Recently, angle measurements have been performed using a goniometer, but the complex motion of shoulder movement has made these measurements intricate. The angle of rotation of the shoulder is particularly difficult to measure from an upright position because of the complicated base and moving axes. This article presents a real-time shoulder angle measurement system utilizing computer vision and machine learning techniques, specifically designed for the rehabilitation of frozen shoulder and related conditions. The system leverages MediaPipe, an open-source framework, to capture and analyze shoulder movements accurately. With its modular architecture, the system processes video feeds in real time, detecting key body points and calculating shoulder angles, thereby providing immediate feedback to patients and therapists. The study evaluates the system's effectiveness in clinical and home-based environments, highlighting its potential to enhance physiotherapy by enabling precise, data-driven treatment plans. This research study also identifies current research gaps, proposes solutions, and explores future enhancements, including environmental adaptation, mobile integration, and the extension to other joints. This study has attempted to estimate the shoulder joint internal/external rotation angle using the combination of pose estimation artificial intelligence (AI), Computer vision, and a machine learning mode. © 2024 IEEE.

Fake Face Detection Based on Fusion of Spatial Texture and High-Frequency Noise

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the widespread dissemination of manipulated facial images, significantly impacting people's daily lives. With the continuous advancement of Deepfake technology, the generated counterfeit facial images have become increasingly challenging to distinguish. There is an urgent need for a more robust and convincing detection method. Current detection methods mainly operate in the spatial domain and transform the spatial domain into other domains for analysis. With the emergence of transformers, some researchers have also combined traditional convolutional networks with transformers for detection. This paper explores the artifacts left by Deepfakes in various domains and, based on this exploration, proposes a detection method that utilizes the steganalysis rich model to extract high-frequency noise to complement spatial features. We have designed two main modules to fully leverage the interaction between these two aspects based on traditional convolutional neural networks. The first is the multi-scale mixed feature attention module, which introduces artifacts from high-frequency noise into spatial textures, thereby enhancing the model's learning of spatial texture features. The second is the multi-scale channel attention module, which reduces the impact of background noise by weighting the features. Our proposed method was experimentally evaluated on mainstream datasets, and a significant amount of experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in detecting Deepfake forged faces, outperforming the majority of existing methods.

This research introduces a comprehensive method for Reverse Image Search (RIS) this can be also called as CBIR that is Content Based Image Retrieval designed for large datasets with more than 50,000 photos in 25 different classes. The approach uses sophisticated deep learning feature extraction methods, such as Auto-encoders and CNNs, to extract complex visual representations for reliable content characterization. We incorporate advanced indexing techniques to address the issues of scalability and retrieval efficiency. The resultant framework exhibits higher accuracy and speed and provides an optimal and sophisticated solution for picture retrieval problems. This effort is a major step forward in improving the capabilities of RIS systems, offering a flexible tool for real-world applications that need for thorough and effective image retrieval across a range of classes. © 2024 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

In agriculture, the sector grapples with pressing challenges arising from climate change, water shortages, and pest infestations. Particularly affecting farmers in developing nations, these challenges amplify issues of food insecurity and poverty, necessitating innovative solutions for sustainable global agricultural progress. Addressing the complexities of climate variability, water scarcity, and pest outbreaks requires comprehensive tools and information. The absence of predictive insights intensifies crop losses and hampers overall profitability. In response, this research introduces DigiFarmer, an innovative solution employing advanced machine learning models. DigiFarmer adopts a holistic approach, encompassing crop disease detection, weed classification using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and crop quality analysis with a Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LGBM) classifier. Yield prediction is facilitated by the Random Forest algorithm, with real-time weather data integration enhancing efficacy. DigiFarmer stands out for empowering farmers with tools for sustainable and resilient agriculture. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, DigiFarmer not only addresses immediate challenges but equips farmers with foresight to mitigate future risks. In the era of information overload on online platforms, efficient access to news content has become crucial for individuals leading busy lives. This paper addresses the need for categorizing vast amounts of online news data into specific sections like sports, entertainment, business, finance, etc., catering to users' personalized interests. Leveraging Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, the study utilized a BBC News dataset from Kaggle and supplemented it with an additional dataset generated through web scraping using BeautifulSoup. With up to 20,000 rows covering sports, business, entertainment, politics, and technology categories, the research applied Random Forest, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Gaussian Naive Bayes (NB), and Multi-Head Attention Transformer algorithms. The findings and recommendations extend to technologies suitable for both news text classification and user-specific content recommendation in this evolving digital landscape. © 2024 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

Nowadays, people deal with major psychological issues on a daily basis, often in the absence of a desired support system. In the field of psychology, focus is on the thoughts, feelings, behaviors, goals, and interests of individuals. The psychologist conventionally considers various types of personality traits, like the Big 5 personality traits, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the OCEAN Model (Openness, Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, Extraversion, Neuroticism), and other methods also considered for measuring personality. To forecast personality traits like extraversion, agreeableness, openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism, consider the name "Big Five personality traits"It is a universal model to forecast these personality traits. Studies on personality prediction that identify personality disorders from user content on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp primarily rely on user behavior on these platforms. A number of popular Deep Learning (DL) techniques have advanced recently, including Deep Belief Networks (DBNs), Convolution Neural Networks (CNNs), and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs). Examine these methods in terms of single and multiple modalities, including psychological, audio, video, text, and image information. Researchers currently focus on predicting personality traits using single-modality text features, static facial images, audio, and video clips, including interview recordings and YouTube videos. Therefore, the current study highlights that personality prediction mostly relies on written text, audio and video datasets used in Machine Learning (ML) and DL models. Additional investigation is needed to resolve ethical concerns and justify the use of psychological datasets and DL models to evaluate personality traits. The rapid development of blockchain technology has led to many innovations, with the widespread use of smart contracts being particularly notable. However, this trend has spawned diverse blockchain scams, including the Ponzi scheme, which takes the form of Ponzi contracts. Due to blockchain users' misunderstanding of blockchain transparency, this scam can often result in significant financial losses. To complicate matters further, the vast majority of smart contracts deployed on blockchain networks are not open source, and users can only see the contract's bytecode. This situation makes Ponzi contracts even more challenging to identify, making it difficult for users to judge the security and legitimacy of a contract beforehand, thus increasing the risk of being defrauded. Most existing work uses only bytecode for detection and cannot fully utilize the corresponding source code information. In this paper, we propose a novel bimodal learning-fusion framework for enhancing Ponzi contract detection only in the presence of bytecode. Firstly, we employ the semantic-aware neural network to extract semantic feature from source code and bytecode. Then, we propose a modal transformation strategy to learn the relationship between source code and bytecode. Finally, a modal attention mechanism is introduced to construct a fusion representation to detect the contract even in the absence of source code modality. Experimental results show that the method performs better than existing methods that use machine learning for detection of Ponzi contracts. © 2024 IEEE.

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) systems are becoming relevant in the fast-expanding terrain of large-scale networks because of their efficiency in concurrently managing many users. This is true since NOMA systems let numerous users concurrently be managed. On the other hand, the intricacy of these networks leaves them vulnerable to a wide spectrum of attacks, including the more advanced and erratic NOMA attacks on the network. These strikes could produce major disturbances that would compromise the quality of service and cast questions regarding the general network security. It has been demonstrated that the effective projection of these hazards is limited by standard linear and probabilistic techniques. This is true as contemporary methods fail to adequately capture the basic non-linear dynamics of these large-scale networks. This article offers a novel method for NOMA attack prediction by means of a non-linear chaotic belief process. The results are shown here. To recreate the uncertainty and intricate interactions inside the network, the proposed method which is the logistic map which in turn generates the sequences for ensuring the accurate iterative updates which in turn provides better scalability and precision. This integrates belief networks with chaos theory. More exactly, we capture the random and nonlinear aspect of network dynamics by building belief values indicating the likelihood of an attack by use of a chaotic map. After that, the belief values proliferate across the network in search of defects and project the probability of NOMA attacks. Effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by test results on a simulated large-scale network simulation. With a prediction accuracy of 92.7%, the chaotic belief mechanism obtained much above the average accuracy of 78.4% of traditional linear prediction systems. A data lake is a centralized repository where you may store both structured and unstructured data at any scale. Unlike typical data warehouses, which need data structure for storage, data lakes allow you to store raw data in its natural state. This adaptability makes data lakes suitable for storing large volumes of various data kinds, including photographs, videos, log files, sensor data, and others. When integrating a data lake with Power Business intelligence (BI), organizations can harness the power of both technologies to gain valuable insights from their data. This paper discuss the concept of constructing a cloud-based data lake optimized for Power BI, leveraging leading cloud storage services like Azure data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Amazon S3. By seamlessly integrating Power BI with the cloud data lake, organizations can overcome traditional storage limitations and reap numerous benefits. The practical applications in advanced analytics, customer insights, IoT data management, and data discovery underscore the real-world utility of cloud data lakes.
