Online social networks strongly impact our daily lives. An internet user (a “Netizen”) wants messages to be efficiently disseminated. The susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) dissemination model is the traditional tool for exploring the spreading mechanism of information diffusion. We here test our SIR-based dissemination model on open and real-world data collected from Twitter. We locate and identify phase transitions in the message dissemination process. We find that message content is a stronger factor than the popularity of the sender. We also find that the probability that a message will be forwarded has a threshold that affects its ability to spread, and when the probability is above the threshold the message quickly achieves mass dissemination.

This paper proposes an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) scheme for automatic carrier landing system (ACLS) in final approach. To track desired touchdown point (DTP) altitude in the presence of carrier air wake turbulence and deck motion, based on the estimation and compensation of internal dynamics and external disturbances by extended state observer (ESO), outer-loop altitude controller and inner-loop attitude controllers are designed via ADRC. Moreover, tracking differentiator-based deck motion compensation (TD-DMC) is designed to eliminate the inherent phase lag in ACLS. In addition, controller parameters are optimized via a novel Levy flight based whale optimization algorithm (LWOA). Finally, comparative simulations demonstrate that the proposed ADRC-based ACLS has better tracking performance and robustness compared to conventional ACLS.

This paper studies the estimation of the state of lithium battery(SOC), and develops an improved extended Kalman filter algorithm for this problem. To compensate deficiencies of the simple polynomial fitting, the neural network algorithm firstly is adopted to simulate the relation curve between the SOC and the parameters of circuit model, which is constructed based on Thevenin circuit. And then the state space equation among the battery's SOC and the voltage of the ends of the RC loop is established, also does the measurement equation which is based on the battery output voltage. In addition, extended Kalman is applied to estimate battery SOC. In the last, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified using an experimental testing, and the results show that our method can estimate the SOC more accurately comparing with the standard extended Kalman algorithm.

This paper studies the problem of image-based leader-follower formation control for mobile robots, where the controller is designed independently of the leader's motion. An adaptive control scheme, which is suitable for both omnidirectional and perspective cameras, is proposed. The proposed approach avoids the need for accurate calibration of the extrinsic parameters of the omnidirectional camera as well as the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of perspective camera. Additionally, the coefficients of the plane where the feature point moves relative to the camera frame can be uncertain. These uncertain constant parameters are estimated using an adaptive estimator. Uniform Semi-global Practical Asymptotic Stability (USPAS) of the system is shown using the Lyapunov approach. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

The ac servo system plays an increasingly important role in modern society. The ac servo drive technology based on FPGA becomes important research direction for its advantages of fast processing speed and flexible designing. A permanent magnet synchronous motor servo controlsystem based on FPGA was model-based designed in this paper. It built three-closed-loop servo control model in Simulink which can simulate the performance of the algorithm, and it completed automatic code generation and configuration in Xilinx Zynq–7000. In addition, it built a complete set of permanent magnet synchronous motor servo control hardware platform. This paper proposes an integrated design and simulation method based on FPGA servo control to improve the efficiency of system design.
