Weather forecasting is one of the applications of science and technology, used to predict the weather condition depending on the input attributes. Most of the existing systems are implemented using statistical approaches for Support Vector Machine (SVM), which are incapable of giving the accurate prediction as they cannot capture sudden changes in weather conditions. The proposed technique uses the concept of Multi-Linear regression which can produce better results than existing methods.

A fall is an unintentional event in which a person comes to rest on the ground/floor/a lower level. Falls are the second driving cause of inadvertent injury deaths around the world. Falls pose a major health risk to children and the elderly (especially above the age of 65). Injuries from falls make it difficult for an individual to move around, do regular activities, or live on their own. Hence, studies on methods able to recognize Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and to identify falls is on the rise. The acknowledgment of ADLs may permit to gather the sum of physical activity that a subject performs daily, whilst the timely identification of falls may aid in diminishing their consequences. To improve the accuracy of the classifier, the data from smartwatches and smartphones are combined. There are not many publicly accessible datasets incorporating data from both smartwatchesand smartphones. Hence, the data will be collected independently. The Decision tree (J48) classifier will be used to classify the falls. The evaluation metrics include: Precision, Recall, F1 Score and the confusion matrix.

A science department on the campus of the University of Illinois has received numerous national awards for excellence in undergraduate teaching. The secret to their success? For nearly two decades, they have collaboratively used evidence-based instructional practices (EBIP) in their introductory level courses. Despite these successes and efforts to spread their EBIP, no other departments followed this department's lead. Then, suddenly six years ago, many instructors from other departments began adopting EBIP in their classrooms. This article asks what was the catalyst for this change? Why had previous attempts at institutional change failed? The authors answer these questions by analyzing their efforts to transform the teaching practices in large-enrollment science and engineering introductory courses on their campus.

The aim of the application is to create a virtual reality game, whose purpose is to showcase the facilities of SRM University, while doing so in an entertaining manner. The virtual prototype of the institution is deployed in a game engine which eases the students to look over the infrastructure, thereby reducing the resources utilization. Time and money are the resources in concern today. The virtual campus application assists the end user even from a remote location. The virtual world simulates the exact location and hence the effect is created. Thus, it virtually transports the user to the university, with the help of a VR Headset. This is a dynamic application wherein the user can move in any direction. The VR headset provides an interface to get gyro input and this is used to start and stop the movement. Virtual Campus is size efficient and occupies minimal space. It is scalable against mobile gadgets. This gaming application helps the end user to explore the campus, while having fun too. It is a user friendly application that supports users worldwide.

The clock bias in different sectors of a cellular base transceiver station (BTS) cell is studied. A dynamical model relating the clock biases in different BTS sectors is identified and validated experimentally. A theoretical estimation error lower bound due to the discrepancy between sector clock biases is derived and demonstrated against Monte Carlo simulation runs. Experimental results of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) navigating exclusively with cellular code division multiple access signals are presented. These results demonstrate a 10.51m reduction in the UAV's position estimation error due to incorporating the developed sector mismatch model into the estimation framework.

A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an assemblage of nodes composed of mobile devices coupled in various ways wirelessly which do not have any central administration. Each node in MANET cooperates in forwarding packets in the network. This type of collaboration incurs high cost but there exits nodes that declines to cooperate leading to selfish conduct of nodes which effects overall network performance. To discover the attacks caused by such nodes, a renowned mechanism using watchdog can be deployed. In infrastructure less network attack detection and reaction and high false positives, false negatives initiating black hole attack becomes major issue in watchdog. This paper put forward a collaborative approach for identifying such attacks in MANET. Through abstract analysis and extensive simulation of this approach, the detection time of misbehaved nodes is reduced and substantial enhancement in overhead and throughput is witnessed.

Due to the increase in the demand of materials with good surface finish and complex shapes, conventional machining processes became out of date. This directed to the increasing demand of non-conventional machining processes. This research work is focuses on the optimization of Surface Roughness (SR) using Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) method on Inconel 625 super alloy material. The diffused wire tool electrode (plain and cryo-treated) is used for experimental work. Taguchi's L18 (21*35) orthogonal array's has been used to design for experimental run. The machining parameters selected for optimization are tool electrode, current (Ip), pulse on time (Ton), pulse off time (Toff), wire feed (Wf) and wire tension (Wt). Rectangular slits has been fabricated, which are useful for many industrial application like increase the heat transfer rate of fluids, micro-channels, micro-fins etc. Design of Experiment (DoE) optimization technique is used to find the most significant factor.
