The OLSR routing protocol is a proactive Linkstate routing protocol in Ad hoc networks. It uses MPR nodes to spread TC messages across the network, reducing the flooding of protocol control messages in the network. However, all MPR nodes used to propagate a TC message in the whole network are not optimal, and there are a lot of redundancy, which results in unnecessary forwarding of TC messages and increases the overhead of control protocol. To overcome this limitation, the concepts of multi-point one hop neighbor relay (MPOHNR) and multi-point two hop neighbor relay (MPTHNR) are proposed, and the node selection algorithms of MPOHNR and MPTHNR are given. By using MPOHNR and MPTHNR to forward TC messages alternately, the number of forwarding nodes is reduced, the control protocol overhead is reduced, the effective bandwidth of the link is greatly increased, and the end-to-end average delay is reduced. Numerical simulations by using the EXATA software verifies that, the improved OLSR routing protocol is a potential design method for optimizing OLSR routing protocol.

The research of target tracking mainly focuses on one-to-one and many-to-one tracking, and occasionally on many-to-many tasks. Compared with single target tracking, multiple target tracking has broader application prospects and important research significance. The core problem of multiple targets tracking is the target assignment. This paper first introduces the improved L1 algorithm, which can realize the target tracking with a single UAV. The global asymptotic stability of the algorithm is also illustrated. Secondly, the time-optimal strategy based on the virtual structure is utilized to solve the target assignment. Finally, the numerical simulations are carried out for the tracking problems of moving targets, and the results verify the effectiveness of the proposed tracking algorithm. © 2022, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Aromatic is a vital chemical raw material and product as well as an essential component for aviation fuel. Bio-based aromatics, especially the monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, are beneficial for the green chemical process and aviation fuel development. In this research, firstly, the effects of different kinds of metal catalysts (Pt/C, Rh/C, Ru/C, Pd/C, 65 wt% Ni/SiO2–Al2O3) on the pyrolysis behavior and aromatic hydrocarbons selectivity of four kinds of agricultural and forestry waste biomass (wheat straw, rape straw, poplar sawdust, and bamboo powder) were systematically investigated. The research results showed that the selectivity of aromatics has been largely increased in the presence of 65 wt% Ni/SiO2–Al2O3 while the carbon-based noble catalysts had few impacts on aromatics production. Furtherly, zeolite with different Si/Al ratios (5:18, 5:50, 5:85, 5:300, and 5:470) and the Ni loading amounts (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 wt%) were systematically studied. The series of Ni/ZSM-5 catalyst reduced the phenolic components in the pyrolysis products, and significantly increased the relative content of the target product aromatics, and the proportion of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the aromatic. The research results showed the ZSM-5 with the Si/Al ratio of 5:18 had the best catalytic properties for aromatic production. The loading of 10 wt% of Ni (10 wt% Ni/ZSM-5, Si/Al = 5:18) further boosted the catalytic performance for wheat straw, achieving the highest relative concentration of aromatic at 67%, of which the ratio of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon was 55%. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd

To improve the disturbance rejection ability and repetitive tracking accuracy of manipulators, a composite iterative learning control (ILC) scheme via generalized proportional integral observer (GPIO) is proposed. A high-order polynomial is first employed to model the time-varying disturbances that include unmodeled dynamics, parameter uncertainties and load fluctuations. A GPIO is then designed to estimate the disturbances and high-order time derivatives. By introducing estimations into a PD-type ILC at each iteration, a composite control scheme is obtained, such that the undesirable influence of time-varying disturbances can be effectively attenuated in the repetitive tracking process of manipulators. In this paper, the rigorous stability analysis of the closed-loop system is presented to guarantee that the tracking error exponentially converges to zero as the iteration number tends to infinity. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is finally verified by simulation results.

The study of the characteristics of the annular flow film in the narrow rectangular channel under the localized deformation can provide a research basis for the heat and mass transfer and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the locally deformed narrow flow channel. In this study, the annular flow liquid film characterization experiments are carried out in a narrow rectangular channel without local deformation, ellipsoidal deformation and pillow-shaped deformation, and different annular flow liquid film parameters liquid film thickness, disturbance wave height, and disturbance wave wavelength are obtained by high-speed camera acquisition system and intelligent image processing technology. Analyze the effects of flow conditions and local deformation on the liquid film parameters of each annular flow. Local deformation impact factor functions for liquid film thickness, disturbance wave height, and disturbance wave wavelength are obtained. Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Annular Fluid Film in a Locally Deformed Narrow Rectangular Channel

The local deformation of plate fuel assembly due to neutron irradiation will lead to the deterioration of heat transfer in the flow channel. Studying the characteristics of annular flow films in narrow rectangular channels under localized deformation provides a foundation for understanding the heat and mass transfer and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the locally deformed narrow flow channel. In this study, the annular flow liquid film characterization experiments were conducted in a narrow rectangular channel under three conditions: no local deformation, ellipsoidal deformation, and pillow-shaped deformation. Various parameters of the annular flow liquid films, including liquid film thickness, disturbance wave height, and disturbance wave wavelength, were obtained using a high-speed camera acquisition system and advanced image processing techniques. The effects of flow conditions and local deformation on the liquid film parameters of each annular flow were analyzed. As the radial size of the local deformation increases relative to the liquid film thickness, the viscous bottom layer of the liquid film disintegrates, resulting in a reduction of the total liquid film thickness. When the gas-phase velocity is low, the local deformation exerts a greater shear force on the disturbance wave, prolonging the action time and increasing the likelihood of wave disintegration. Under conditions of no channel deformation, the disturbance wave wavelength is negatively correlated with the gas-phase velocity;conversely, under localized channel deformation, the wavelength is positively correlated with the gas-phase velocity. Thus, the effect of localized deformation on wavelength is bidirectional. Local deformation impact factor functions for liquid film thickness, disturbance wave height, and disturbance wave wavelength have been derived, with the error of these impact factor functions maintained within ±30%. © 2024, The Authors. Concentration distribution of air pollutants in commercial aircraft cabins are important for providing passengers and crew wi th a healthy and comfortable environment. To verify whether the concentration of air pollutants meets airworthiness standards, this article focuses on the cabin of a specific aircraft and employs numerical simulation to analyze the CO 2 concentration distribution during single-engine drift. The MCT single-engine drift calculations reveal that pollutants initially increase and then decrease as the aircraft descends from 7620m to the emergency ventilation altitude, the concentrations of pollutants in the x section, y section and z section increasing by 66.87%, 55.61%, and 61.08% respectively, maintaining pollutant concentrations within acceptable limits throughout the drift.

A robustness-enhanced reconstruction based on discontinuity feedback factor for high-order finite volume scheme

In this paper, a robustness-enhanced reconstruction for the high-order finite volume scheme is constructed on the 2-D structured mesh, and both the high-order gas-kinetic scheme(GKS) and the Lax-Friedrichs(L-F) flux solver are considered to verify the validity of this algorithm. The strategy of the successful WENO reconstruction is adopted to select the smooth sub-stencils. However, there are cases where strong discontinuities exist in all sub-stencils of the WENO reconstruction, which leads to a decrease in the robustness. To improve the robustness of the algorithm in discontinuous regions in two-dimensional space, the hybrid reconstruction based on a combination of discontinuity feedback factor(DF) [17] and WENO reconstruction is developed to deal with the possible discontinuities. Numerical results from smooth to extreme cases have been presented and validate that the new finite volume scheme is effective for robustness enhancement and maintains high resolution compared to the WENO scheme. The design, fabrication, testing and implementation of a new high-performance tungsten-rhenium thin film thermocouple are introduced. In this paper, tungsten-rhenium TFTCs are taken as the research object, after simulation analysis in COMSOL software and design, it is made by screen-printing technology and magnetron sputtering. This kind of thin film thermocouple primarily utilizes two kinds of electrode materials with varying composition combination, mainly tungsten with 5% rhenium and tungsten with 26% rhenium. Furthermore, high-temperature annealing is performed to maintain the mechanical properties and thus improve thermoelectric performance. The results demonstrate that the performance is reliable in the temperature range of 150-600 C° with a repeatability of 2.02%, providing application value for high-temperature in-situ sensing.

Research on Aircraft Surface Taxi Path Planning and Conflict Detection and Resolution

Aircraft surface taxiing conflict avoidance is mostly adopted by waiting and rerouting methods, but this method does not consider the difference in total taxiing time that may be caused by different strategies. In this study, the airport taxiing path optimization model and taxiing area division model are constructed first. Then, the taxiway use is controlled by subregion based on the analysis of the surface activity area connection relationship. Based on the results of aircraft surface taxiway preselection, the time window of the taxiing area is solved and conflict detection is performed. For aircraft with taxiing conflicts, waiting or changing paths is selected to deconflict taxiing by comparing priorities. An improved A∗ algorithm solution is applied to generate conflict-free glide paths and new glide trajectory occupancy time windows, while the glide paths of aircraft without glide conflicts are not affected. The results of the study show that the use of time windows for conflict detection and deconfliction can further reduce the total taxiing time of aircraft operating on the surface, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of aircraft conflicts, and thus, airport operational safety is ensured. This study has a high practical value and is expected to be applied in the real-time control decision of aircraft taxiing in the future. © 2021 Ningning Zhao et al.
