This study is the first to use Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks to predict the probability of stroke from patient medical records. Researchers create a complete model that is capable of capturing complex temporal patterns by adopting an interpretivist mindset and a deductive methodology. Analysis in comparison to traditional models demonstrates the LSTM's greater prediction skills. The model's dependability is confirmed by robustness tests along with sensitivity studies. Enhancing interpretability as well as prospective clinical confirmation should be the main goals of future effort. There is room for improvement in the integration of immediate monitoring using multimodal data. Statement of problem: Immediate implant placement with an immediate interim restoration is a well-established protocol. Nevertheless, a consensus regarding the impact of immediate interim restoration on peri-implant tissues around single dental implants is lacking. Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to address the research question: “Does the placement of an immediate interim restoration influence the mid-facial mucosal (MFM) marginal and interdental papilla (IDP) levels around single dental implants placed in the anterior esthetic region by using an immediate implant placement protocol?” Material and methods: A comprehensive literature search was made in the Medline/PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane, and science Direct electronic databases for articles published in English evaluating the impact of immediate interim restoration on peri-implant tissues around single dental implants in the anterior esthetic region. The primary outcomes assessed were changes in the MFM marginal and IDP levels. Additional outcomes were marginal bone (MB) loss, esthetic outcomes involving the pink and white esthetic scores (PES and WES), implant survival rates, and patient reported outcome measures (PROMs). The risk of bias assessment was performed by using the RoB 2 tool for randomized trials and the Newcastle-Ottawa scale for nonrandomized studies. Meta-analysis was performed by using random and fixed effects model (α=.05) in the RevMan software program. Results: Sixteen studies were included that analyzed 836 single dental implants involving 823 patients. The meta-analysis showed no significant differences in implants with and without interim restoration in terms of MFM marginal level (MD=0.01;95% CI=−1.23 to 1.25;P=.98), mesial IDP level (MD=0.12;95% CI=−0.23 to 0.47;P=.50), distal IDP level (MD=0.20;95% CI=−0.40 to 0.79;P=.52), and MB loss (MD=0.01;95% CI=−0.42 to 0.43;P=.97). Steganography uses the technique of espionaging a media object in an another innocent looking file so that no one can doubt of its existence. Text steganography is a sub domain of steganography in the sense that it conceals the secret message in a text file. This article proposes a new way of hiding textual messages using steganography. The method uses Lagna chart of horoscope as well as Aadhar number of recipient to hide the message. Each character of the input message is masked to a value using digits in a random lagna Chart and recipient’s Aadhar number. Then this value is hidden under an emoticon using a pre-shared emoji table. Finally, cover message is created and sent via WhatsApp. The proposed approach also compares the results of various parameters like robustness, capacity ratio and security with some existing text steganographic methods.

This study presents a systematic machine learning approach for creating efficient hybrid models and discovering sorption uptake models in non-linear advection-diffusion-sorption systems. It demonstrates an effective method to train these complex systems using gradient-based optimizers, adjoint sensitivity analysis, and JIT-compiled vector Jacobian products, combined with spatial discretization and adaptive integrators. Sparse and symbolic regression were employed to identify missing functions in the artificial neural network. The robustness of the proposed method was tested on an in-silico data set of noisy breakthrough curve observations of fixed-bed adsorption, resulting in a well-fitted hybrid model. The study successfully reconstructed sorption uptake kinetics using sparse and symbolic regression, and accurately predicted breakthrough curves using identified polynomials, highlighting the potential of the proposed framework for discovering sorption kinetic law structures. © 2023, CC BY.

Using deep neural networks, the proposed approach segments MRI images into classes and achieves good visual quality as well as similarity to the ground truth image. For the proposed process the dice similarity index is near 0.8. Dice similarity index is calculated for each class i.e. for WM, GM, CSF. Also the ground truth images are compared with the reference images and segmented MRI images that are used in the paper.

In the digital era, cloud computing has emerged a significant service in the IT sector. It ensures pooling of resources and provided services on-demand over the web. The scheduling of appropriate tasks is an important aspect in cloud computing in which many researches are carried out. The users demand for resources are volatile in nature and hence when a large count of resources is requested, the computational overhead in cloud is supposed to effectively allocate resources and also to complete these tasks. The research issue includes as how a VM can schedule these tasks in an effective manner. This paper proposes an efficient approach using the MAP reducing framework and GA-WOA for efficient scheduling of tasks in the given cloud. Initially, the task features are extracted from the client’s task. Then, the features are reduced by using the MRQFLDA algorithm. After that, the large tasks are separated into sub-tasks using a map-reduce framework. Finally, the tasks are efficiently scheduled by using the GA-WOA algorithm. The experimental simulations are carried out using the cloudsim environment. The results show that the proposed method GA-WOA outperforms the other methods in terms of various metrics used for the evaluation.

With the fast development of internet techniques, data and communication technology is being more and more employed in curricula, and learning portfolios may be mechanically retrieved and maintained as learners act through e-learning platforms. NPTEL provided open access to hundreds and thousands of learners to take the preferred courses and helped to become experts in a particular area. This paper describes the impact of the online courses (NPTEL) on the learners and challenges and learning’s from the online courses. The participants comprised 114 faculty, who were surveyed regarding their learning experiences, motivation, challenges and intentions to use NPTEL. Many are calling for concrete mechanisms of oversight for health research involving artificial intelligence (AI). In response, institutional review boards (IRBs) are being turned to as a familiar model of governance. Here, we examine the IRB model as a form of ethics oversight for health research that uses AI. We consider the model's origins, analyze the challenges IRBs are facing in the contexts of both industry and academia, and offer concrete recommendations for how these committees might be adapted in order to provide an effective mechanism of oversight for health-related AI research. © 2021 by The Hastings Center. The outstanding optical characteristics of carbon dots (CDs) make them an extremely promising class of multifunctional nanomaterials based on carbon. The incorporation of hydrothermally prepared Aloe vera carbon dots (AVCDs) into europium doped yttrium gadolinium ((YGd)2O3:Eu3+) mixed oxide nanophosphors ((YGO):Eu3+ NPs) synthesized through the solution combustion (SC) method. The resulting (YGO):Eu3+@AVCDs nanocomposite (NCs) demonstrates a broad excitation band, with the intense peak at ∼395 nm, aligning with the emission wavelength (350–420 nm) of n-UV LED chips. Notably, the (YGO):Eu3+@AVCDs (5 wt %) NCs exhibits a 4 fold increase in photoluminescence (PL) intensity compared to (YGO):7Eu3+, attributed to the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) between AVCDs and Eu3+ ions. Remarkably, even at an elevated temperature of 423 K, the thermal stability of (YGO):Eu3+@AVCDs (5 wt %) remains exceptional, retaining 88.31 % of its initial luminescence intensity. The internal quantum efficiency (IQE) is measured at a notable 74.16 %, while the optimized composite achieves a remarkable color purity of 99.59 %. Latent fingerprints (LFPs) are effectively developed on different surfaces using the optimized NCs via a simple powder dusting technique, and these fingerprints (FPs) revealed under 365 nm UV light. The study also examines various pore parameter namely size, shape, number, position, type, and inter-distance. Moreover, a transparent anti-counterfeiting (AC) ink is fabricated using optimized NCs providing effective AC features through its red emission under 365 nm UV light. This study not only offers solutions for overcoming the self-quenching effect of CDs but also underscores the potential applications in white light emitting diodes (w-LEDs), latent fingerprints, lip prints (LPs), and anti-counterfeiting. © 2024
