On December 13,2012,China’s Chang’E II spacecraft successfully flew by the asteroid Toutatis,and obtained a series of clear optical images on Toutatis surface,which is China’s first asteroid detection and also human’s first close optical exploration on the *** optical images are of great benefit to build an accurate model of Toutatis surface,and to analyze physical properties of the ***,due to the acquired optical images can only reveal a partial surface of Toutatis,meanwhile influenced by light,one cannot visually determine whether the optical images reveal a complete side of Toutatis or not,in other words,how much part of the side was not photographed because of light *** the paper,based on the Chang-E II flew over strategy,combined with the spacecraft’s orbit,attitude and other navigation information,and through photographic measurement method,the angle between the direction of the sun light and the line of sight of Toutatis’s surface feature points was accurately calculated,namely irradiation *** precise calculation,irradiation angles of Toutatis surface feature points are 36.8～39.0 degrees,and furtherly,with the help of a pose simulation of a radar-observing-based shape model by NASA,we can get one important conclusion,that is during the fly by,the space borne optical camera got complete imaging for one side of Toutatis’s surface,and there is no wide shadow on the images.

After bearing off from the Lander on December 15, 2013, the Chang'E-3 'Yutu' Rover starts its three-month exploration journey around the lunar surface. During the exploration journey, the 'Yutu' Rover should acquire its own position and orientation in time so that it can reach the target to be probed and accomplish the detection tasks, which depends on high-precision positioning and navigating methods. This paper presents the technical details of positioning and navigating method of 'Yutu' Rover, which is implemented by an integrated bundle adjustment system incorporating the cylindrical projection of sequential images and the calibration parameters of binocular cameras. The cylindrical projection of sequential images in the current station contains a larger overlapped region with that in the last station than a single image, and it includes more abundant feature points for the matching of large-scale transformative images. Thus, the rover in large-span states can be positioned by constructing bundle adjustment models with the matched feature points and the calibration parameters of binocular cameras. The positioning method has been successfully applied to the lunar exploration of 'Yutu' Rover and has a good performance in guiding the movement of the 'Yutu' Rover. © 2014 IEEE.

A multiple activated anti-windup compensated algorithm for Active Disturbance Rejection control(ADRC) mechanism is proposed in this paper. This paradigm extends the multi-activated anti-windup scheme to the active disturbance rejection mechanism, to deal with the input saturation nonlinearity and meanwhile reject the disturbance automatically by using Extended State Observer(ESO). The output of anti-windup compensator is treated as a part of unknown disturbances and is introduced into the ESO, which can online observe both internal and external disturbances(parameter uncertainties and model mismatches). The controller input is yielded by using a nonlinear feedback combination, and it is used to compensate the integrator windup caused by the saturation nonlinearity element. On the other hand, in order to determine the parameters of the ESO and the anti-windup compensator feedback gain, the L2 gain design method is considered. The effectiveness and the robustness against model and parameter uncertainties of the proposed method is verified by an example of the seeker platform.

In this paper, a distributed event-triggered control strategy is proposed such that consensus of multi-agent systems is achieved subject to input saturation in an output feedback setting. Instead of triggering the controller periodically, the proposed controller is not activated until the response of the system exceeds some pre-defined event-triggered limitation. The case of the output feedback is considered and the allowed saturation approach is introduced to deal with the nonlinearity caused by the input saturation. In the proposed scheme, since no hard constraint is imposed to the control input, we can make full use of the available actuator capacity. In addition, results on the minimization of the frequency of the event-triggered actions are provided.

In this paper,a novel randomized step frequency radar with weighted PSO is proposed to recover the range and velocity joint estimating by exploiting sparseness of the targets and invoking compressed sensing(CS) *** this algorithm,we abandons the exhaustive list method in the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(OMP) scheme,which is easy to cause performance degradation in the radar ***,a weighted PSO dynamic optimal method is adopted,where the convergence speed is increased due to the weighted factor introduced in the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO).The primary advantage of this method lies in being less sensitive to the initial value of target parameters in the case of online optimization ***,this method overcomes the limitation that the initial parameters must be selected close to the true value of the target,which is not constant in many *** is not necessary to know exactly the target parameters when using our approach,instead,coarse coding bounds of target parameters are enough for the algorithm,which can be done once and for all off-line,and it is only necessary to specify the initial scopes of the velocity and the range of the *** results demonstrate that the proposed weighted PSO approach provides a faster convergence speed and robustness against unpredictable perturbations for range and velocity joint estimating in randomized step frequency radar.

This paper presents a SOA and cloud computing based architecture for the distributed simulation of advanced flight management system (FMS). The architecture is designed to facilitate the fast simulation, validation and evaluation of different FMS system designs and functionalities with customized system configurations and widely varying aircraft equipage levels under various operation conditions. It is also intended to accommodate the potential evolutionary extensions of new avionics concepts and functionalities such as the future CNS/ATM and 4-D trajectory based technologies. To address the requirements of flexibility, scalability and reusability, the design of the simulation architecture takes advantage of the cloud computing and service oriented architecture (SOA) and the key enabling technologies are developed: simulation unit service encapsulation, simulation agent technology and simulation orchestration. Based on the proposed architecture associated technologies, the simulation components are encapsulated as services or accessed through agents, and the configuration of different FMS system frameworks and simulation tasks can be achieved through simulation orchestration. A prototype avionic simulation system that implements the SOA/cloud computing architecture is developed and illustrated with application cases. The applications demonstrate that the proposed architecture enables fast and scalable simulation of both existing and new FMS design and technologies. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

This paper proposes a method of Earth polar motion parameters prediction by dual differential least-squares (LS) and autoregressive (AR) model. Firstly, polar motion parameters are processed by dual differential method, the stationarity of polar motion parameters is improved. Then, LS+AR method is utilized to analyze the dual differential polar motion parameters to obtain the preliminary prediction results. Finally, the preliminary prediction results are processed by inverse dual differential method to obtain high accuracy polar motion prediction results. The prediction results are compared with EOP prediction comparison campaign (EOP_PCC) results, it shows that the short-term polar motion parameters prediction error is at the same level of EOP_PCC. The one day prediction accuracy of PMX is at the level of 0.25 mas, PMY is 0.2 mas, they are better than EOP_PCC one day polar motion prediction accuracy. © Tsinghua University Press, Beijing and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015.

This paper describes the first implementation of Delta-DOR (Delta-Differential One-Way Ranging) in CE'3 navigation within China DSN(Deep Space Network). Tracking data during CE'3 cruise to the moon is analyzed. Compared with high accurate orbit ephemeris, time delay error in the delta-DOR measurement is less than 1ns, which corresponds to an angular accuracy of about 90nrad or 37m uncertainty on the probe position at 380000km. Delta-DOR tracking has played an important role in CE'3 navigation.
