In the paper the mathematical modeling methods were employed to solve the problem of fuel mass estimation supplied to the power generating boiler grid. It was shown that popular polynomial and neural network based identification algorithms can be used to measure amount of fuel supplied to the boiler combustion chamber. Furthermore the original conception and exemplary realization of the mass stream measuring system was presented.

Research in Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots navigation has demonstrated some success in navigating flat indoor environments while avoiding obstacles. But in common resilience to unsafe conditions, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomous mobile robots have wide applications in security reconnaissance, investigation of an obscure domain, and crisis reaction. Various examinations have been directed on the driving mechanism, motion planning, and trajectory tracking strategies for robots, yet restricted investigations have been led with respect to the obstacle detection and avoiding ability of robots. However, for little scale robots that contain sensitive surveillance sensors and can't afford to utilize heavy defensive shells, the nonappearance of obstacle avoidance solutions arrangements would leave the robot helpless before possibly risky hindrances. In this paper, we present an algorithm for obstacle detection and avoidance system has been developed for miniature Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and autonomous mobile robots. We show an investigation differentiating heading build rules and relative course directions dodging distinctive operators in multi-specialist conditions, estimating separation between the two robots. The integration of distance measurement and avoiding other robots or obstacles is our observation in a multi-robot environment, where obstacles are also available. In this paper, we have discussed two algorithms, one will try to avoid other robot or obstacles and another will try to measure the distance between main agents to another agent. It utilizes an algorithm so that the system is both compact and power efficient. The proposed system can detect not only the presence, but also the approaching direction of a ferromagnetic obstacle. Therefore, an intelligent avoidance behavior can be generated by adapting the trajectory tracking method with the detection information. Design optimization is conducted to enhance

The task of guaranteeing that processes meet their deadlines is one of the most complex in the design of hard real-time control systems. This paper describes how process scheduling has been integrated into a framework of tools for the development of such systems. Functional specifications in the form of control system block diagrams are translated by the Framework into real-time source code which may be executed in a parallel processing environment. The automated off-line scheduling tool takes process specifications from the system under development and attempts to map these processes to the processors in such a way that all the system deadlines are met by using a detailed model of the run-time environment.

The paper presents a demographic-economic simulation model DEM-CEM system. Our efforts at building the DEM-CEM system focus on the construction of an age, sex, region, educational attainment level and skill level specified, five dimensional population model—DEM. And integrate the DEM to a Computable general equilibrium model (CGE model) of economic development—CEM. The DEM-CEM system relates population dynamics to economic development of a representative developing country. The simulation's major intended output is illustration of different dynamic path of the economy subject to alternative policy choices. The demographic factor as a policy variable reflects both the quantity and the quality change of the population and labor force over time, and influences the national economic development through channels of the formation of human capital, e.g. formal education system, on-the-job training program, health services etc. Simulations constructed under various historical and policy counterfactual hypotheses, are reported. The results were compatible with much of the earlier literature and certain new results offer a useful foundation for furture quantitative work of policy counterfacutal study.

Steel making is known as a complex manufacturing industrial process. Automation of the process represents a challenge. Empirical mathematical modeling of the process was used to design mill equipment, ensure productivity and service quality. This modeling approach shows many problems associated to complexity and time consumption. Soft computing techniques show significant modeling capabilities on handling complex nonlinear systems modeling. In this paper, we explore the use of Takagi-Sugeno (TS) technique to develop fuzzy models for the Hot-Rolling industrial nonlinear process. We propose three models for the rolling force, torque and slab temperature. A set of rules and membership functions which represents the dynamical relationship between the input and output of these models shall be presented. The performance of the fuzzy models will be compared to the known empirical models for the hot rolling system. Experimental data measured from the Ere˜gli Iron and Steel Factory in Turkey shall be used for the verification of the model outstanding performance.
