To maximize energy profit with the participation of electricity,natural gas,and district heating networks in the day-ahead market,stochastic scheduling of energy hubs taking into account the uncertainty of photovoltaic and wind resources,has been carried *** has been done using a new meta-heuristic algorithm,improved artificial rabbits optimization(IARO).In this study,the uncertainty of solar and wind energy sources is modeled using Hang’s two-point estimating method(TPEM).The IARO algorithm is applied to calculate the best capacity of hub energy equipment,such as solar and wind renewable energy sources,combined heat and power(CHP)systems,steamboilers,energy storage,and electric cars in the *** standard ARO algorithmis developed to mimic the foraging behavior of rabbits,and in this work,the algorithm’s effectiveness in avoiding premature convergence is improved by using the dystudynamic inertia weight *** proposed IARO-based scheduling framework’s performance is evaluated against that of traditional ARO,particle swarm optimization(PSO),and salp swarm algorithm(SSA).The findings show that,in comparison to previous approaches,the suggested meta-heuristic scheduling framework based on the IARO has increased energy profit in day-ahead electricity,gas,and heating markets by satisfying the operational and energy hub ***,the results show that TPEM approach dependability consideration decreased hub energy’s profit by 8.995%as compared to deterministic planning.

This paper presents a novel policy iteration (PI) based event-triggered cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) approach for vehicular platoons, which are composed of autonomous vehicles. An observer is established to observe the signal of leading vehicle. To reduce computation and communication resources, event-triggered based adaptive optimal controllers are designed by using the PI algorithm without relying on the knowledge of system dynamics. Sufficient conditions are introduced to achieve the leader-to-formation stability (LFS) of the vehicular platoons. Simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed design. © 2024 IEEE.

With increasing the awareness of environmentally friendly, the ship-integrated energy system (S-IES) combined with power and heating networks has become an upcoming trend in the shipbuilding industry. It decreases the consumption of fuel-based resources by integrating renewable energy resources to replace traditional fossil-based generators partly. Meanwhile, with many intelligent devices, the S-IES performs partitioned and autonomous features because of the unique operational structure. Therefore, the normal operation of S-IES is highly vulnerable, which will be bothered by the infeasibility-driven attack for shipboard devices and influenced by the uncertainties of renewable energy resources. To this end, the energy management problem (EMP) under cyber attacks for S-IES is focused on ensuring secure and green sailing in this article. To balance the number of nods and decrease the communication resources among energy devices, a partitioning algorithm is designed to construct the energy router (ER)-based energy hub (EH) for S-IES. Meanwhile, considering the tradeoff relationship between the economy and carbon emission, a multiobjective energy management model with feasible sailing constraints is designed. Then, to ensure the information exchange among EHs using ERs, a distributed resilient energy management strategy with a detection mechanism is proposed to acquire the optimal solutions under cyber attack. Finally, the theoretical analysis verifies the effectiveness of the designed distributed resilient strategy. Simulation results of different scenarios prove the great performance on ensuring secure and green sailing for ships by the constructed energy management model and its distributed resilient strategy. © 2015 IEEE.

The authors of this paper propose a block diagram for a dual-operating buffer on a dynamic optical RAM. The buffer consists of two dynamic optical RAMs, each controlled separately to allow for simultaneous writing and reading of data, thereby improving performance. This setup enables data to be read from the buffer while new data is being written to it. Implementing a dual-operating buffer on a dynamic optical RAM has the potential to enhance the performance of high-speed data transmission in telecommunications networks. The authors conducted numerical calculations to compare failure probabilities between single-operation and dual-operation buffers on dynamic optical RAM. The results indicated that using a dual-operating buffer significantly reduces the probability of failure with the same buffer memory capacity compared to a single-operating buffer. Additionally, the authors analyzed the effectiveness of the proposed dual-operating buffer. The analysis confirmed that exploiting dynamic optical memory for buffering enhances data transfer speed and efficiency due to the inherent properties of optical data transfer, such as high bandwidth and low latency. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the main reasons for Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the disorder of some neural circuits. Existing methods for AD prediction have achieved great success, however, detecting abnormal neural circuits from the perspective of brain networks is still a big challenge. In this work, a novel decoupling generative adversarial network (DecGAN) is proposed to detect abnormal neural circuits for AD. Concretely, a decoupling module is designed to decompose a brain network into two parts: one part is composed of a few sparse graphs that represent the neural circuits largely determining the development of AD;the other part is a supplement graph, whose influence on AD can be ignored. Furthermore, the adversarial strategy is utilized to guide the decoupling module to extract the feature more related to AD. Meanwhile, by encoding the detected neural circuits to hypergraph data, an analytic module associated with the hyperedge neurons algorithm is designed to identify the neural circuits. More importantly, a novel sparse capacity loss based on the spatial-spectral hypergraph similarity is developed to minimize the intrinsic topological distribution of neural circuits, which can significantly improve the accuracy and robustness of the proposed model. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model can effectively detect the abnormal neural circuits at different stages of AD, which is helpful for pathological study and early treatment. © 2020 IEEE.

Modern information technology is driving the rapid development of the information and automation industry through the combination of computer technology, communication technology, and control technology. Inspired by nature's cluster movement, such as birds, people proposed the concept of Multi-Agent Systems (MASs). This paper deals with the formation control problem for a class of heterogeneous multi-agent systems with time-delays. First, the formation control of heterogeneous multi-agent systems with communication delay in fixed and switching topologies is investigated. A heterogeneous multi-agent system model with input delay and communication delay is established. Furthermore, based on this model, the formation control protocol is designed and the stability of the proposed control protocol in fixed and switched topologies is analyzed. The first- and second-order multi-agent control system was formulated for both fixed and switched topology, respectively. Then, using the new LMI toolbox, the feasibility of the parameters is obtained and the example is created by MATLAB. The simulation results show that the proposed formation control protocol with delay in this paper can make the systems converge to the expected value under fixed and switched hierarchies. © 2013 IEEE.

In realistic distributed optimization scenarios, individual nodes possess only partial information and communicate over bandwidth constrained channels. For this reason, the development of efficient distributed algorithms is essential. In our paper we addresses the challenge of unconstrained distributed optimization. In our scenario each node's local function exhibits strong convexity with Lipschitz continuous gradients. The exchange of information between nodes occurs through 3-bit bandwidth-limited channels (i.e., nodes exchange messages represented by a only 3 -bits). Our proposed algorithm respects the network's bandwidth constraints by leveraging zoom-in and zoom-out operations to adjust quantizer parameters dynamically. We show that during our algorithm's operation nodes are able to converge to the exact optimal solution. Furthermore, we show that our algorithm achieves a linear convergence rate to the optimal solution. We conclude the paper with simulations that highlight our algorithm's unique characteristics. © 2024 IEEE.

The human body is not able to detect whether the air is polluted or not, which is why it is important to have a device that can measure the air quality, both in the closed environment and in nature. Thus, air pollution is defined as a harmful phenomenon to the ecological system and to the normal conditions of human existence and development when certain substances in the atmosphere exceed a certain concentration. The paper proposes an indoor air monitoring system for healthcare facilities, using an Arduino Mega2560 board, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, eCO2 (equivalent CO2 which designates global warming potential), TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and atmospheric pressure sensor. The technologies used for the software implementation are Arduino IDE for the acquisition of data from sensors and Visual Studio for the graphical interface implementation. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Spectrum sensing is a crucial technology for cognitive radios and cognitive wireless sensing networks. In order to improve spectrum utilization and avoid interference to primary users, it is necessary to detect whether the spectrum is occupied accurately. This paper proposes a sequence-to-sequence model based on WaveNet structure for spectrum sensing as a practical solution and obtaining the occupied time location. Compared with the traditional Convolutional Neuron Network, the model proposed in this paper can be based on the signal data, reducing the dimension of input signal, and alleviating the computational burden. Furthermore, the model considers the data sequence dependence on time to obtain a comprehensive judgment, and achieves the classification of the corresponding sampling point data on each time step to realize spectrum sensing and time location Based on the data-sequence analysis, researchers can develop more efficient wireless sensor management strategies. The model alleviates gradient-vanishing and gradient-exploding problems in longtime dependence or long time-series data that generated by high sampling data. Reducing the computational cost and energy consumption of wireless sensor networks is another novel feature of the proposed model. Compared with RNN models, the proposed model reduces the number of model parameters on a large scale. At the same time, the model can achieve the parallel signal processing and energy-saving optimization without extra parameters. © 2022 IEEE.

With the continuous development of today's society, the ability to respond to unexpected events and emergencies is crucial for ensuring public safety and protecting property. However, traditional emergency response methods have some limitations and challenges, such as on-site operational risks, insufficient human resources, and difficulties in real-time decision-making. The use of mechanical equipment to perform specific tasks in unknown environments and scenarios or to analyze and make decisions based on the on-site conditions has become a trend. On this premise, this paper proposes a digital twin platform based on Unity3D software. The system collects real-time information in the real environment and feeds it back to the virtual platform. It uses a four-wheel, dual-drive intelligent car as the motion carrier, which carries a Six-degree of freedom industrial robotic arm to work synchronously, and uses an intelligent camera to detect environmental information, to realize the three-dimensional perception interaction between virtual and reality, and it can achieve remote control of real rescue robots by manipulating the robotic arm and its carrier in twin scenarios to replicate the actions of industrial equipment in real scenarios. The experimental results indicate that the system exhibits good performance and flexibility in emergency response. Through remote control of industrial robotic arms and smart cars, as well as the use of digital twin models, the operators can respond to emergencies in a better way and make timely and accurate decisions, providing early warning as well as making search and rescue plans for emergency rescue to work. © 2023 IEEE.
