Enhancing Educational Video Discovery Using Advanced Latent Semantic Analysis

The rapid growth of online educational videos has created abundant learning resources, but also has challenges in discovering high-quality, relevant content. This project mainly focuses on video-based content analysis and providing high-quality learning sources for scholars, easing the best possible way to discover accurate resources. Existing Systems often rely on round-robin, random selection which fails to grasp semantics and linguistic complexity. The proposed system focuses on content-based analytics using NLP, where the extraction of transcripts from videos, perform relevance assessment which maps content to concept and extract insights using Latent Semantic Analysis which effectively captures underlying structures in the transcript. Complexity Assessment measures readability metrics using the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level and SMOG Index. Created a web-based interface for easy access to educational videos, with built-in analytics to assess relevance. The insights are shared with scholars to refine content and better meet user requirements.

The fundamental challenge in clinical practice is predicting whether patients with cognitive symptoms or impairment will improve or stay stable. Population ageing is a worldwide phenomena with various impacts. Among dementia, Alzheimer disease (AD) is common in the elderly which is the most common form of dementia and may contribute to 60–70% of cases. An early and precise AD diagnosis enhances patient quality of life. In this study, we propose an optimal group-wise non-rigid image registration technique for dementia (AD) prediction. We introduce an improved cuckoo search optimization (ICSO) algorithm to search optimal group-wise dense correspondence in large image sets in non-rigid image registration which reduce dimensionality of the search space. Then, we illustrate a teacher-student learning based optimization algorithm which cooperates with PLS regression to extract deformation which separates the relationship information suitable for each other from the raw relationship information. After that, we compute the distribution of morphologies of age by fitting smooth percentile curves to these scores using hybrid capsule neural network with least Median Square (hybrid CNN-LMS) curve fitting model. Finally, the simulation results of proposed hybrid CNN-LMS technique are compared to the existing methods to analyze the measures. We observed that the accuracy of our proposed hybrid CNN-LMS technique is 96.23% and 95.82% for RSS and ANDI datasets respectively. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Biometric authentication plays a vital role in the cloud computing (CC) environment to accomplish security and privacy. Several kinds of biometrics are used for the authentication process, particularly, the fingerprint is a commonly used biometric, which accomplishes maximum security. But it can be easily stolen, unintentionally revealed, or difficult to remember. Therefore, biometric authentication techniques are needed and an encryption process is included to improve the security of the authentication process. In this aspect, this paper proposes a multiple share creation with an optimal signcryption-based biometric authentication system (MSCOS-BAS- FLNN- PeSeOA) for the cloud environment. The proposed model enables the creation of multiple shares of the input biometric image (fingerprint) and encrypts them for a secure authentication system. In addition, the encryption of individual shares takes place with an optimal signcryption system where the key generation process is carried out using the penguin search optimization algorithm (PeSeOA). Finally, the functional link neural network (FLNN) model is applied for the biometric authentication verification process. A wide range of simulation analyses are performed to highlight the supreme efficacy of the MSCOS-BAS- FLNN- PeSeOA technique. The experimental outcomes pointed out the hopeful performance of the MSCOS-BAS- FLNN- PeSeOA technique over the recent techniques. © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

In the rapidly evolving field of natural language processing (NLP), performance optimization of large-scale NLP models is crucial. Through the application of Quantum-Accelerated Hyperparameter Tuning (QAHT), this abstract introduces a novel approach to addressing this issue. Our proposed framework leverages quantum computing capabilities to dynamically optimize NLP model hyperparameters in real-time, catering to the ever-changing character of textual data streams. Traditional hyperparameter optimisation methods usually rely on laborious grid searches or random exploration, which may not be suitable for dynamic NLP jobs. Contrarily, QAHT uses Quantum Neural Network (QNN) architectures that have been specially designed for hyperparameter optimisation. These QNNs improve performance and efficacy by dynamically modifying and improving model configurations. This abstract discusses the key elements of the QAHT architecture, including real-time model deployment, adaptive learning, and continuous data stream processing. In addition to speeding up the hyperparameter optimisation process, QAHT makes sure that NLP models are still flexible and responsive to shifts in the sentiment of the data and its distribution. This method has applications beyond NLP since it provides a foundation for effectively optimising machine learning models in complex, real-time situations. As quantum computing develops, QAHT represents a promising future in machine learning, where quantum-enhanced capabilities satisfy the needs of contemporary data-driven applications.

Breast cancer is today’s deadly health issue which causes high mortality in woman worldwide. The preliminary detection and classification may help for proper treatment of the same. Understanding the causes of this cancer using traditional machine learning techniques misread feature extraction are leading to a complication. Traditional machine learning models are best suited for feature-based raw data. The novel deep learning techniques have been introduced for diagnosis of breast abnormalities using various imaging modalities like mammogram, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound with high accuracy. This survey focuses on challenges of classical machine learning models and supervene efficient prediction models using novel deep learning techniques. An arrhythmia is just a disease associated with irregular heart rhythm. Any kind of arrhythmia can be determined with an ECG test. However, this requires long and excellent-quality of ECG samples. This makes an affordable, reliable, and automated system for recognizing and diagnosing arrhythmias. To meet the aforementioned criteria, a new technique with the aid of an attention-aided deep learning approach is proposed to classify arrhythmia in this paper. "Higher-order statistical (HOS)" features are extracted from the original EEG signal and the deep features are obtained from the analyzed QRS complex signals and RR interval by means of a "One-Dimensional Convolution Neural Network (1DCNN)". The Risk Rate Enhanced Lemurs Optimization Algorithm (RRE-LOA) is utilized to modify the weight, and the extracted features are selected optimally before carrying out the feature selection followed by feature concatenation with weight fusion in order to generate the Weighted Fused Features (WFF). A range of indicators is used to compare the performance of the executed classification model with the traditional models. The results demonstrate that the proposed methodology for classifying arrhythmias offers an enhanced performance while classifying the arrhythmia thus aiding in faster treatment of the arrhythmia disease. ©, Engineers Australia.

Levy Flight Adopted Particle Swarm Optimization-based Resource Allocation Strategy in Fog Computing

The prevalence of the Internet of Things(Io T) is unsteady in the context of cloud computing, it is difficult to identify fog and cloud resource scheduling policies that will satisfy users' Qo S need. As a result, it increases the efficiency of resource usage and boosts user and resource supplier profit. This research intends to introduce a novel strategy for computing fog via emergencyoriented resource allotment, which aims and determines the effective process under different parameters. The modeling of a non-linear functionality that is subjected to an objective function and incorporates needs or factors like Service response rate, Execution efficiency, and Reboot rate allows for the resource allocation of cloud to fog computing in this work. Apart from this, the proposed system considers the resource allocation in emergency priority situations that must cope-up with the immediate resource allocation as well. Security in resource allocation is also taken into consideration with this strategy. Thus the multi-objective function considers 3 objectives such as Service response rate, Execution efficiency, and Reboot rate. All these strategies in resource allocation are fulfilled by Levy Flight adopted Particle Swarm Optimization(LF-PSO). The evaluation is performed to determine whether the developed strategy is superior to numerous traditional schemes. The cost function attained by the adopted technique is 120, which is 19.17%, 5%, and 2.5%greater than the conventional schemes like GWSO, EHO,and PSO, when the number of iterations is 50.

In the development of sustainable transportation, traffic safety is a significant matter, and predicting the severity of traffic accidents is still a critical problem in the traffic safety field. However, the utilized road traffic accidents (RTAs) datasets suffer from imbalance distribution. This problem leads to a decrease in classification performance, specifically in predicting the minority classes. This paper aims to treat the class imbalance problem through Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), Support Vector Machine-SMOTE (SVM-SMOTE), Borderline-SMOTE(BL-SMOTE), and Adaptive Synthetic (ADASYN), along with proposing an accurate predictive model for accident severity. Different accident severity models are employed, namely Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Naïve Bayes (NB) classifiers, Decision Tree (DT), and Extra Trees (ET). These models are tested using real-world datasets. Several evaluation metrics are used to evaluate the proposed model. Experimental results show that the proposed model significantly improves predicting both the minority and majority classes. These results indicate the robustness and reliability of the proposed predictive model in enhancing road traffic safety and management. © 2022. All Rights Reserved.

Blockchain technology has become a pivotal asset in many industries, particularly Food Supply Chain Management. This technology, renowned for its capacity to preserve data immutably and expedite tracking across the intricate stages of the food supply chain, plays a pivotal role in enhancing transparency across the food industry. We proposed a Blockchain-based Federated Learning model. This model amalgamates the strengths of Blockchain and federated learning within the food supply chain, focusing on sustainable and high-quality food production. Our primary objective is to fortify data security within various facets of the food supply chain, encompassing raw material suppliers, producers, distributors, and consumers. Simultaneously, we strive to enhance the precision of our model, aiming to outperform existing Blockchain-based solutions in terms of accuracy. The proposed model demonstrates superior accuracy compared to existing methods.

Heart Rate Anomaly Detection in Healthcare Using Elliptic Envelope and Local Forest

Medical professionals use Anomaly Detection(AD) to identify patients with potential health problems in the heart rate data (HRD), an essential metric related to cardiovascular health. In this research, the most effective AD techniques were identified in detecting unusual variations of the heart rate pattern. Synthetic HRD data with anomalous rates of 15%, 20%, and 25% was generated and standardized it using min-max scaling for consistency among the datasets. Normal HR was based on function with a mean of 70 and a standard deviation of 5 while anomalous values were generated with a mean of 120 and a standard deviation of 10. Among the evaluated models (Elliptic Envelope, one-class SVM, Local Outlier Factor, and Isolation Forest), the Elliptic Envelope (EE) and Isolation Forest (IF) models obtain the best scores in terms of recall and precision – 0.92 and 0.89, respectively. Overall, the results of this research indicate that equally robust AD models should be implemented within clinical systems and wearable devices that serve as a digital space for early cardiac risk identification, prompting adequate intervention and, as a result, health improvement.
