With the gradual diversification of modern application scenes, the demand for UAV path planning is becoming more and more abundant. This paper first introduces a possible battle scenario, and the problems that must be considered in path planning in this scene are analyzed: the maximum rotation angle constraint and the demand that the UAV can cross the threat zone flexibly. Maximum rotation angle and Adaptive crossing threat zone RRT * (MA-RRT*) algorithm is proposed to solve the above problems. The algorithm improves the reconnection process of neighbor set in RRT*, and adds the maximum rotation angle constraint to the RRT * framework, so that the generated path strictly meets this constraint. In addition, the above process also reduces the time consumption of RRT*, and the speed advantage of MA-RRT* becomes more and more obvious with the increase of iteration times. Then, the obstacle information is regarded as one of the components of the node cost of the path, and the original obstacle is regarded as a soft constraint. This enables the path to adaptively cross the threat zone, which is more in line with the actual situation. We compare our algorithm with RRT * in numerical simulation, which verifies the effectiveness and time consumption advantages of the algorithm.

Innovation-triggered Learning with Application to Data-driven Predictive control

Data-driven control has attracted lots of attention in recent years, especially for plants that are difficult to model based on first principles. In particular, a key issue in data-driven approaches is how to make efficient use of data as the abundance of data becomes overwhelming. To address this issue, this work proposes an innovation-triggered learning framework and a corresponding data-driven controller design approach with guaranteed stability. Specifically, we consider a linear time-invariant system with unknown dynamics. A set-membership approach is introduced to learn a parametric uncertainty set for the unknown dynamics. Then, a data selection mechanism is proposed by online evaluating the innovation contained in the sampled data, wherein the innovation is quantified by its effect of shrinking the parametric uncertainty set. Next, after introducing a stability criterion using the set-membership estimate of the system dynamics, a robust data-driven predictive controller is designed by minimizing a worst-case cost function. The closed-loop stability of the data-driven predictive controller equipped with the innovation-triggered learning protocol is discussed within a high probability framework. Finally, comparative numerical experiments are performed to verify the validity of the proposed approach, and the characteristics and the design principle of the learning hyper-parameter are also discussed. The controllability of networked sampled-data systems with zero-order holders on the control and transmission channels is explored, where single- and multi-rate sampling patterns are considered, respectively. The effects of sampling on the controllability of networked systems are analyzed, with some necessary and/or sufficient controllability conditions derived. Different from the sampling control of single systems, the pathological sampling of node systems could be eliminated by an appropriate design of network structure and inner couplings. While for singular topology matrices, the pathological sampling of single nodes will cause the entire system to lose controllability. Moreover, any periodic sampling will not affect the controllability of networked systems with specific node dynamics. All the results indicate that whether a networked system is under pathological sampling or not is jointly determined by mutually coupled factors. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

This paper considers privacy-concerned distributed constraint-coupled resource allocation problems over an undirected network, where each agent holds a private cost function and obtains the solution via only local communication. With privacy concerns, we mask the exchanged information with independent Laplace noise against attackers with potential access to all network communications. We propose a differentially private distributed mismatch tracking algorithm (diff-DMAC) to achieve cost-optimal distribution of resources while preserving privacy. Adopting constant stepsizes, the linear convergence property of diff-DMAC in mean square is established under the standard assumptions of Lipschitz smoothness and strong convexity. Moreover, it is theoretically proven that the proposed algorithm is ϵ-differentially private. And we also show the trade-off between convergence accuracy and privacy level. Finally, a numerical example is provided for verification.

With the transformation towards industrial intel-ligence, multi-core processors are increasingly being applied in real-time networked control systems to ensure secure exe-cution of sensing, computing and actuating tasks under time constraints. However, existing scheduling methods result in either low CPU utilization or many missed task deadlines in dynamic systems. In this paper, we propose a two-layer scheduling architecture to address this issue by fully exploring the complex dependency between real-time tasks. To be specific, the local layer determines task execution priorities considering both dependency between tasks and deadline constraints by utilizing a reinforcement learning approach. Moreover, to better utilize the parallel capabilities of multi-core processors and reduce temporal collisions, this paper minimizes the requested core count for the task set based on a greedy strategy. The global layer designs a scheduling algorithm based on the pre-empt method and provides schedulability analysis of multiple task sets. Experimental results validate the correctness of the proposed scheduling approach, and efficiency is demonstrated through comparisons with baseline method.

Unsupervised Learning of 3D Scene Flow from Monocular Camera

Scene flow represents the motion of points in the 3D space, which is the counterpart of the optical flow that represents the motion of pixels in the 2D image. However, it is difficult to obtain the ground truth of scene flow in the real scenes, and recent studies are based on synthetic data for training. Therefore, how to train a scene flow network with unsupervised methods based on real-world data shows crucial significance. A novel unsupervised learning method for scene flow is proposed in this paper, which utilizes the images of two consecutive frames taken by monocular camera without the ground truth of scene flow for training. Our method realizes the goal that training scene flow network with real-world data, which bridges the gap between training data and test data and broadens the scope of available data for training. Unsupervised learning of scene flow in this paper mainly consists of two parts: (i) depth estimation and camera pose estimation, and (ii) scene flow estimation based on four different loss functions. Depth estimation and camera pose estimation obtain the depth maps and camera pose between two consecutive frames, which provide further information for the next scene flow estimation. After that, we used depth consistency loss, dynamic-static consistency loss, Chamfer loss, and Laplacian regularization loss to carry out unsupervised training of the scene flow network. To our knowledge, this is the first paper that realizes the unsupervised learning of 3D scene flow from monocular camera. The experiment results on KITTI show that our method for unsupervised learning of scene flow meets great performance compared to traditional methods Iterative Closest Point (ICP) and Fast Global Registration (FGR). The heterogeneous system consisting of the wireless control system (WCS) and mobile agent system (MAS) is ubiquitous in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems. Within this system, the positions of mobile agents may lead to shadow fading on the wireless channel that the WCS is controlled over and can significantly compromise the WCS’s performance. This paper focuses on the controller design for the MAS to ensure the performance of WCS in the presence of WCS and MAS coupling. Firstly, the constrained finite field network (FFN) with profile-dependent switching topology is adopted to proceed the operational control for the MAS. By virtue of the algebraic state space representation (ASSR) method, an equivalent form is obtained for the WCS and MAS coupling. A necessary and sufficient condition in terms of constrained set stabilization is then established to ensure the Lyapunov-like performance with expected decay rate. Finally, a graphical method together with the breath-first searching is provided to design state feedback controllers for the MAS. With this method, it is easy to check the constrained set stabilization of MAS and to ensure the performance requirements of WCS in the presence of WCS and MAS coupling. The study of an illustrative example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Steam generator is the key equipment in the large and complex nuclear power plant, and its water supply system has the characteristics of time-varying, large delay, nonlinear. In this paper, a segmented linearized model based on wavelet neural network is developed for a steam generator feedwater system of a nuclear power plant. All the data of the automation stages of the steam generator, which are steam flow rate, feedwater flow rate and liquid level from 20% load to 100% load, are collected and divided into six stages based on the characteristics of the data. For the first four stages of data, the feedwater system was modelled using the Hammerstein-Wiener method based on wavelet neural network, which was used as the nonlinear input and nonlinear output module of Hammerstein-Wiener. And for the remaining two stages of data, the nonlinear autoregressive models based on with exogenous (ARX) inputs model approach was modelled using nonlinear ARX as the underlying framework of wavelet neural network. The proposed model can be used for model predictive control to switch between different models based on load changes. Through the verification of simulation experiments, the built model can accurately reflect the trend of actual data, and the predicted values have high accuracy and reliability.

This paper proposes a novel online-learning-enabled hierarchical distributionally robust energy management framework for multi-microgrids (MMGs) with off-site hydrogen refueling stations (HRSs). The proposed framework integrates day-ahead scheduling, intra-day rescheduling and real-time control. The day-ahead scheduling is implemented via a central energy management system for optimal joint scheduling of the MMG systems and off-site HRSs, then the intra-day rescheduling is carried out to optimize the real-time operation and to generate the reference for local controllers. To adequately characterize the statistical properties of renewable and load uncertainties from data streams, we leverage a Dirichlet process mixture model to construct an online-update ambiguity set, which encodes multimodality and local moment information. Based upon this ambiguity set, an online-learning distributionally robust model predictive control (OL-DRMPC) is developed to enhance the tracking performance of energy storage references and to reduce conservatism while guaranteeing probabilistic operational constraints. Its effectiveness is verified in a case study.

RGBD images, which refer to the three-channel color images augmented with depth channel, have been greatly exploited to improve the performance of scene semantic segmentation. RGBD semantic segmentation task is of great significance to help the development of robot navigation and grasping. However, most existing methods addressing RGBD semantic segmentation lack effective feature fusion modules. To address the aforementioned problem, we propose a novel network with two novel modules for feature fusion, namely Channel-Attention based Complementary Feature Fusion Module (CAC-FFM) and Cross-Layer Feature Fusion Module (CL-FFM). Specifically, CAC-FFM, which is essentially based on the channel-attention mechanism, effectively utilizes the complementary information of RGB and depth to generate fusion features, and CL-FFM captures patch-wise features from low-level feature maps to assist the training of high-level features so as to further optimize the segmentation results. Experimental results on the publicly available NYUDv2 dataset validate the effectiveness and superiority of our proposed method.
