A scheduling problem in a wire rod and bar rolling process is very important and hard to solve in practical steel production *** paper considers a new scheduling problem originated from a wire rod and bar rolling process considering job release time and due time,as well as setup time between consecutive *** objectives are to minimize both the number of late jobs and total setup *** linear combination is used to measure a *** solve such a practical scheduling problem,four effective algorithms were *** experimental results show that all of the presented algorithms can well solve the considered *** them,iterated greedy algorithm shows the best solution *** great performance implies its readiness to be used in practical industrial scheduling systems.

This paper proposes an effective solution to the problem of one-to-one vehicle cargo matching in the fourth party logistics(4 PL) ***,base on the attributes of multiple vehicles and cargoes,both a preference matrix of cargoes to each vehicle considering vehicle type and a preference matrix of vehicles to each cargo considering profit can be *** on the preference matrices,a stable matching model is established with the objective of maximizing the platform revenue,among which,stability constraints are designed to avoid blocking pairs of the ***,CPLEX is used to solve the proposed *** that,numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the proposed stable matching model by comparing it with the traditional matching model without considering stable constraints in the one-to-one vehicle cargo matching cases with either the quantities of vehicles and cargoes balance or *** results show that compared with the traditional matching model without stability constraints,the stable matching model can achieve higher revenue and higher stability rate for the platform.

In this paper, we investigated collaboration energy efficiency with mobile edge computing (MEC) mechanism in internet of things (IoT), which is a challenge issue. In order to prolong the lifetime of IoT, we adopt dynamic clustering methods to improve energy efficiency while guaranteeing energy balance. We deign the sensor selection scheme for collecting data according to Pareto optimality. Concretely, by considering the reality of random deployment and introducing the definition of node density for IoT, we develop a Pareto optimality for sensor nodes selection in terms of energy efficiency. Furthermore, we recruit voluntary mobile devices as mobile edge computing servers to offload the data from selected sensor nodes in the cluster and process them to the estimate the data state. Simulations demonstrate the efficiency for the performance on energy balance in terms of efficiently prolonging the IoT lifetime. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Corporate Soctal Responsiomty（CSR） is consideted in a fourin-party logistics service supply chain,consisting of a Fourth Party Logistics supplier（4 PL） and a Third Party Logistics provider（3 PL）.In this research,a transportation price contract is designed to effectively improve the CSR performance,which is mainly determined by the3 PL's output of carbon dioxide（CO） *** associated cost for improving CSR performance level of the fourth-party logistics service supply chain is measured by a variable,which is only bring by the 3 PL with an expectation of being shared with the 4 PL via the transportation price *** such,the key issue is how the 4 PL can identify the contract parameters to effectively transfer the associated cost of the 3 PL in the 4 PL service supply chain dominated by4 PL,and to encourage the 3 PL to improve the performance level of CSR.A game-theoretical analysis is carried out on two games,bringing about different interaction plans between the 4 PL and the 3 PL,to derive their corresponding *** the numerical analysis on the equilibria,we find that the 4 PL service supply chain can achieve a win-win situation for both parties when the parameter values can be properly identified by the 4 PL in designing the transportation price ***,a well-designed contract can effectively motivate the 3 PL to improve the performance level of CSR.

The competition of logistics companies for market share is mainly reflected in logistics cost and customer satisfaction in the last-mile delivery process of *** traditional vehicle routing problem(VRP) did not take into account the customer behavior factor and alternative delivery options including home delivery and express *** proposed problem can be treated as an extension of the vehicle routing problem with soft time window(VRPSTW).We consider both transportation cost and customer satisfaction which are described by the prospect *** value functions of customer satisfaction with alternative delivery options are introduced,and the two satisfaction functions are converted into penalty costs,***,a nonlinear 0-1 integer programming model is *** objective function is to minimize the total cost,including the transportation cost and the customer dissatisfaction penalty *** to different requirements of logistics companies,the model can balance transportation cost and customer satisfaction,thereby contributing to improve the competitiveness of the *** improved adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm(I-ALNS) is designed to solve the *** results demonstrated that the I-ALNS can effectively improve the solutions and the efficiency through comparing I-ALNS with the basic adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm(B-ALNS).

Multi-depot vehicle routing problem(MDVRP) is an important branch of vehicle routing problem(VRP).This paper investigates the multi-depot vehicle routing problem considering customer satisfaction(MDVRPCS).The problem is to program the vehicle path of multi-depot with limited resources to maximize the satisfaction of total *** prospect theory is used to describe the satisfaction of customer,and limited resource is considered as ***,a mixed-integer mathematical model with nonlinear objective function is *** to the objective function is nonlinear,the improved variable neighborhood algorithm(IVNS) is used to solve this *** algorithm uses the improved K-means algorithm to generate the initial solution and an adaptive mechanism is added in the solution ***,the computational results show that the improved variable neighborhood algorithm(IVNS) outperforms the variable neighborhood algorithm(VNS) in solving quality and time,and joint multi-depot service can result in cost savings and higher service satisfaction.

In this paper, the target tracking problem is investigated with mobile edge computing (MEC) mechanism in internet of things (IoT), where the challenge of energy efficiency is a significant issue when the target tracking event is driven. In order to prolong the lifetime of IoT, we adopt dynamic clustering methods to improve energy efficiency while guaranteeing target tracking effects. We deign the sensor selection scheme for carrying out the tracking tasks according to energy distribution of the sensor node. Concretely, by considering the reality of random deployment and introducing the definition of node density for IoT, we develop a Pareto optimality for sensor nodes selection in terms of energy efficiency without reducing the accuracy of target tracking. Furthermore, we recruit voluntary mobile devices as mobile edge computing servers to offload the data from selected sensor nodes in the cluster and process them to the estimate the target state. Simulations demonstrate the efficiency for tracking performance on energy balance in terms of efficiently prolonging the IoT lifetime. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

An important goal in synthetic biology is in the design and implementation of control strategies embedded in biochemical reaction systems to enable control of the process at the molecular level. The problem of set-point tracking and perturbation disturbances in the biochemical reaction process can be solved by a state feedback control strategy and a more stable and better dynamic performance of synthetic controllers. First, it is shown how a set of CRNs can provide state feedback to the biomolecular implementation of the H ∞ controller. Then, to facilitate the modularity of biochemical process design, CRNs of trigonometric functions and repetitive sequence step signals are defined for the first time as input signals to the controller. Finally, numerical simulation experiments are designed to verify the effectiveness of the whole scheme from several perspectives, such as setpoint tracking and external perturbations. The results show that the state feedback H ∞ molecular controller outperforms the conventional linear controller because it has a faster tracking response and better perturbation rejection performance.
