This paper proposes a Risk-Averse Just-In-Time (RAJIT) operation scheme for Ammonia-Hydrogen-based Micro-Grids (AHMGs) to boost electricity-hydrogen-ammonia coupling under uncertainties. First, an off-grid AHMG model is developed, featuring a novel multi-mode ammonia synthesis process and a hydrogen-ammonia dual gas turbine with tunable feed-in ratios. Subsequently, a state-behavior mapping strategy linking hydrogen storage levels with the operation modes of ammonia synthesis is established to prevent cost-ineffective shutdowns. The proposed model substantially improves operational flexibility but results in a challenging nonlinear fractional program. Based upon this model, a data-driven RAJIT scheme is developed for the real-time rolling optimization of AHMGs. Unlike conventional one-size-fits-all schemes using one optimization method throughout, the data-driven RAJIT intelligently switches between cost-effective deterministic optimization and risk-averse online-learning distributionally robust optimization depending on actual risk profiles, thus capitalizing on the respective strengths of these two optimization methods. To facilitate the solution of the resulting nonlinear program, we develop an equivalent-reformulation-based solution methodology by leveraging a constraint-tightening technique. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the proposed scheme guarantees safety and yields an overall cost reduction up to 14.6% compared with several state-of-the-art methods. © 2024, CC BY.

Substation is the core hub of power system. With the expansion of the scale of the power system and the improvement of its intelligence, the problems of the redundancy of architecture and equipment in the protection and monitoring system of substation can no longer be ignored. This paper proposes an evaluation method for integration in the protection and monitoring system based on G1 method. Firstly, according to the requirements of integration in the protection and monitoring system, the corresponding indicators are proposed to form an index system for evaluating integration. And then, an evaluation method is proposed for integration of the protection and monitoring system, based on G1 method and expert investigation. Finally, the feasibility of the evaluation method is verified by comparing and analyzing the evaluation results of a typical substation and its structural optimization substation.

This study proposes a hybrid vision/force control scheme for interaction with the inner surface of the bottle-like object. Based on the geometry of the object, a new generalized constraint called the bottleneck (BN) constraint is proposed, which ensures the tool passes through a fixed 3-D region and avoid collisions with the boundary of the region. To realize the hybrid vision/force control under the BN constraint, a novel dynamic controller is designed inspired by the hierarchical operational space, which can complete the different tasks defined in the decoupled subspace. To enhance the robustness of the algorithm, we develop a data-driven method and an adaptive method to estimate the Jacobian matrix online in force space and image space, respectively. The asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved by the Lyapunov theory. Experiments are conducted to validate the performance of the proposed method.

Local path planning algorithm is one of the key technologies for unmanned ground vehicle(UGV).In order to reduce the computational complexity of the local path planning algorithm and ensure the real-time performance of the algorithm,a non-uniform column grid lines modeling method is introduced,and on this basis,a modeling method for planning paths is *** at the path planning problem in a multi-obstacle environment,the evaluation function of the path is constructed from four aspects,and the covariance matrix adaptive evolution strategy(CMA-ES)is used to solve the nonlinear optimization *** order to further reduce the amount of calculation,the CMA-ES algorithm is improved by the dynamic adjustment strategy of population *** results show that the path planning algorithm can effectively realize the local path planning in complex environment.

In many-objective optimization problems (MaOPs), it is a difficult task for evolutionary algorithms to balance convergence and diversity while rapidly converging to the Pareto front. As the number of objectives increases, the difficulty of evolutionary algorithms increases with individual selection pressure. To address above problems, we propose a many-objective evolution algorithm assisted by an ideal hyperplane (MaOEA-IH). Firstly, the ideal hyperplane as a reference surface to guide the individual to search the Pareto front, which is established from the extremum of each dimension of the objective space. Secondly, a parallel p -norm mating selection strategy is proposed to improve convergence. In addition, two factors are considered in this strategy: 1) different p -norm are used to measure different spatial scales;2) individual selection uncertainty is defined by incorporating a probabilistic perturbation mechanism. Thirdly, the improved shift-based density estimation strategy is used as the evaluation criterion for environmental selection to improve the convergence and diversity of solution sets and enhance selection pressure. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, MAOEA-IH is compared with seven excellent algorithms in three benchmark sets (DTLZ, WFG and MaF). The results show that the proposed MAOEA-IH is highly competitive in solving MaOPs. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The security of mobile robotic networks (MRNs) has been an active research topic in recent years. This paper demonstrates that the observable interaction process of MRNs under formation control will present increasingly severe threats. Specifically, we find that an external attack robot, who has only partial observation over MRNs while not knowing the system dynamics or access, can learn the interaction rules from observations and utilize them to replace a target robot, destroying the cooperation performance of MRNs. We call this novel attack as sneak, which endows the attacker with the intelligence of learning knowledge and is hard to be tackled by traditional defense techniques. The key insight is to separately reveal the internal interaction structure within robots and the external interaction mechanism with the environment, from the coupled state evolution influenced by the model-unknown rules and unobservable part of the MRN. To address this issue, we first provide general interaction process modeling and prove the learnability of the interaction rules. Then, with the learned rules, we design an Evaluate-Cut-Restore (ECR) attack strategy considering the partial interaction structure and geometric pattern. We also establish the sufficient conditions for a successful sneak with maximum control impacts over the MRN. This paper examines the event-triggered consensus of the multi-agent system on matrix-weighted networks, where the interdependencies among higher-dimensional states of neighboring agents are characterized by matrix-weighted edges in the network. Specifically, a novel distributed dynamic event-triggered coordination strategy is proposed for this category of generalized networks, in which an auxiliary system is employed for each agent to dynamically adjust the triggering threshold, which plays an essential role in guaranteeing that the triggering time sequence does not exhibit Zeno behavior. Distributed event-triggered control protocols are proposed to guarantee leaderless and leader-follower consensus for multi-agent systems on matrix-weighted networks, respectively. Remarkably, the spectrum of matrix-valued weights is crucial in event-triggered mechanism design for matrix-weighted networks, generalizing those results only applicable for scalar-weighted networks. The proposed approach allows each agent to broadcast and receive information only at its triggering instants. Finally, simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the theoretical results. There has been work that exploits polynomial approximation to solve distributed nonconvex optimization problems involving univariate objectives. This idea facilitates arbitrarily precise global optimization without requiring local evaluations of gradients at every iteration. Nonetheless, there remains a gap between existing guarantees and practical requirements, e.g., privacy preservation and robustness to network imperfections. To fill this gap and keep the above strengths, we propose a Private and Robust Chebyshev-Proxy-based distributed Optimization Algorithm (PR-CPOA). Specifically, to ensure both the accuracy of solutions and the privacy of local objectives, we design a new privacy-preserving mechanism. This mechanism leverages the randomness in blockwise insertions of perturbed vector states and hence provides a stronger privacy guarantee in the scope of (α, β)-data-privacy. Furthermore, to gain robustness against network imperfections, we use the push-sum consensus protocol as a backbone and discuss its specific enhancements. Thanks to the purely consensus-type iterations, we avoid the privacy-accuracy trade-off and the bother of selecting proper step sizes in different settings. We rigorously analyze the accuracy, privacy, and complexity of the proposed algorithm. We show that the advantages brought by introducing polynomial approximation are maintained when all the above requirements exist. © 2021, CC BY-NC-SA.

Silicone rubber (SIR) has been widely used in the insulation of cable accessories due to its excellent performance. In this paper, pure SIR and nano $\boldsymbol{\text{Al}_2 \mathrm{O}_3 / \text{SIR}}$ composites are thermally aged for 0–80 days at $\boldsymbol{200^{\circ} \mathrm{C}}$ . The effects of long-term thermal aging on the space charge transport are analyzed. The results show that with the increase of thermal aging time, the accumulation of heteropolar charge of pure SIR and nano $\boldsymbol{\text{Al}_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3}/\text{SIR}}$ composites gradually decreases and changes to the accumulation of homopolar charge. Compared with pure SIR, the space charge accumulation of $\boldsymbol{\text{Al}_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3}/\text{SIR}}$ composites decreases significantly and changes little with the increase of thermal aging time. It is believed that when doped nano $\boldsymbol{\text{Al}_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3}}$ in SIR, the increase of carrier mobility and the introduction of metal oxides reacting with fallen free radicals to form stable compounds both lead to less space charge accumulation of $\boldsymbol{\text{Al}_{2}\mathrm{O}_{3}/\text{SIR}}$ composites.
