With the rapid development of the world economy,IGBT has been widely used in motor drive and electric energy *** order to timely detect the fatigue damage of IGBT,it is necessary to monitor the junction temperature of *** order to realize the fast calculation of IGBT junction temperature,a finite element method of IGBT temperature field reduction is proposed in this ***,the finite element calculation process of IGBT temperature field is introduced and the linear equations of finite element calculation of temperature field are *** field data of different working conditions are obtained by finite element simulation to form the sample *** the covariance matrix of the sample space is constructed,whose proper orthogonal decomposition and modal extraction are carried *** basis vector space is selected to complete the low dimensional expression of temperature vector inside and outside the sample ***,the reduced-order model of temperature field finite element is obtained and *** results of the reduced order model are compared with those of the finite element method,and the performance of the reduced-order model is evaluated from two aspects of accuracy and rapidity.

Data-Enabled Predictive control (DeePC) bypasses the need for system identification by directly leveraging raw data to formulate optimal control policies. However, the size of the optimization problem in DeePC grows linearly with respect to the data size, which prohibits its application to resource-constrained systems due to high computational costs. In this paper, we propose an efficient approximation of DeePC, whose size is invariant with respect to the amount of data collected, via differentiable convex programming. Specifically, the optimization problem in DeePC is decomposed into two parts: a control objective and a scoring function that evaluates the likelihood of a guessed I/O sequence, the latter of which is approximated with a size-invariant learned optimization problem. The proposed method is validated through numerical simulations on a quadruple tank system, illustrating that the learned controller can reduce the computational time of DeePC by a factor of 5 while maintaining its control performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, devices for fast automatic bus transfer (FABT) are widely used. The reaction time of the FABT algorithms is on the order of 4-:-10 ms, which is why the behavior of starting, approving and blocking organs, for example, power direction relays (PDR) in transient modes, is very important for them. The paper investigates the behavior of the PDR when using signals from Rogowski coils (RC) and electromagnetic current transformers (CT), taking into account the possible saturation of the magnetic circuit, when modeling emergency modes. The PDR study was performed using the Simulink simulation environment of the Matlab software package. Hodographs of the PDR vector for internal and external circuits are constructed, which show the advantage of using signals received from the RC, including at saturation of CT. Based on the conducted research, the conclusion is made about the advantages of using RC for FABT. The successful operation of FABT devices with the use of RC on a real object has also been demonstrated. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider the problem of predicting unknown targets from data. We propose Online Residual Learning (ORL), a method that combines online adaptation with offline-trained predictions. At a lower level, we employ multiple offline predictions generated before or at the beginning of the prediction horizon. We augment every offline prediction by learning their respective residual error concerning the true target state online, using the recursive least squares algorithm. At a higher level, we treat the augmented lower-level predictors as experts, adopting the Prediction with Expert Advice framework. We utilize an adaptive softmax weighting scheme to form an aggregate prediction and provide guarantees for ORL in terms of regret. We employ ORL to boost performance in the setting of online pedestrian trajectory prediction. Based on data from the Stanford Drone Dataset, we show that ORL can demonstrate best-of-both-worlds performance. © 2024 IEEE.

This article presents the electromechanical development and balance controller of a wheeled humanoid robot, with experimental tests. The objective of replacing the legs of a humanoid with a differential platform, creating an inverted pendulum, is to increase the maneuverability and the velocity of the robot movements. The prototype presented has a torso with two actuated arms that allows it to actively influence the movement of the differential platform. To verify the operation of the controller, designed by state feedback, experimental balance tests were carried out, under different conditions: translational and rotational movements, using straight and curved trajectories, on horizontal and inclined surfaces, with and without external disturbances. Furthermore, a test is presented that shows the effect of the movement of the arms on the differential platform, which is produced by the manipulation of the projection of the center of gravity. © 2024 IEEE.

In multivariate time series, data at any time is often not only correlated with historical values, but also with the values of the other parameters. However, most of the existing methods are one-sided, focusing only on the correlation in time dimension or between parameters when processing multivariate time series, and unable to fully extract features of time series data. In addition, for the time series data under different observation scales, the trend and periodic change also show different states, reflecting the internal characteristics of the data itself. It is important to extract the intrinsic features of time series data at different observation scales. This paper proposes to use multi-window pooling to decompose the trend and period of complex time series data, then use convolution layers of different sizes to obtain the trend and period components of different scales, and finally extract the trend and period components of different scales based on the spatiotemporal feature extraction module integrated by graph attention neural network and iTransformer. To obtain the time series trend and periodic change characteristics at different granularities, the effect of the proposed model is demonstrated through some data sets. © 2024 IEEE.

Switching power supplies are widely used in aerospace, new energy and many other fields. During long-term operation, various electronic components in these supplies experience performance degradation due to continuous electrical and thermal stress, leading to changes in output characteristics. This is the fundamental reason affecting the reliability of switching power supplies. However, the current combination of physics of failure (PoF) models and simulation technique is imperfect, and most methods cannot achieve batch injection of multiple device failures. This paper proposes a reliability prediction simulation method for switching power supplies based on PoF model injection. By focusing on a switching circuit, the approach involves digital twin modeling and validation, failure mechanism and sensitivity analysis, key failure components degradation modeling, and batch degradation simulation. This method achieves continuous degradation data of multiple components based on the PoF model through batch injection, improving the efficiency and accuracy of reliability prediction for switching power supplies. © 2024 IEEE.

Currently, devices for fast automatic bus transfer (FABT) are widely used. The reaction time of the FABT algorithm is about 4÷10 ms, as a result, the nature of the behavior of measuring elements, for example, the power direction relay (PDR) in transient state, is important for them. This work provides analytical comparison of the behavior of the amplitude and angle of the first harmonic of the output signals of current transformers (CT) with a closed core and Rogowski coils (RC) during short circuits (SC). Both primary converters in this study were assumed to be ideal (without current conversion errors). The amplitude and angle of the signals were determined using the standard discrete Fourier transform function in the MATLAB software package. A numerical estimate of the time of the transient process of the amplitude value of the first harmonic of the output signals of the primary converters was carried out for various SC parameters. It was found that in all simulated cases, the time of onset of the steady-state mode of the amplitude value of the first harmonic of the output signal of the RC is significantly less or does not differ from the similar parameter of the CT signal. In addition, the secondary signal of the RC does not have a long-term (lasting several periods of industrial frequency) oscillation, characteristic of the output signal of a CT. Based on the research carried out, a conclusion was made about the prospects of using the RC as a primary current converter for FABT devices. © 2024 IEEE.

With the widespread application of lithium batteries, the focus on battery performance evaluation and safety has increased. Accurate prediction of battery degradation and remaining useful life is now a crucial research topic. Scholars have improved prediction accuracy by integrating multiple parameters related to battery degradation or combining various prediction models. However, environmental noise, sensor limitations, and faults can impact the quantity and quality of available feature sequences, rendering these methods partially ineffective. This paper proposes an optimized Transformer prediction model based on a Temporal Feature Enhancement Module (TFEM). By decomposing long-sequence signals and accurately capturing temporal features across different frequency bands through convolution, the model significantly improves the accuracy of future degradation process assessments and remaining useful life predictions of batteries, even with a single prediction model and a limited number of feature sequences. The proposed TFEM exhibits strong adaptability and can be easily integrated into other temporal prediction models to enhance prediction accuracy. The prediction model demonstrates high generalizability and robustness, achieving favorable prediction results even in scenarios involving short sequence predictions or a limited number of feature sequences. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The energy meter is a widely used digital-analog electronic system. However, metering accuracy is inevitably influenced by factors such as ambient temperature, load current, and component tolerance. This paper introduces a method utilizing digital twin models to analyze the consistency of metering accuracy in a new single-phase smart meter prototype. An electro-thermal coupling model incorporating a temperature compensation algorithm is established, and the metering accuracy is solved using a surrogate model. By employing the Monte Carlo method, a batch of product samples is generated to determine the impact of varying ambient temperature and load current conditions on the metering accuracy's consistency within the maximum operating range. The results of this study provides a valuable foundation for robust design and reliability optimization of the energy meter. © 2023 IEEE.
