The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV) are poised to revolutionize the automotive industry, offering safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions. This review article explores the current state of AVs, role of AI in AV, challenges and hurdles, Real world applications & development, its critical technological components, and their impact on society. This paper presents a wide array of applications of AI in AV, elaborating on the way complex sensor fusion, computer vision, and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms makes AVs perceive their surroundings, form critical opinions, and carry out accurate motions. AI is making real time interpretations of great quantities of data which are paving the way for safer and more effective navigation under a diversity of traffic circumstances, from sensor fusion to decision-making algorithms. The next section of this paper elaborates on the role of AI in the field of AV in perceiving, planning, and navigating through real world environment, while also talking about issues of integration and ethics. This paper further identifies its social, economic, and environmental consequences, resulting from mass use of AV. This article discusses the latest developments and opportunities in the regulatory environment, gives an overview of how AV define transportation in the near future. This paper also explores the levels of autonomy of AVs as defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and defines the process from driver assistance to full automation. It examines the ethical and technical considerations arising at each instant and emphasizes the key role AI continues to play in providing more autonomy while preserving security and dependability. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, the frequency and intensity of natural disasters have increased, necessitating more efficient and responsive disaster management systems. This paper presents a novel disaster management solution leveraging crowdsourced data to enhance disaster response and coordination. The system bridges the gap between citizens and emergency management officials by composing a mobile application for citizens to send real-time disaster alerts and a web application for administrators to monitor and manage these alerts. A customized DBSCAN algorithm, adapted to use haversine distance, is deployed to detect clusters of disaster alerts in real time, indicating potential disaster events. Upon cluster detection, administrators can delineate affected areas on a map, triggering notifications to users within these regions and enabling them to send help requests with images and messages. These help requests are processed using the BLIP model for image captioning and the ChatGPT API for categorization, assigning relevant tags to each request. The system provides administrators with real-time data analysis features, including map filtering and citizen help request category visualization, enabling more informed decision-making. Utilizing a cloud-based architecture ensures scalability, reliability, and efficient processing of large volumes of data. This research demonstrates the system's capability to provide timely alerts and comprehensive situational awareness, ultimately contributing to more efficient disaster management. © 2024 IEEE.

The internet, social media, and other cutting-edge technologies are all contributing to the exponential growth of digital information. This makes interpreting and applying this enormous amount of data both possible and challenging. Our research proposes a smart system that can convert unprocessed text into a knowledge graph in order to address this. This system makes use of the graph database Neo4j. Although there are currently available tools for linking entities and models to extract relationships, such as Spacy, NLTK, and Flair, their combined use is inefficient. Our suggested method seeks to efficiently blend entity linkage and relation extraction, allowing us to convert raw data into a knowledge graph. Recently, angle measurements have been performed using a goniometer, but the complex motion of shoulder movement has made these measurements intricate. The angle of rotation of the shoulder is particularly difficult to measure from an upright position because of the complicated base and moving axes. This article presents a real-time shoulder angle measurement system utilizing computer vision and machine learning techniques, specifically designed for the rehabilitation of frozen shoulder and related conditions. The system leverages MediaPipe, an open-source framework, to capture and analyze shoulder movements accurately. With its modular architecture, the system processes video feeds in real time, detecting key body points and calculating shoulder angles, thereby providing immediate feedback to patients and therapists. The study evaluates the system's effectiveness in clinical and home-based environments, highlighting its potential to enhance physiotherapy by enabling precise, data-driven treatment plans. This research study also identifies current research gaps, proposes solutions, and explores future enhancements, including environmental adaptation, mobile integration, and the extension to other joints. This study has attempted to estimate the shoulder joint internal/external rotation angle using the combination of pose estimation artificial intelligence (AI), Computer vision, and a machine learning mode. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

This research introduces a comprehensive method for Reverse Image Search (RIS) this can be also called as CBIR that is Content Based Image Retrieval designed for large datasets with more than 50,000 photos in 25 different classes. The approach uses sophisticated deep learning feature extraction methods, such as Auto-encoders and CNNs, to extract complex visual representations for reliable content characterization. We incorporate advanced indexing techniques to address the issues of scalability and retrieval efficiency. The resultant framework exhibits higher accuracy and speed and provides an optimal and sophisticated solution for picture retrieval problems. In the era of information overload on online platforms, efficient access to news content has become crucial for individuals leading busy lives. This paper addresses the need for categorizing vast amounts of online news data into specific sections like sports, entertainment, business, finance, etc., catering to users' personalized interests. Leveraging Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, the study utilized a BBC News dataset from Kaggle and supplemented it with an additional dataset generated through web scraping using BeautifulSoup. With up to 20,000 rows covering sports, business, entertainment, politics, and technology categories, the research applied Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Gaussian Naive Bayes (NB), and Multi-Head Attention Transformer algorithms. Nowadays, people deal with major psychological issues on a daily basis, often in the absence of a desired support system. In the field of psychology, focus is on the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, goals, and interests of individuals. The psychologist conventionally considers various types of personality traits, like the Big 5 personality traits, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the OCEAN Model (Openness, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Extraversion, Neuroticism), and other methods also considered for measuring personality. To forecast personality traits like extraversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism, consider the name "Big Five personality traits"It is a universal model to forecast these personality traits. Studies on personality prediction that identify personality disorders from user content on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp primarily rely on user behavior on these platforms. A number of popular Deep Learning (DL) techniques have advanced recently, including Deep Belief Networks (DBNs), Convolution Neural Networks (CNNs), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs). Examine these methods in terms of single and multiple modalities, including psychological, audio, video, text, and image information. Researchers currently focus on predicting personality traits using single-modality text features, static facial images, audio, and video clips, including interview recordings and YouTube videos. Therefore, the current study highlights that personality prediction mostly relies on written text, audio and video datasets used in Machine Learning (ML) and DL models. Additional investigation is needed to resolve ethical concerns and justify the use of psychological datasets and DL models to evaluate personality traits.
