This paper aims to design a denial-of-service attack strategy that maximizes the LQG cost over a finite time. During each attack instance, the attacker chooses from multiple energy levels and expends attack energy to initiate interference. With the limitation of total attack energy, a dynamic programming algorithm is used to search for the optimal attack strategy. However, due to the curse of dimensionality, the algorithm exhibits high computational complexity. To address the issue, an approximate dynamic programming algorithm is presented to design approximately optimal strategies by leveraging the monotonicity of optimal value functions. The new algorithm is capable of obtaining a high-quality attack strategy within a relatively small number of iterations. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the superiority of the developed algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

To detect corrugated paper quickly and accurately, a YOLOv5-based algorithm has been created. In order to improve the fusion of lower layer feature information, the operation of GSConv layer is introduced in the feature enhancement network algorithm. for better utilizing feature semantic information, the CARAFE upsampling operator is used instead of the original upsampling. MobileNetv3 was used to replace its backbone network to reduce computing costs and achieve lightweighting. Using the corrugated paper dataset constructed by the authors as an example, the improved algorithm was found to have a parameter size of 1.3 M based on the results., computational complexity of 1.8 GFLOPS, and weight size of 2.9 MB. Compared to the original YOLOv5n algorithm, these values decreased by 27.8%, 56.1%, and 21.6%. Its key technical indicators mAP@0.5 and FPS can be as high as 88.0% and 68.5 respectively. These results show that the improved algorithm satisfies the requirements for on-site deployment on mobile devices. The research shows that applying improved algorithms to conduct real-time and accurate inventory of corrugated packaging is a feasible approach. © 2024 SPIE.

It is essential to achieve stable and high bandwidth communication in order to develop and evolve a variety of platforms, including ERP, video conferencing, VoIP, digital mobile radio, and automation of electric power distribution networks. There are several challenges involved in the implementation of these networks, including the large area of the Khorasan Razavi province (118000 km2) and 31 offices spread across a large geographical area. In this paper, the novel experience of designing and implementing a radio link network that integrates fiber optics is presented in detail. In both IT and OT networks, this infrastructure network provides excellent technical capabilities. By using the proposed plan, 31 offices and 12 sites will be connected to a high-bandwidth, low-jitter, and low-delay network of about 65 Mbps, 30 ms, and 45 ms respectively, which is 2.5 times better than the company's 2020 network. Moreover, the details of the design, simulation, and implementation of the sites, including the equipment list, are being presented for the first time. Other companies could benefit from this. Software packages PathLoss 5.0 and OPNET 14.5 were used for the design and simulation. © 2023 IEEE.

In the production process of the process industry, precise adjustment of working conditions presents a challenge due to the complexity of processes and unknown disturbances. Central control operators need to adjust setpoints based on deviations in process parameters and monitor target values to maintain system stability. However, many operating procedures excessively rely on human experience, increasing the uncertainty of the production process. In addition, the expert knowledge is not fully embedded in accumulated operations, limiting its potential in decision support. Therefore, data-driven modeling of production processes is essential for developing industrial expert systems to realize intelligent manufacturing. This work proposes a work condition prediction framework based on an Operation Mode Library (OML) to realize Working Condition Prediction (WCP), called for OML-WCP short. Taking the cement rotary kiln adjustment process as an example, a stable OML is constructed using Gaussian mixture clustering technology. Experimental results with real-life operation data of a cement plant reveal that the prediction accuracy of OML-WCP outperforms the existing methods. Moreover, the continuous accumulation of operating mode libraries can improve prediction accuracy in practical annlications. © 2024 IEEE.

For the efficiency and precision of autonomous exploration, this paper proposes an optimized algorithm for mobile robots in unknown confined environment. However, the traditional algorithms frequently lead to excessive navigation distance and waste of exploration time consumption. To address these limitations, frontier point selection is improved by utilizing RRT, accomplishing significant improvement in computational efficiency. The exploration path planning was accomplished through the utilization of an enhanced Dijkstra's algorithm, in conjunction with a topological map. Through experimental comparisons, the proposed algorithm achieves significant advantages over existing frontier-based and RRT-based algorithms when dealing with complex environments. In particular, our system is able to reduce the traveling distance by up to 55.16% in difficult scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

The global water environment confronts numerous challenges, e.g., water pollution, overexploitation, and ecological degradation. Comprehensive protection and management are imperative for sustainable water resource utilization. Water quality predictions provide timely warning of future water quality problems and enable early action to avoid deterioration. As science and technology are increasingly applied in comprehensive water environment management, a diverse array of multimodal data is gathered from various sources, including remote sensing images and hydrological time series. However, current water quality prediction methods, e.g., statistical, machine learning, and deep learning methods fail to utilize multimodal data to enhance their accuracy of water quality prediction. To solve the above problem, this work proposes a multi-factor and long-term water quality prediction model based on multimodal data fusion named Low-rank Multimodal Fusion TimesNet (LMF-TimesN et), It first extracts features from hydrological time series and remote sensing images, respectively. Then, they are fused with the low-rank multimodal fusion network to extract diverse information. Finally, TimesNet is adopted to integrate fused multimodal water environment information for water quality prediction. Experimental results on a real-world dataset show that LMF - TimesNet achieves higher prediction accuracy and generalization ability than its state-of-the-art peers. © 2024 IEEE.

As the steady-state frequency of an actual power system decreases from its nominal value,the composite load of the system generally responds positively to lower power consumption,and vice *** is believed that this load frequency damping(LFD)effect will be artificially enhanced,i.e.,sensitivities of loads with respect to operational frequency will increase,in future power ***,for wind-integrated power systems,this paper proposes a frequency-dependent chance constrained unit commitment(FDCCUC)model that employs the operational frequency as a dispatching variable so that the LFD effect-based load power can act as a supplemental *** the frequency deviation is safely restricted,this low-cost reserve can be sufficiently exerted to upgrade the wind power accommodation capability of a power system that is normally confined by an inadequate reserve to cope with uncertain wind power forecasting ***,when the FDCCUC model is applied to a bulk AC/DC hybrid power system consisting of several independently operated regional AC grids interconnected by DC tie-lines,a hierarchically implemented searching algorithm is proposed to protect private scheduling information of the regional AC *** on a 2-area 6-bus system and a 3-area 354-bus system verify the effectiveness of the FDCCUC model and hierarchical searching algorithm.

As we all know, LSTM is a very effective text feature representation model based on deep learning, so it has excellent performance in text classification and sequence labeling problems. In this paper, we propose a novel text feature representation model based on LSTM, which creatively incorporates manifold learning methods, which can maintain the geometric structure between sentences. First, we obtain the vector representation of text based on LSTM, which contains text sequence information. Then, manifold learning method is used to construct the adjacency graph structure of text representations to characterize the local geometric structure information of text representations, thereby revealing the essential laws between texts. By introducing manifold learning methods, our model can learn the potential relationships between texts, which can help improve the performance of downstream tasks. In common natural language tasks such as text classification and named entity recognition, we designed some experiments to compare the proposed model with the conventional LSTM models. The experimental results show that the model incorporating manifold learning achieves better performance than the baseline model. © 2024 IEEE.

The present study centres on the application of an all-encompassing methodology for optimizing the parameters of Fluidized Bed Dryer (FBD). First, a dataset with various FBD attributes are subjected to Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Subsequently, a variety of regression algorithms, including multiple linear regressors, support vector classifiers, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting regressors, are employed to analyze the identified key attributes. These attributes comprise the actual values of inlet air flow, inlet air temperature, exhaust air temperature, loss on drying, product temperature, and total drying time. When it comes to predicting the total drying time, the gradient boosting regressor performs better than others. A novel optimization technique called Bayesian optimization is used to find the optimized values of highly correlated features with the total drying time in order further maximize efficiency. This integrated approach uses both sophisticated machine learning algorithms for predictive modelling and optimization techniques to fine-tune specific parameters that are critical for the Fluidized Bed Dryer. The study's findings provide useful information about enhancing FBDs' overall performance and efficacy, which advances drying processes in a variety of industries. © 2024 IEEE.
