Data-driven output regulation control for constrained linear systems

This study introduces a data-driven approach for state and output feedback control addressing the constrained output regulation problem in unknown linear discrete-time systems. Our method ensures effective tracking performance while satisfying the state and input constraints, even when system matrices are not available. We first establish a sufficient condition necessary for the existence of a solution pair to the regulator equation and propose a data-based approach to obtain the feedforward and feedback control gains for state feedback control using linear programming. Furthermore, we design a refined Luenberger observer to accurately estimate the system state, while keeping the estimation error within a predefined set. By combining output regulation theory, we develop an output feedback control strategy. The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved to be asymptotically stable by further leveraging the concept of λ-contractive sets.

In this paper,we propose a game theory framework to solve advanced persistent threat problems,especially considering two types of insider threats:malicious and *** this framework,we establish a unified three-player game model and derive Nash equilibria in response to different types of insider *** analyzing these Nash equilibria,we provide quantitative solutions to advanced persistent threat problems pertaining to insider ***,we have conducted a comparative assessment of the optimal defense strategy and corresponding defender's costs between two types of insider ***,our findings advocate a more proactive defense strategy against inadvertent insider threats in contrast to malicious ones,despite the latter imposing a higher burden on the *** theoretical results are substantiated by numerical results,which additionally include a detailed exploration of the conditions under which different insiders adopt risky *** conditions can serve as guiding indicators for the defender when calibrating their monitoring intensities and devising defensive strategies.

This paper introduces PalateTouch, a hands-free earphone interaction system that leverages acoustic sensing technology to detect gestures resulting from the interaction between the tongue and the palate. By transmitting Zadoff-Chu signals and analyzing ear canal transfer function features, PalateTouch can capture subtle ear canal deformation and recognize various palate gestures used for interaction. Our proposed palate touch screening method ensures the system remains unaffected by unintended gestures from daily activities and the calibration mechanism enables our system to achieve user-independent recognition. Using only the earphone's built-in microphone and speaker, our system can distinguish nine gestures with an average F1 score of 0.92 and a false alarm rate of 0.02 across diverse conditions with 16 participants. Additionally, we have enabled real-time functionality and conducted a user study with 11 participants to evaluate PalateTouch's effectiveness in a demo application. The Human Mobility Signature Identification (HuMID) problem stands as a fundamental task within the realm of driving style representation, dedicated to discerning latent driving behaviors and preferences from diverse driver trajectories for driver identification. Its solutions hold significant implications across various domains (e.g., ride-hailing, insurance), wherein their application serves to safeguard users and mitigate potential fraudulent activities. Present HuMID solutions often exhibit limitations in adaptability when confronted with lengthy trajectories, consequently incurring substantial computational overhead. Furthermore, their inability to effectively extract crucial local information further impedes their performance. To address this problem, we propose a Siamese Multiple Attention Temporal Convolutional Network (Siamese MA-TCN) to capitalize on the strengths of both TCN architecture and multi-head self-attention, enabling the proficient extraction of both local and long-term dependencies. Additionally, we devise a novel attention mechanism tailored for the efficient aggregation of multi-scale representations derived from our model. Experimental evaluations conducted on two real-world taxi trajectory datasets reveal that our proposed model effectively extracts both local key information and long-term dependencies. These findings highlight the model's outstanding generalization capabilities, demonstrating its robustness and adaptability across datasets of varying sizes. © 2024 IEEE.

We propose FlexibleBP, a novel cuffless blood pressure monitoring system using a wrist-worn flexible sensor to enhance comfort and accuracy. By capturing pulse wave signals from the radial artery, we develop a personalized estimation framework incorporating a Transformer model with fine-tuning. Experiments with 36 participants confirm FlexibleBP's accuracy, meeting AAMI standards. This work marks a step toward more user-friendly, advanced wearable BP monitoring solutions. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Hardware-based tracing, being efficient, can be a good alternative to the computationally-expensive software-based instrumentation in binary-only greybox fuzzing. However, it only records all branches within a specified address range, lacking the flexibility to re-filter them. To overcome these limitations, this paper introduces Tatoo, a hardware platform that employs tagged architectures and hardware tracing to enable users to perform instruction-level tagging, which can significantly reduce the volume of traced data and improve fuzzing efficiency. Tatoo also supports recording the dataflow information for smart mutations. Implemented on a real hardware FPGA platform, Tatoo demonstrates a mere 8.7% performance overhead. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s). Publication rights licensed to ACM.

This paper examines the problem of optimal deception attacks against state estimation with partially secured measurements, where smart sensors transmit innovation sequences to the remote end for information fusion. Due to resource limitations or defensive countermeasures, the adversary can only modify data packets transmitted through unreliable channels. Meanwhile, the attack should be synthesized with sophistication to deceive an anomaly detector. To investigate the vulnerabilities of such estimation systems without feedback links and enhance security performance, the optimal attack policy is derived by formulating and explicitly solving a convex optimization problem, with the goal of maximizing the sum of estimation errors. Subsequently, a novel attack detection and resilient state estimation algorithm is proposed to ensure an acceptable level of estimation accuracy. The theoretical performance metrics, including false alarm rates for the proposed detector, are provided. Finally, the effectiveness of the results is confirmed through numerical examples. © 2014 IEEE.

Point Cloud Classification Using Content-Based Transformer via Clustering in Feature Space

Recently, there have been some attempts of Transformer in 3D point cloud classification. In order to reduce computations, most existing methods focus on local spatial attention,but ignore their content and fail to establish relationships between distant but relevant points. To overcome the limitation of local spatial attention, we propose a point content-based Transformer architecture, called PointConT for short. It exploits the locality of points in the feature space(content-based), which clusters the sampled points with similar features into the same class and computes the self-attention within each class, thus enabling an effective trade-off between capturing long-range dependencies and computational complexity. We further introduce an inception feature aggregator for point cloud classification, which uses parallel structures to aggregate high-frequency and low-frequency information in each branch separately. Extensive experiments show that our PointConT model achieves a remarkable performance on point cloud shape classification. Especially, our method exhibits 90.3% Top-1 accuracy on the hardest setting of ScanObjectN N. Source code of this paper is available at https://***/yahuiliu99/PointC onT.
