized multi-tiered authentication protocol (OMTAP), which is integrated with the visual sharing scheme (VSS), takes secure image sharing to the next level. It reduces share count, prioritizes image fidelity and transmission security, and introduces the self-verification of decrypted image integrity through asymmetric key matrix generators, thus eliminating external validation. Rigorous testing has confirmed OMTAP's robustness and broad applicability, thereby ensuring that decrypted images maintain their quality with a peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of 40 dB and full integrity at the receiver's end. © 2024 American Institute of Mathematical sciences.
