Cloud computing offers subscription based storage and resources. Cloud computing provides various services to cloud users. Increased use of information and communication technologies (ICT) has led to increase energy cost as well also increased emission of greenhouse gases like CO2. Since energy is an important asset, green cloud computing comes into picture. Green cloud computing can be achieved by applying various approaches, which uses lesser power as well as emits less CO2 gas, which is hazardous to environment. Energy efficient technologies results in decreased overall energy consumption. There is a need of data centre in almost every field like web applications and businesses which results in producing huge amount of CO2 in environment. To make data centres environmental friendly we need energy efficient approaches which will reduce energy consumption and there hazardous effects on environment. Data is being generated at very high speed so the need of data centres will also increase. Increased data centres will then consume more amount of energy. The main objective of these paper is to reviews various approaches applied by researchers to make energy efficient cloud computing.

A cutting-edge approach to generate random bit sequence with confound chaotic maps

A random number sequence is a sequence of numbers that exhibit statistical randomness. In other words, all numbers in the sequence have an equal chance and it’s hard to predict the next number in the sequence. They are most commonly used in cryptography to strengthen the security. Same key can be used by sender and receiver to generate the same set of random numbers. The pseudo-random number generation is an important task in computer science with various security features. There are 2 types of random number generators; they are True Random Number Generators (TRNG) and Pseudo Random Number Generators (PRNG). In recent years, PRNGs are implemented in hardware or software using chaotic maps. Some of the chaotic maps used in PRNG are Logistic map, Lorenz map, Henon map, Skew Tent map, Saw tooth map, etc. The Tinker Bell map is a discrete-time chaotic dynamical system with four system parameters. It is a most commonly studied examples of dynamical systems that exhibit chaotic behaviour. Chaotic maps possess several drawbacks such as the discontinuity of ranges, non-uniform distribution, periodicity in chaotic range, and small key space. In this PRNG, the numbers are generating in an unpredictable manner. To improve the uniform distribution and periodicity in random number generation, combination of Logistic and Tinker bell map is proposed. The Logistic map is a polynomial mapping. The Tinker bell map is known to have shorter periods. It is notable for having chaotic solutions for certain parameter values and initial conditions. In the proposed work, the Tinker bell map perturbs Logistic map to increase the chaotic behaviour of Logistic map. Output of the Logistic map is taken as Pseudo random bit sequence or Pseudo random number. NIST statistical test suite is used to verify the randomness of the generated random sequence.

Random numbers are important tools for generating secret keys, encrypting messages, or masking the content of certain protocols with a random sequence that can be deterministically generated. In the present modern world, most of the people are using the roadways for transportation purposes. The utilization of roadways increases by one side, on the other side the road accidents are also escalating. The current assessment shows that the reasons for the road accidents are not obeying the traffic rules, inappropriate usage of indicators while turning right or left while driving the vehicles and so on. In peak hours and in traffic times people are speeding up with their vehicle and forgot to use their indicator. This leads to an accident while sudden turning and braking without a proper indication. In order to overcome these types of difficulties, an automatic turning on/off bike indicators using offline GPS navigation system is proposed. The proposed system works in an offline mode and does not need any internet connectivity. By turning on the supply to the board, it will generate the hotspot and it will be connected with Wi-Fi in Mobile Phone. Then the destination is fixed in the mobile application. When turning is available in the way to destination before 100 meters of that turning, indicator will be automatically turned on and after that indicator will be automatically turned off. Thus the proposed work would help the people during the rush hours and also during the emergency situations to avoid accidents.

Now-a-days Android devices are rapidly increasing as per user's need and very helpful to fulfil personal and professional need. Also, these devices are quickly turning into a genuine danger because of the various malwares and security issues and threats present in them. In this paper, different proposals of security mechanisms and techniques are reviewed, which are used to ensure the security of these devices along with the latest state of art. It also discovers different kinds of security mechanisms that include authorization related issues, which are a continuous wonder in Android applications. Most important part in human's life is our six senses, if we are not having any one of the senses, it will be more difficult to run our day to day life. Here we are going to help the visually impaired peoples to listen where there are and what are they going to do next as a sense in our body. visually impaired usually get information for their next move from others, this may create a inferiority complex to them that they can't be like normal human beings, they are always dependent on others. To make them fell self-confident and to face their obstacles by themselves we have specially customized a smart cap for visually impaired peoples, as they can help them in their day to day life. Vision plays a significant role. Persons without vision can gather information through their hearing skills. The proposed system is an innovative implementation of a smart guidance system for those with vision. The system is a novel and real-time cost-effective technique. The system consists of three modules: voice search module, image processing module and voice processing module. These modules are executed using the keyword function search, which is in voice form, provided by the user. The system combines the concept of optical character recognition and the text to speech synthesizer. It involves extracting text from the image and translating the text into speech; this makes it easier for the user to read the text. From a computer standpoint, extracting text from color images is a difficult task. It can also be used to identify the bus name and bus number at the bus stop or bus stand for the blind and prevents it from being used by an ultrasonic sensor and is communicated to the user by the vibration sensing mechanism.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) plays an important role in the solution for automating human digital interaction in various software domains like IT, Business Strategy and so on. Optical Character Recognition(OCR) superimposes subtitled characters on an *** we use two Open source OCR engines, Google Tesseract OCR - It literally makes use of the open source Tesseract OCR Engine[1]. Microsoft OCR - This is another open source OCR engine accessible in the Robotics Process Automation tool, UiPath[1]. The technique of optical character recognition (OCR) has been used to transform printed text into editable text. In various applications, OCR is a very useful and common technique. OCR precision can be dependent on algorithms for text preprocessing and segmentation. Often because of different scale, design, orientation, complex picture context, etc., it is difficult to retrieve text from the image. We begin this paper with an introduction to the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process, in this paper, we propose a research analysis to estimate the accuracy of two open source OCR engines with Robotics Process Automation(RPA). These RPA processes are created using the UiPath tool and our results compare the OCR engines performance during the execution with the workflow and save the results to our local storage or on cloud storage if cloud support enabled and here we used local storage for purpose, and the result analysis and error analysis was evaluated by manual process which also included excel formulas to calculate the accuracy of the extracted string with the original string.

In recent years, large-scale urbanisation has been on the rise with cities being the hubs for growth, but rural business continues to play an important role in any country's overall development. A recent report reveals that almost 69 percent of India's population resides in their villages, accounting for almost 50 percent of the nation's GDP. This agricultural region varies from small towns with less than 500 residents to small towns. There are also similar situations in western nations. Despite their economic contribution, smaller villages seem to earn fewer in terms of infrastructural expenditure. The major problems addressed in these small towns include shortage of adequate public transit, emergency care and limited knowledge on federal subsidies for rural areas. Our vision is to expand the Smart city to Smart village by allowing use of recent technical advances and giving more attention to the problems in rural areas. The approach in this chapter is to bring IoT technology to Villages by literally showing a network of linked sensors and knowledge dissemination devices, controlling energy use and ensuring infrastructure protection. It gives a wide-ranging vision of enhancing the standard of living in villages and encourages them to meet the essential needs of domestic villagers.
