Radial basis function (RBF) network is one of the significant neural networks. It has been used successfully in various fields. But in RBF network approximation algorithm, the initial value of the network weights, Gauss function center vector and broad-based vector is not easy to determine, and when these parameter choice is undeserved, RBF network approximation precision will decline and even the serious consequences of network spread will be produced. By using genetic algorithm in this paper, which can better realize RBF network parameter optimization, thereby increasing the accuracy of approximation. Scilab is open source software and has good simulation capabilities. Experiments using Scilab shows that the optimization method of genetic neural network is feasible and results are satisfied. © 2011 IEEE.

Smart Grid is one of the hot research directions of power system. How to interconnect the wind power generation with power system safely and reliably is a major challenge in the development of Smart Grid. Wind power generation interconnection standards are the technology base, which will push the development of smart grid. This paper compares the wind power generation interconnection standards of home and abroad mainly. It is pointed out the inadequacy of existing standards and that wind power generation interconnection standards should focus on power quality and low voltage ride through. This paper can be provided as a reference to improve existing standards and establish interconnection standards of other form new energy generation.

In this paper, a microgrid hierarchical control scheme is proposed which includes primary and secondary control levels. The primary level comprises distributed generators (DGs) local controllers. The local controller mainly consists of active and reactive power controllers, voltage and current controllers, and virtual impedance loop. A novel virtual impedance structure is proposed to achieve proper sharing of non-fundamental power among the microgrid DGs. The secondary level is designed to manage compensation of voltage harmonics at the microgrid load bus (LB) to which the sensitive loads may be connected. Also, restoration of LB voltage amplitude and microgrid frequency to the rated values is directed by the secondary level. These functions are achieved by sending proper control signals to the local controllers. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. © 2011 IEEE.

Resource management is a complicated problem in multiprocessor system. When tasks with real-time characteristic are scheduled on processor resource constraints such as CPU and memory have to be met, however, it is usually difficult for a system to ensure load balancing and resource constraints simultaneity. In order to handle this problem lots of algorithms have been brought forward. In this paper, a load balancing policy is proposed to manage and integrate processing resource of multiprocessor system which is used to send packets of packets flows on time. The policy dynamically predicts the wait time before a packet to be processed based on the load of the processor and the timestamp of the packet, and decides the migration of packet between processors to guarantee that the packets can be processed before deadline. This policy can not only increase the multiprocessor utilization but also enhance the capacity of the system against the jitter of load by packets migration between the processors as well. We use simulation experiment to show that the policy can reduce the possibility of packets delay and increase the concurrency of flows that the system can serve.1 © 2011 AICIT.

The static nonlinear feature of narrow band Radio Frequency Power Amplifier (RF PA) is made as the fingerprint of wireless communication emitter. RF PA with unknown input can be looked as a static nonlinear Hammerstein model. The process of feature extraction from this model is split into two steps. The first step is signal samples whitening and the second is the estimation of Taylor series' coefficients. The order statistics of the whitening signal samples is monotone. Then the features are estimated through linear regression using least square method. Comparing feature vectors of 4 RF power amplifiers results in that the proposed algorithm is effectively to identification different type of RF power amplifiers.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a common movement disorder caused from the neurological dysfunction in basal ganglia. Patients with Parkinson's disease have serious movement problems, such as movement disorders, tremor and rigidity. In this study, a new technique of hand movement compensation for patients with Parkinson's disease based on spiral drawing tasks was proposed. In order to extract the hand movement feature of patients with Parkinson's disease, the polar coordination system with varied origin was used to gain characteristic parameters more accurately. The compensation model was constructed by using the parameters obtained in spiral drawing tasks, and we also do simulation under this model to verify the effectiveness. The simulation results proved that the proposed compensation technique will be effective for assisting the movement of patients with Parkinson's disease.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a common disease of central nervous system among the elderly, and its complex symptoms bring up some difficulties for the clinical diagnosis. And Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is an effective treatment method for patients with Parkinson's disease. In this study, a method based on polar coordination system with varied origin was proposed to quantitatively evaluate the availability of DBS operation for patients with Parkinson's disease. Totally, seven patients with Parkinson's disease were participated in the spiral drawing experiment and their scores under Unified Parkinson's disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) were also recorded. According to the characteristics of hand movement in spiral drawing, a set of parameters were defined and calculated before and after DBS operation. Compared with the UPDRS scores, experimental results showed that this method of evaluation was consistent with the clinical diagnosis. The proposed method based on polar coordinate system with varied origin is effective in clinical diagnosis, and it provides a basis for quantitative evaluating the effectiveness of surgery and treatment.

In this study, a method based on mathematical modeling of hand movement in spiral drawing was proposed to quantitatively evaluate the performance of patients with Parkinson's disease. Unlike the previous works, the hand movement data in spiral drawing were analyzed and modeled under the polar coordinate system with varied origin. Experimental results gained from the model showed that this method of evaluation was consistent with the clinical diagnosis before and after deep brain stimulation operation. The proposed method based on mathematical modeling in polar coordinate system with varied origin is effective in clinical diagnosis, and it provides a basis for quantitative evaluating the effectiveness of surgery and treatment.

Chinese high speed rail network has been given more and more attentions recent years, and it is adopted to improve the whole developments of society. Medium-short term planning of Chinese high speed rail network is given and the topological structure of Chinese high-speed rail network is discussed to investigate the reliability of network based on complex network theory and graph theory. Several parameters are presented to assess the topological characteristics of Chinese high speed rail network, and the reliability and robustness of the network subject to attacks can be evaluated. The parameter called unit degree betwweenness is firstly proposed to assess the transportation capacity of lines connecting with the nodes. Two attack protocols, the largest degree node-based attacks and the highest betweenness node-based attacks, are involved into Chinese high speed rail network to assess the topological reliability and robustness, and the results show that the highest betweenness node-based attacks can cause more damages to the network than the largest degree node-based attacks. Structural interventions are adopted to improve the global connectivity and enhance the reliability and robustness of Chinese high speed rail network, and they are proved to be effective by simulations. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

In this study,Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) algorithm is developed to estimate the parameters of Hammerstein-Wiener (H-W) ARMAX *** basic idea is to estimate the original parameters of the identification model,which are appeared in the form of product terms,***,other algorithms like Extended Forgetting Factor Stochastic Gradient (EFG),Extended Stochastic Gradient (ESG),Forgetting Factor Recursive Least Square (FFRLS) and Kalman Filter (KF),estimate parameters in the product form and they need another algorithms such averaging method (AVE method),singular value decomposition method (SVD method) to separate the ***,the computational complexity of the proposed approach *** show the efficiency of this method the results are compared with EFG and ESG method.
