Working in multi-talker mode is viable under certain conditions, such as the fusion of audio and video stimuli along with smart adaptive beamforming of received audio signals. In this article, the authors verify part of the researched novel framework, which focuses on adapting to dynamic interlocutor’s location changes in the engagement zone of humanoid robots during the multi-talker conversation. After evaluating the framework, the authors confirm the necessity of a complementary and independent method of increasing the interlocutor’s signal isolation accuracy. It is necessary when video analysis performance plummets. The authors described the leading cause as insufficient performance during dynamic conversations. The video analysis cannot derive a new configuration when the interlocutor’s speech apparatus moves beyond the expected margin and the video frame rate drops.

This paper discusses the reduction of background noise in an industrial environment to extend *** the Industry 4.0 era,the mass development of voice control(speech recognition)in various industrial applications is possible,especially as related to augmented reality(such as hands-free control via voice commands).As Industry 4.0 relies heavily on radiofrequency technologies,some brief insight into this problem is provided,including the Internet of things(IoT)and 5G *** study was carried out in cooperation with the industrial partner Brose CZ spol.s.r.o.,where sound recordings were made to produce a *** experimental environment comprised three workplaces with background noise above 100 dB,consisting of a laser/magnetic welder and a press.A virtual device was developed from a given dataset in order to test selected commands from a commercial speech recognizer from *** tested a hybrid algorithm for noise reduction and its impact on voice command recognition *** virtual devices,the study was carried out on large speakers with 20 participants(10 men and 10 women).The experiments included a large number of repetitions(100 times for each command under different noise conditions).Statistical results confirmed the efficiency of the tested *** welding environment efficiency was 27%before applied filtering,76%using the least mean square(LMS)algorithm,and 79%using LMS+independent component analysis(ICA).Magnetic welding environment efficiency was 24%before applied filtering,70%with LMS,and 75%with LMS+*** workplace environment efficiency showed no success before applied filtering,was 52%with LMS,and was 54%with LMS+ICA.

Blockchain technology gained much traction in the last few years. These decentralized databases offer security, immutability, and scalability across various applications. Decentralized applications generate vast amounts of data, known as events, that are recorded on the blockchain and are public to anyone. Some people may see opportunities for financial gains in these events and would like to know when they occur. This paper proposes a solution to process and deliver those events as real-time alerts to the users. It uses existing technologies such as message queues, multithreading, and asynchronous processing and integrates them into a scalable architecture. The results we achieved in this paper show that for an evenly distributed network traffic, which does not entirely consists of transaction bursts, the proposed solution offers reliability, efficiency, and a suitable delivery time to those wishing to integrate it into their projects. With time, this solution, or improved architectures, may form the basis of the following big-data architectures for processing blockchain events.

The use of Natural Language Processing Algorithms (NLP) for automation purposes in various applications is frequently encountered recently. Some research managed to identify the dominant emotion from a text using neural networks (ANN), Random Forest (RF) and Support Vectors Machines (SVM) while other studies classified documents with the aim of mechanizing the extraction process of *** paper presents a study on different Natural Language Processing Algorithms (NLP) used for automation of a virtual bookstore. The objective was the application of artificial intelligence algorithms to streamline the necessary processes of an online bookstore or library, taking into consideration the short descriptions and summaries of the books. The aim is to improve the results obtained by supervised algorithms using various techniques such as aggregating unsupervised classifications. In order to boost their understanding of natural language, GPT is used to enhance the dataset by adding additional context. Peer review represents the status-quo when it comes to evaluating research articles that are submitted to conferences and journals. The significance of a computer science article is given by the prestige of the publication and is correlated with the inclusion in the ISI Web of Science *** paper discusses the issues of the current paper publication paradigm and proposes a decentralized approach to the paper dissemination and the peer review processes. On the one hand, decentralization and transparency are obtained by employing smart contracts, through blockchain technology. On the other hand, an optimization of the paper rating system is obtained by employing a system of expert badges, based on NFTs, which ensure that the peer review process is just and that only specialists in the fields associated to the contributed paper offer proficient feedback. Other proposed facets include the remuneration of reviewers, a method of allowing the proposed system to expand based on the community’s input, and a solution for allowing the organization of conferences.
