The nearest level approximation control algorithm(nlm) is employed for multi-level multi-module(mmc) in the flexible high-voltage direct current(hdvc) *** decimal part of this algorithm needs to input sine digital pulse width modulator(dpwm),however,since the dpwmis too sensitive and less stable,the output digital pulse becomes too narrow and the digital signal frequency changes too *** order to solve the multilevel problems of the inverter frequency operation,the hysteretic Schmidt comparison method is proposed to meet the requirement of *** method can not only ensure the stability of the output digital signal,but also can adjust the hysteretic Schmidt trigger threshold,obtain more ideal digital pulse width which reduces the digital signal output frequency and make digital output signals stable and the pulse width,the grading sorting algorithm and guarantee the reduction of the output control pulse *** feasibility of the method is verified through simulation and the actual running results of this method in field-programmable gate array(fpga) show that the study of nlm control algorithm can optimize the flexible hvdc control requirements.

Quantum hamiltonian identification with classical colored measurement noise

In this paper, we present a Hamiltonian identification method for a closed quantum system whose time trace observables are measured with colored measurement noise. The dynamics of the quantum system are described by a Liouville equation which can be converted to a coherence vector representation. Since the measurement process is disturbed by classical colored noise, we introduce an augmented system model to describe the total dynamics, where the classical colored noise is parameterized. Based on the augmented system model as well as the measurement data, we can find a realization of the quantum system with unknown parameters by employing an Eigenstate Realization Algorithm. The unknown parameters can be identified using a transfer-function-based technique. An example of a two-qubit system with colored measurement noise is demonstrated to verify the effectiveness of our method. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Distributed cooperative guidance for maneuvering targets with directed conmunication topologies

This paper studies the distributed cooperative guidance for maneuvering targets with directed communication topologies. First, a guidance system model is established based on the geometric relationship between the aircraft and the target, in which the nonlinear problem is solved by feedback linearization. In this design, the unknown maneuver of the target is observed by the extended state observer, and the estimation of the unknown maneuver of the target is applied to the design of the guidance law. In this process, the influence of the target maneuvering on the time-to-go is eliminated by means of direct compensation. Then, the designed guidance law is brought into the guidance model, transforming the problem of cooperative guidance into the problem of consensus. Next, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the designed cooperative guidance law are obtained by conducting the pole analysis. Finally, the designed cooperative guidance law and the method of the parameter selection are analyzed by adopting the simulation analysis. © 2020, Beihang University Aerospace Knowledge Press. Anomaly detection plays a key role in maintaining the reliable and stable operation of industrial systems, especially in high-reliability fields. Conventional single-modal data cannot provide comprehensive information about the detected object, resulting in false or missed detection. To address the challenges of complex anomaly patterns and heterogeneous data in industrial scenarios, we propose MMDT-IAD, a multi-modal digital twin (DT)-based anomaly detection framework that integrates edge–cloud collaboration. By lever- aging physical, geometric, visual, and semantic modalities, MMDT-IAD constructs a comprehensive virtual representation of monitored objects and enables real-time, scalable detection across distributed industrial environments. Next, to enable efficient fusion of heterogeneous DT modalities, we propose a One-Primary- Three-Auxiliary (1P3A) cross-modal decision fusion strategy. Finally, we apply the MMDT-IAD frame-work to the anomaly detection of aviation electrical connector pins, and present a detailed application process. The experimental results prove the effectiveness of the MMDT-IAD framework in detecting abnormal pins. Moreover, we discuss the generality of MMDT-IAD framework considering several common industrial anomalies. These results highlight the potential of MMDT-IAD framework and 1P3A method to significantly improve anomaly detection in other complex industrial scenarios.

This paper proposes a distributed estimates fusion algorithm for target tracking problem based on consensus method and cubature kalman filter with switching topology network. In order to get the accurate state information of maneuvering target via sensor network, this paper develops filter algorithm by taking the advantage of consensus method and cubature kalman filter. Firstly, each sensor node gets the local estimation by performing cubature kalman filter algorithm. Secondly, we develops a fusion protocol to fuse the estimates from each sensor node in the sensor network based on the consensus method. In this step, the switching topologies of sensor network is considered and the sufficient condition for the algorithm proposed in this paper is given. Besides, this paper analyses the boundedness of the algorithm proposed and gives the detailed proof of convergence. Finally, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

In this paper, we utilize a feedback strategy to stabilize a single qubit in a non-Markovian environment with a Lorentzian spectrum. The non-Markovian single qubit is represented in an augmented system model, where an ancillary system is introduced as the internal mode of the environment to generate Lorentzian noise. The density matrix of the single qubit can be estimated by using an augmented-system-based quantum stochastic master equation. Then a feedback controller can be driven by the estimates to stabilize the qubit in a target state. Simulations show the feedback strategy can provide effective control of the non-Markovian single qubit. © 2017 IEEE.

Contraction analysis on primal-dual gradient optimization

This paper analyzes the contraction of the primaldual gradient optimization via contraction theory in the context of discrete-time updating dynamics. The contraction theory based on Riemannian manifolds is first established for convergence analysis of a convex optimization algorithm. The equality and inequality constrained optimization cases are studied, respectively. Under some reasonable assumptions, we construct the Riemannian metric to characterize a contraction region. It is shown that if the step-sizes of the updating dynamics are properly designed, the convergence rates for both cases can be obtained according to the contraction region in which the convergence can be ***, the augmented Lagrangian function which is projection free is adopted to tackle the inequality constraints. Some numerical experiments are simulated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented contraction analysis results on primal-dual gradient optimization algorithm. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. Distributed model predictive control under inexact primal-dual gradient optimization based on contraction analysis

This paper develops a distributed model predictive control (DMPC) strategy for a class of discrete-time linear systems with consideration of globally coupled constraints. The DMPC under study is based on the dual problem concerning all subsystems, which is solved by means of the primal-dual gradient optimization in a distributed manner using Laplacian consensus. To reduce the computational burden, the constraint tightening method is utilized to provide a capability of premature termination with guaranteeing the convergence of the DMPC optimization. The contraction theory is first adopted in the convergence analysis of the primal-dual gradient optimization under discrete-time updating dynamics towards a nonlinear objective function. Under some reasonable assumptions, the recursive feasibility and stability of the closed-loop system can be established under the inexact solution. A numerical simulation is given to verify the performance of the proposed strategy. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The fault diagnosis scheme of the rotor bearing system often conducted by using either signal analysis approach or modeling method. In practice, the structure of the rotor bearing system is complex and contains many nonlinear factors. Therefore, it is hard to use the model-based method for fault detection. Thus, signal analysis approach is more efficient. In the signal analysis approach, frequency response function is widely applied. However, the existing analyzing methods of frequency response function have some limitations, such as multidimensional property. Thus, in this study, the concept of Nonlinear Response Spectrum Function(NRSF) is proposed to solve the problem. Finally, a simulation is conducted to identify the multi-fault rotor bearing systems by the proposed NRSFs feature and Support Vector Machine(SVM) classifier, showing that the NRSF-SVM approach has an excellent performance in fault identification of rotor bearing system.

Parameter Estimations of Heston Model Based on Consistent Extended Kalman Filter

Heston model is widely applied to financial institutions, while there still exist difficulties in estimating the parameters and volatilities of this model. In this paper, the pseudo-Maximum Likelihood Estimation and consistent extended Kalman filter (PMLE-CEKF) are implemented synchronously to estimate the Heston model. For parameter estimations, PMLE for the state equation and the measurement equation of the Heston model are conducted independently. For volatility estimations, the consistent extended Kalman filter (CEKF) algorithm is introduced to ensure the volatility to be well evaluated. Additionally, the estimation results of the Heston model are compared between PMLE-CEKF and PMLE-EKF algorithm. The numerical simulations illustrate that PMLE-CEKF algorithm works more efficiently than PMLE-EKF algorithm. Application of the PMLE-CEKF to S&P 500 shows the utility of the proposed algorithm. © 2017
