This paper proposes a new ISAR algorithm for obtaining well-focused images of targets with complex motions in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environments. The algorithm models the echo signals of targets with complex motions as cubic phase signals (CPS) after motion compensations and uses the Non-uniformed Sampled Integrated Modified Chirp Rate-Quadratic Chirp Rate Distribution (NIM-CRQCRD) to estimate CPS parameters. The proposed algorithm compensates the echo signals using the parameter estimates and generates ISAR images of targets with complex motions. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has superior anti-noise performance. © 2023 IEEE.

At present, some performance evaluation methods of intelligent computing platform oriented to air combat decision algorithm have problems such as complex evaluation index system construction, poor evaluation accuracy, difficult to verify the effectiveness of evaluation conclusions and lack of real-time performance. Based on this, this paper establishes the intelligent computing platform performance evaluation index set according to the intelligent decision class algorithm structure, platform compatibility and platform hardware characteristics. Cloud center of gravity method and consistent weighting method are selected as the evaluation algorithm and weighting algorithm respectively to carry out real-time evaluation and form the initial evaluation conclusion. Besides, the 'evaluation confidence' is used to judge the validity of the evaluation conclusion and whether a second evaluation is needed to form the final conclusion and the simulation environment of air combat is used to verify the accuracy of the evaluation results. This method avoids the randomness and uncertainty of the traditional evaluation methods, ensures the real-time and effectiveness of the evaluation results, significantly improves the accuracy, and can truly and effectively reflect the operational performance of the computing platform equipped with the air-combat decision algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem of low reliability of airborne bus communication platforms under limited volume, weight, power consumption, and computing power in airborne environments, the design scheme of the airborne bus communication platform was completed by demonstrating the software and hardware architecture of isomorphic dual redundancy channels. This design scheme first analyzes the usage scenarios and requirements indicators of the airborne bus communication platform, standardizes the design process based on the analysis indicators, and then designs a hardware architecture based on isomorphic dual redundancy channels according to the requirements and application environment of the design scheme. Finally, it focuses on the data interaction characteristics between the airborne product and the upper computer, Complete the design of dual redundancy data intelligent control software from the perspective of dual channel data flow and channel fault switching. Simulation examples show that this solution effectively solves the problems of high fault reporting rate and excessive resource redundancy in traditional equipment, and significantly improves the reliability of massive data transmission and reception in airborne environments. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm technology has opened up new possibilities for various applications, such as search and rescue, precision agriculture, and surveillance. However, the coordination of a large-scale UAV swarm is a complex task that requires intelligent, efficient, and scalable techniques. In recent years, the emergence of microservice architecture has provided a promising approach to addressing the challenges of UAV swarm coordination with intelligent techniques. In this paper, we first provide scenario analyses to demonstrate how intelligent microservices allow UAV swarm coordination more effective and efficient. Then, we present key technologies for UAV swarm coordination based on intelligent microservices. Specifically, we introduce our solutions to address the three main challenges, i.e., service split, service registration and discovery, and security and privacy in implementing the intelligent microservice-based UAV swarm coordination system. Finally, we present the possible future directions of this research area, i.e., optimization of computing resource allocation, integration of advanced AI algorithm, and human-UAV interaction. © 2024, Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

As the core component of the aircraft, the avionics system has gone through the independent, federated, and integrated architecture to deal with the increasingly complex air combat scenarios. With the development of artificial intelligence and integrated circuits, avionics systems should be prepared to equip a large number of intelligent applications, which contributes to more effectively completing the military missions. In addition, the next generation of avionics systems need to be more flexible, and thus can be conveniently updated and allow intelligent applications effectively communicate with each other. Therefore, to achieve a more intelligent and flexible avionics system, this paper proposes a novel Service-oriented Intelligent Avionics System Architecture, named as SIASA. With such a service-oriented architecture, SIASA provides a flexible software platform by treating intelligent applications as services. Specifically, the proposed SIASA consists of seven layers, i.e., airborne intelligent chip layer, abstraction layer, hashrate abstraction layer, equipment abstraction layer, airborne service capability layer, airborne intelligent application atomic service layer, and airborne intelligent application layer. With these layers, SIASA well supports intelligent applications and is able to make effective and efficient updates. Furthermore, SIASA also supports more advanced scenarios, including airborne OTA, drag-and-drop software development, and system intelligence. © 2023, Chinese Aeronautical Society.

ISAR imaging algorithm based on Coherent accumulation type non-uniform sampling third-order autocorrelation function (CANS-TAF) is proposed for complex moving targets. CANS-TAF defines a new non-uniform sampling third-order autocorrelation function (NTAF), which enables signal energy to accumulate coherently in the slow time delay two-dimensional data domain and improves the noise resistance performance of CPS parameter estimation. And the implementation process of this algorithm only requires complex multiplication, Scaled Fourier Transform (SFT) and Complete the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) operation. It is a new non search parameter estimation algorithm that does not require tedious parameter search processes or the use of non-uniform Fourier transform. The final simulation experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm in terms of Noise immunity.

In order to solve the problems of difficulty in modeling the operating state of UAV engines, high computational complexity, and poor predictability, this paper improves the traditional data dimensionality reduction and health prediction methods, introduces a neural network model to solve the key parameters, and forms a Improve the KPCA-LSTM intelligent algorithm to manage the health of unmanned helicopter engines. This algorithm reduces the dimensionality of the engine input parameter data by improving the KPCA algorithm, reducing the input data dimension during subsequent modeling. It uses the LSTM algorithm to learn and reason about the dependence between healthy engine loading and input data, and achieves long-term operation of the UAV engine. Trends and predictions of remaining life. Simulation experiments show that the improved intelligent algorithm can effectively predict the remaining life of the engine.
